I got this case about two months ago, And have been testing it out ever since. I must say, I have been a fan of the design ever since the Galaxy S. But this time around, I was really disappointed. :crying:
The Quality of the GS3 version is really bad ( I can't stress on that point enough). I have already had it replaced once, And the company took around 20 days to do so. I got the replacement because the case had started peeling. They sent me a replacement case, and after some time, That started peeling too. I have attached some pictures. Steer clear of this case. Thats all I can say right now. Try SGP. They have awesome products.
Pros:
-Not at all Bulky
-A bit of Lay on the table design
-Good for showing off design of the phone
Cons:
-Really bad quality
-No drop protection
-A tad bit expensive.

I have also used case mate before and they used to be amazing.. But now, all barely there's have this problem. This is my second replacement actually.

May I suggest the SGP ultra thin air or the white barely there? That doesn't have the problem.

I found this case made by Rearth...looks similar and keeps a thin profile...

I got it from case mate. Unless they sell fakes themselves I don't think this is fake. They acknowledged this defect.

Same issue on my case mate barely there for galaxy S3. Do you think removing the rubbersized paint (leaving glossy finish) will look good ? Thinking of removing the paint when it gotten worst.

Mine got scratched up in a month :| really ****ty quality for a casemate.now i use the amzer snap-on case with a stand.MUCH better quality and 500 bucks cheaper (indian rupees).

I am also fan of case mate barely there cases, but the quality nowadays got downhill. From this point and time I will never invest on case mate cases. Will just look for other brands slim cases.

Hey everyone I recently received my SupCase Slim Fit Folio case and am pretty impressed. It isn't like super high quality leather but for the price it's pretty much what you would expect. I have the one with the elastic hand strap on the back and also the stylus holder. I really like being able to use the Nexus 7 in bed when laying down, which is where I spend most of my time using the tablet.
The folio features work as advertised and is pretty sturdy. It really is the generic folio we see for every tablet, but that's not a bad thing because everything seems works pretty well. You can actually buy this without the hand strap or with a hand strap and free stylus holder.
Keep in mind though, anyone using the LMT Launcher or something similar may not be able to use it with the case on because the edges of the case go onto the bezels. Also, just so you guys know, I did receive this product from SupCase prior to the release date since I review these products on YouTube.

I don't have a QI Charger, but I don't think so. The Poetic Slimline doesn't work according to Poetic, so I doubt this will.
Is there a camera cutout on the back?

I bought this case via Amazon for a ridiculously cheap $6. It's now $13 so I just got lucky. The Supcase is really nice. Has a high quality look and feel, fits tight and elegantly, and works perfectly. The magnetic auto on off is very quick and flawless. I haven't tested it with wireless charging but instructions said it won't work while device is inside the case. I really like this case nevertheless!

Most cases are made of some weird rubber, either they feel cheap or they get stuck in the jeanspocket.
Some cases look great but they always tend to build so much bulk..

It looks great yeah but 35 dollars is too much for just a case which is why I didn't buy the official one. If it was a battery case for that price or even a little more like 45-50 then it would be worth it for me

With battery cases like this. You will lose a bar or two on cell phone reception as well as wireless. This was the case for the Galaxy S4. I believe you will lose the function of NFC as well.

How protective are aluminum cases though? I feel like TPU/plastic combos would probably protect the best since it absorbs shock better than metal.

Thought they had a $5 off coupon....
Why does that one bottom corner stick out like that? I'm guessing that's how the case clamps together. Seems like it wouldn't feel very nice.
Yeah not bad, but I'm not a fan of Florida sticking out of the corner there. Always making a mess of things!
Also with it being an Aluminum bumper, I'm pretty sure it's aesthetics only. That's a relatively soft metal, especially with how thin is looks. Any real bump and it will probably dent/scratch easily. It's like using a thicker version of the HTC One as a protective case.

I am holding off as well. Even with the screws, not sure if it'd fit in my Seidio holster without scuffing the crap out of it. However whenever I visit this thread and look online at the pics, it seems unbalanced to me because of the screws.
Waiting for feedback on the aluminum bumper. I'm interested to find out if the bumper keep the back of the phone off of surfaces. It looks like it wouldn't protect the back of the phone at all.

Hi there. Just curious if you've received this case yet. This looks like the exact case I may be looking for. Something around the same size, but better quality than the Poetic Slimline/Moko Ultra Slim. I'm curious if it stays closed using magnets like the Poetic/Moko. I've been reading, but it doesn't say anywhere.
Edit: NEVERMIND. I found the answer shortly after posting this. Unfortunately, it doesn't stay closed with any mechanism. Deal breaker for me. Thanks for the heads up though.

Yeah, mine is set to arrive tomorrow. I'll try to make a short video when it arrives. Good to know about the screen lock. I know it does have sleep/wake, and the screen staying close isn't a deal breaker for me personally, but I understand where it could be.
