Sound Booster - Nexus 7 (2013) Q&A

Does anyone know of a good app to boost the volume on the nexus 7?

There is a script in the stock ROM that you can change values in and it will dramatically boost the volumes but I sadly cannot find the site/guide/thread I stumbled upon when I saw it as I myself want to do that same without downloading another app but you need root for this method.

Adobe Photoshop Touch

Has anyone attempted side-loading this app? I'm pretty disappointed to see it's incompatable with the N7.
I have it loaded on my N7 and it seems to work fine. I just pulled it for data/app out of one of my other device and moved it to my N7 and installed it.
Good to know! I want to buy it but I do not have a tab or phone that supports it .
Yup,I can also confirm it's working. It's actually really nice running it on my Nexus 7 instead of my Galaxy Nexus, lol

I'd love to have a copy of this as I do a lot of photo processing. But I don't have a backed-up apk. Anyone know where I can get one?
Edit:
Ooops! Forgot it's a paid app. Will petition Adobe to upgrade it.

Any build.prop mods needed to get it to run? It starts loading on my nexus, but then just quits.

Running it on rooted stock at 160 dpi. Works great!

Dead Trigger Issue

When I load into a mission the first few seconds of game play stutters a lot.
Is this a common issue and is there any way to fix this?
I am using TeamEos ROM.
Thanks

If it doesn't bother you you can change from ultra high settings too high this solves the problem for me

Ultra high works fine for me .never had a issue yet ....besides losing all my crap when they updated it keep force closing if we had the first release of dead trigger ..so I had to re install....
The posted the info about updating a few days after.........
Either than that no issues on updated version

Considering purchase of this phone. 1 question.

Does this phone register as a "phone" on the Google play store? I've primarily used Wifi devices as my phone for about 2 years now, and have upgraded to a Nexus 7. The only problem was, most apps (the ones I want) are only compatible with phone sizes and not tablet sizes.
So I wanted to know if this phone had any compatibility issues with those phone size apps, if any.

Tablet mode

Can anyone tell me what I have to do to get it on 4.4

Follow the simple steps http://www.androidcentral.com/how-manually-update-your-nexus-tablet-kitkat make e sure you have installed Google USB driver in order for adb to recognise your device

I am pretty sure that he means tablet mode like Honeycomb. You will have to wait for someone to modify the framework or wait until AOKP/Paranoid comes out.

This has been driving me nuts as well. I can't even change my build.prop to get split pane in settings any more! /twitch
