[Q] What is the right CWM? - Samsung Galaxy Gio GT-S5660

Hello,
I'm newbie of this device. All I want is the custom rom like I found in this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2417502. But I confused with the compatible CWM. Could you please give me the link of the compatible CWM for my stock GB DXKT8?

CWM 5.0.2.8 = Android 2.3.x
CWM 6.0.3.2 = Android 4.x.x
To install that ROM, you probably need CWM 6.

Looking for the latest CWM version available for Xperia Mini Pro 10

Hi folks, I would like to install the [KK_4.4.2] PHD rom on a Xperia Mini Pro 10 but I can't seem to find a link to download a compatible version of CWM , my device is on stock 4.0 ICS but it's rooted and I was able to install an older version of CWM on it only which gave me an error (error 7) when I tried to instal KK. I already asked on the ROM thread however the developer did not respond to it yet.
Any help finding the download link and instructions on how to install it is much appreciated.
Thanks!

hey the rom you want to install needs custom kernel. (its inside zip) all custom kernel have recovery INSIDE. so dont worry about CWM, just flash that kernel 1st

Hi buddy, I checked the zip contents and couldn't find "boot.img" inside, wasn't that supposed to be the kernal containing CWM?
Thanks
Stop everything that you are doing.
You are in the wrong forum. Installing this ROM will brick your device for good. This forum has all the stuff for Xperia Arc phone, you don't have it so you shouldn't be here at all.

Switch your recovery to TWRP 2.6.3.2 or 2.7.0. You can find links to either of them in my signature. Click on jelly Kat FAQ version 4&5 and you'll find links to TWRP.Download the zip file of TWRP recovery and flash it using your existing philz recovery and then try flashing the DN3 ROM. BTW I've been using their V5+ version and was happy with it. Their latest release is V5.2 so give it a try. The release you are trying to flash is Jelly Bean version not Kit Kat version.

You mean downgrade from kitkat to jellybean, since kitkat is newer to jellybean.Yes you can go back and forth between Kitkat and Jellybean custom ROM whenever you like.
Custom Recovery / ROM
Team,
I am trying to Root my phone for custom ROM - on my note 2 n7100. I tried to flash using ODIN 3,9 version and had TWRP 2.7 version. Tried to boot but getting Stock Android Recovery mode rather TWRP mode.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

Yes, you just need to do what's in this thread :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=37189072 and then read this thread for AOSP 4.4.4 : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48895795 or search for other Custom ROM's in Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 Android Developement and follow the instructions that are included in those threads.

If you ask questions please be exact and complete with your first message
If you what to install 4.4.4 custom ROMs you need Jelly Bean (JB) at first!
You are still on Gingerbread (Baseband XXLL2 is GB)
1) Flash JB FW accoring to your Phone (http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-I8160 - I8160XXNB1 or I8160XXNF2)
2) Flash TEMP CWM via Stock Recovery (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2141395)
3) Flash 4.4.4 custom ROM you like via temp CWM
An seperate rooting is not needed because almost any Custom ROM has Root integrated.

[Q] Problem downgrade KitKat To ICS

Hey guys i still haven't done nothing but i'm here to ask what to do. Here is my problem :
Currently on my phone i have installed :
- Resurrection Remix v 5.1.4 with a DarkRaven Kernel.
The version of android is : 4.4.2 which is KitKat
I want to go back to the old Xperia Ultimate HD 3.0.2 cause i remember it was great in graphic and in performance without battery drain ( a problem that i'm currently facing).
What do i have to do to go back to ICSand install Ultimate HD 3.0.2 since right now i'm using kit kat?
Another but little problem :
-I remember i used a vengeance kernel so if you can help me which one i'll have to use would be great.
Thanks to whoever will help me! Have a nice day!
