[Q] Low Volume with CyanogenMod - HTC One X

Good morning xda members!
I'm a crazy flasher of rom for HTC One x, but, everytime I try to install CyanogenMod I get extremely low volume comparaed with another roms I love the UI of "pure" android for HTC, but I also need a decent volume because of my daily routine. Is there some real functional Mod or apk to solve this problem?
Thanks!
Regards from Brazil.

You should ask in the CyanogenMod thread, they'll probably know how to solve that issue.

Beats audio in Desire!!

I was able to boot up Blissymede V1 in my desire from here.. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1285099)
It has beats included in it and it works fine. I saw some comments regarding its volume at the development threads, its right that its sound is abit low compared to other roms and when i installed DSPManager and configured its Headset Virtual Room Effect to Large room or just room, the volume was considerably louder.
I am so happy, now my beats earphone is loving its companion in my desire!! Thanks to the developer coolexe and shubhamchamaria and everyone who makes this xda community the best!! Cheers!!
maybe you should post it in the thread for the rom to help the other users
also under equalizer turn loudness compensation to strongest then its alot better
Would the beats software work as the technology isn't present in the phone?

I dont know about that but all i have felt after using it is, it certainly gives out high performance audio with every tiny details the artist has added in the song for us to hear. That makes it so so different than normal softwares.
Cool to know. As the stock music apps have been pretty damn poor. Although the HTC dhd music app was ok. Although i will probably still use doubletwist as i have purchased the "air sync" feature which i love.

I am pretty sure you will like the sound quality but be warned rom gets sluggish sometimes!! All the best
Yeah I have an issue with the sense3.0 and3.5 roms for doing that. I have mentioned that in my thread. But I will still give it a go.

but too bad still lots of bugs in the rom hard for everyday use
Want to try it too but the UI of all the 3 & 3.5 sense roms are too slow for my daily Rom :-( let's hope someone will be able to port it and in other roms.

Kalevi you're brave going to dhd as that's been around a year and a bit now. I'm being patient. Lol
And I guessed that it will.be pretty buggy. Which is a shame. But the desire wasn't built for that unfortunately.
I bet this Rom that is ported to the HTC hero is sooooo slow. Lol

Hi everyone,
I record video on a loud environment but the audio some times is low some time is high and is very bad quality? is there anything that will stabilize the audio recording?

Are you on custom rom? If so you tried to reflash/different rom?
If you're on stock maybe contact HTC Support?
Hope this helps

kk ill contact them first.
If you're on stock I would advice to contact support first, else you get the 'illegal software' treatment and no warranty even tho it's faulty hardware.
Better be sure then sorry!
Good luck

One V Camera Mod?

I've seen camera mods for different devices and I want to ask - is there development for a camera mod for our precious HTC One V? I really want to improve the camera experience of this device so we can get the full potential of the ImageSense technologies and stuff.

One of the most important features for the One V is being able to use the power button as a shutter button, since the One V lacks a hardware camera key.
Just throwing that out there.

Would be great to improve on the standard 720p bitrate of 5Mb/s. Since moding the media_profiles.xml on this device does not effect the stock camera.
or point me in the right direction in doing this myself?
many thanks

No - if BT is on there is no deep sleep in CM9
Issue is related to to fact that the code in CM cannot do it right now
compared to stock one which is properitary and cannot be used in CM
Blame HTC that they dont open their source for that part
Bluetooth and CM9
Had the same problem with my old HTC Wildfire S which was running CM7.2 and was fixed so the possibility exists to do it in CM9 too.
anyhow it would be interested to find out how it was fixed for the wildfire s

Well -I need the sources and not a kernel image
Maybe you will able to get them from the one which published those binaries, since it should not be different. anyhow your work is terrific and as embedded programmer i understand your work.

I have already looked at some of those "solutions" but they cannot
be applied 1:1 to our case
The main problem is that we need to use brcm_patchram_plus to load the BT firmware
but the --enable-lpm flag which "should" allow the deep sleep is not
working with the bcm4330 firmware. I dont know the exact reason right now
and have never looked into more detail into it so far
Worth Figuring Out
Well it is worth figuring out since all of us which are using car kit via Bluetooth which is in many countries part of the laws it is a must have other wise the entire car kit is obsolete.
if you guys will have some time to address that issue it would be very appropriated by the One V users, since with your CM9 rom and Titanoim Kiss kernel the beast is flying.

Think I have enough feedback to make it official
So the fix is working and will be included in the next
KISS kernel release
BTW: Just to note it here again
This is only an issue for NON stock ROM users!
And also: This has nothing to do with this issue
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1889711
I am still working on that.

EDIT: Buid with this fix released

Sound of Speaker Increase?

Dear all,
I have a doubt about the speaker of HTC one X, because when i on outside, the sound is very low and can´t hear well.
Are there any program or tweak for this?
Thanks
Got same problem...
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
Send it in for repairs. My One X came out of the box with a soft speaker. I didn't know about the problem, until I sent it in for other (Battery related, non-speaker) repairs. Turns out my speaker needs replacement too. Its now much louder. Kudos to HTC for checking the phone for other faults instead of just fixing reported problems before sending it back.
I use PowerAMP to gain some extra volume
