Flashing CWM Recovery again? CWM acts weird - Galaxy Tab 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I installed CWM recovery and it was working good.
After installing root, it was hard to get into CWM Recovery.
If I try with Rom Manager to boot into recovery mode - I get just many coloured lines on the screen.
If I boot recovery on start with the button combination, the background is totally weird looking, many colour pixels around.
Can I flash the recovery mode again with Odin?
Does anyone else got this problem with the recovery mode?

Yes, you can flash it again. (I have flashed so many times during testing that my flash count is near 300)
I haven't heard anyone else mention having this problem before.

Can't reboot into recovery - help!

Hi, weird problem - I've flashed the cm_endeavoru-ota-eng.noeri_021 rom, but can't get into Clockwork recovery anymore. The phone just reboots back into the OS every time. I've reflashed the Clockword recovery (5.8.4.0) using the All-in-One Toolkit but same problem.
I've also tried Teamwin recovery but that just gets to the boot screen then reboots too.
Any idea how I can flash and get into a Recovery? Is it a problem with the actual ROM?
Solved, for anyone having a similar problem:
fastboot erase cache
many thanks

[Q] Recovery problems with Legacy ROM 1.05

I can't boot into recovery. "ThePeople'sROM" splash page just hangs forever and never goes into recovery.
Methods I've tried to get into recovery:
"Reboot Recovery" from the Power Button Menu when phone is on.
Volume Down+Camera+Power
Volume Up+Camera+power
Your recovery probably got overwritten And for some strange reason your phone still starts up. Anyway just reflash cwm from odin and you should be golden

Could either use fastboot to get into recovery, or simply Odin CWM/TWRP in again.
Btw, TWRP 2.5 is a tad buggy with UI, so you may want to use CWM.
Thanks
I used ODIN to flash CWM and it worked fine. Thanks a lot.
I couldn't figure out how to install TWRP. Does CWM support MTD roms (which I'm currently running) ?

Booting Clockworkmod Recovery

I used odin to install CWM recovery on SGH-T999 4.1.2 . Then rooted the phone. I also installed Rom Manager with the latest CWM Recovery. I can not get into CWM recovery from either Rom Manager or using the Home/VU/Power buttons combo. It always goes to the Android System Recovery. But if I odin again with no Flags, and pull battery after odin , then I can get into it once by Home/VU/Power. Looks like after 1st boot the other recovery takes over.
I tried removing Rom Manager and installing it , but it did not help. Attahced is the picture of the phone when booting into other Recovery.
Thank you in advance for your help.

I found the fix, when booting in CWM recovery the first time, you have to select YES to over ride the Stock recovery.

[Q] Recovery stuck in bootloop

OK, I was playing with Flashify and tried to install a different recovery. Everything went well but the recovery [TWRP 2.1.8] was just acting funny, so I flashed a different version and since then the recovery mode just bootloops.
Phone boots up just fine except if I go to recovery then I have to battery pull and start my phone from Download Mode.
Any ideas on what I can do to resolve this issue? Possibly an Odin solution I'm assuming.

I would flash a new recovery with odin.
Yeah, I tried that last night and ended up fixing it.

Wont boot into Recovery

hi guys, i cant boot into recovery mode by using the key combination. i have a usb jig and i used it to flash a stock rom. after flashing it wont boot until i wipe data/reset but the thing is i cant get into recovery mode whatsoever. i flashed some custom recoveries like Philz, TWRP, CWM but none booted into the recovery immediately. i have dealt with this before and if i had any luck it would boot into recovery after flashing.
is there any way to fix this problem?
EDIT: I found a way to fix it, I flashed a non working recovery and it failed in odin, then flashed any type of recovery and it worked! If anyone wants the file I'll put it here just comment below, thanks for any of you that reply
i think ur volume buttons are not working.... could be a hardware issue..
