Hi,
I cannot mount USB-OTG. I had CWM 6.0 and it didn't work. So I flashed [Recovery] TWRP 2.6.3.0 touch recovery (no root required) by Wootever http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2455828 and I cant find the USB-OTG under "Mount"
I am running Official CM 10.2
Thanks
The usb otg mode isn't correctly implemented yet, it will be added in the next update.

my htc one x device doesn't boot up (only shows the HTC quietly brilliant screen) because i've formatted the sdcard and data files...
im now only able to boot into clockworkmod recovery...
can't even copy any files into the phone thru USB, as such, i can't install any ROMs...
tried to do a search on this but im an android noob and couldn't understand many of the would-be-related threads...
any kind soul can provide guides to how can i solve this?
thanks!
Use the latest CWM recovery
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1594819
Then you can mount USB with it and copy the ROM.zip to your sdcard and flash.
thanks for your reply!
i've got CWM 5.8.2.7 but i couldnt mount USB storage.
it gives me an error of:
"E: Unable to open ums lunfile (no such file or dir)"
That's an old CWM recovery with USB problem. Download the latest at the link given and flash it, you'll solve your problem easily.

thank you so much for your help!!! finally the noob has gotten it fixed!
We did it.
We have a CWM Recovery for the Z990 Avail, PLUS a 'stock' Avail kernel with ext4 support
(The recovery was also built with the ext4 kernel. No menus to admin ext4, tho)
Have both Temp CWM (as a update.zip)
And a ADB flashable recovery.img
The kernel is coming soon
Happy testing!

I fixxed it by do ing the following:
- Use the power button + Volume up button and hold it, to HARD SHUTDOWN the device
- Enter flashmode by holding volume down button
- Flash 2.3.7 stock rom
And cwm is gone and you can start all over with a correct version of CWM
I have a Galaxy SII I727 on CM 10.1 20130403 nightly and CWMRTouch 6.0.2.7 14.4.6 and it can update itself going into recovery without any input after selecting it from the settings menu.
My wife just got her Galaxy SII T989D today. I flashed the exact same version of CWMRTouch (for Hercules) on her phone 6.0.2.7 14.4.6 and flashed CM 10.1 20130402 and gapps.
I tried testing the auto update feature, but it shows an error in recovery and stops.
Code:
E:failed to mount exfat /dev/block/mmcblk1 /sdcard
E:Can't mount /sdcard/cmupdater/cm-10.1-20130403-NIGHTLY-hercules.zip
Installation aborted.
Is there a way to get it working?
Does it just need an SD card or something?
Bump?
lol nobody has a clue.
I'm not flashing etc. my SXS (or other cells) often, so I may missed some informative posts regarding my problems. Usage of
Report/Log of actions and problems
I tried to fastboot flash openrecovery-twrp-2.8.4.1-LT26i.img and openrecovery-twrp-2.8.5.0-nozomi.img but f2fs was not available and also installing uCyan-12.1-b04.zip gave me errors
Using adb "fastboot flash boot boot_carbon_3-11-14_with_twrp.img" I was able to use the included TWRP 2.8.0 to clean flash (wiped all except sdcard) "uCyan-12.1-b04.zip"
With TWRP 2.8.0 I also was not able to format all partitions except sdcard with f2fs (probably because of the carbon kitkat-kernel?)
(as expected) TWRP 2.8.0 was gone after the flashing
I tried to reinstall TWRP by installing eu.chainfire.supersu-2.46-246-Android-2.1.apk & com.jmz.soft.twrpmanager.apk in uCyan, this gave me errors and FC and then also forced System shutdowns
Vol+ (fastboot, blue light) und adb USB connect seems to not work with uCyan-12.1-b04 for me, but not sure what is the culprit.
I would like to achieve and ask how to do:
install TWRP 2.8.x permanently (into FOTAkernel)
format all partitions except sdcard with f2fs
install uCyan-12.1-b04
all of this possibly without using uCyan (or another ROM) and without App-Installation (Cell offline) so only with TWRP & adb also to make a clean backup of uCyan: is this possible?

According to the first list, You had done most of the stuff correctly. You just didn't have partitions in f2fs and no TWRP, right?
The TWRP in carbon should work with f2fs conversion, but given that You get problems, we will need to go via a kinda lengthy method.
Flash the uCyan-12.1-b04 normally via the recovery.Don't bother flashing gapps or other zips now.
Then to get root, You don't need to install SuperSU. You can do so via Settings> Developer Options> Root option for adb and apps.
Then follow the procedure from here to flash TWRP.
After You have TWRP version 2.8.4.1, then reboot to recovery, now convert needed partitions to f2fs and flash the ROM and gapps!
