Choose ''install supersu binary'' in FRAMAROOT and click ''BOOMIR''
It asks to reboot your phone, if it doesn't then again repeat the steps. It will ask you to reboot after 2-3 times.
Reboot your phone and Supersu will be installed.

nw what 2 do please tell??
Yea
Have you tried using bin4ry's rooting tool yet? It should work for your mmx device. Download it from this thread.
Download PdaNet from here, install it to your pc and plug your device in with USE DEBUGGING enabled when prompted. After installing pdanet, download the rooting tool which I have linked, run it, hit the appropriate number to root and it should do the rest itself.
Your device will then restart and you should have root.

[11-07-2014 UPDATE Thread] How to get ROOT with ColorOS v1.2.3i on X9076/X9077/X9007/X9006
Download :
1) Official Recovery Mod from Kedros[ (custom recoveries like CWM or TWRP stopped working on this build in X9076)
2) Oppo Root from KedrosOppo Root from Kedros (SuperSU 2.01 apears to be not working)
Steps by step to root:
1. Run fastboot mode on you phone and plug it to PC.
2. Flash recovery "Recovery Mod from Kedros" using prompt command like above 1.2.2i, but here with :
Code:
fastboot flash recovery x9077-official-recovery-mod.img
3. Do not turn off your phone, instead of this PRESS VOLUME DOWN + POWER and enter in new recovery.
4. Flash from new recovery "Oppo Root from Kedros" (flashing simillar to 1.2.2i rooting the phone)
5. Enjoy ! Your OPPO is rooted !
Issue : SuperSU 2.01 doesn't work.

I don't see how rooting the device affects which version of ColorOS you want installed.

Of course it is, I just meant this is convenient if your wiping and flashing constantly and want an easy way to root from the device.
Does this method allow updates?

This package is signed such that it will flash in stock recovery.
If you install a custom recovery (which allows you to flash ZIPs signed with keys other than the manufacturer's) you may as well just flash SuperSU
Fun fact: Many ICS releases for the Samsing I9100, I777, and N7000 allowed flashing of ZIPs signed with testkeys using their stock recovery. So you could flash SuperSU on stock recovery with those devices/releases. Samsung's gingerbread and JB releases didn't allow this.

I want to inform you guys, that the Dolby Atmos Audiomod is fully compatible with our phones.
You can get it from HERE.
It's working on 5.x just as on 6.0 beta ROMS.
Make sure, you download all 3 zips in case something goes wrong.
Just flash the dap_r6.5.zip file first, then the deep_buffer_remover.zip in order to remove the loudness when headphone is detached.
If you mess up something, just flash the dap_r6.5.1-uninstall.zip file to revert the changes.
Enjoy your enhanced music experience!

This is good news. I'll try once I'm ready to root and customize my device.
This is working just fine. I'm pretty amazed by what the speakers are actually capable of. This is the best alternative to ViperFor Android which has been working fine on the Huawei P8 Lite but this is simply better and more user-friendly.
BTW I tested in on 6.0
Do you mind telling me the command to flash the zip using fastboot? For a reason I can't install a custom recovery. I can only use commands in fastboot.

You can install this over a custom recovery, which doesn't actually require root but only an unlocked bootloader. If you don't know what that is use the search
The second way is to flash this via fastboot, which requires an unlocked bootloader and the ADB.
Good Luck
BTW: It has become one of my favorite apps over the last weeks that I've used this tool.

Flash raw for M

I had a bricked one too and the one and only guide to solve it for me is:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/help/thead-bricked-phone-updating-to-mm-tips-t3452785
Because of the additional problems in windows10 I went to an old win7 machine and got it run again by following each step exactly.
Finally I flashed manual with step "Flashing Firmware Without AFT", because my serial# was killed to 123456.... and Asus-Flashtool did not run with it.
One heavy issue in other guides was a fail in addressing the xfstk-downloader, keep care to use address 0x80000807 (four x zero in a row, not 5 as other guides show)
Good luck!
