It's only for Sense. The settings data was from a GPE rom so you should be fine.

Yeah just reset all my settings. Does it do anything else?

Didn't know it'd do that. I got the data from a fresh GPE install so that's probably why.

Nice job bro!
what if I don't use TitiBU?
can I still use it? without having to install titBU or how should I approach this if I say wanted to add to my ROM without having to add TiBU?
thank again homie!

Replacing the SettingsProvider.apk keeps my phone from booting. Anyone know where this apk stores data? I would be able to extract it and post it.

Anything removed is in Aroma, unless found on play store, these apps can be simply added back through Aroma, even after you installed the ROM.. you can choose MOD only and pick the .apk(s) needed, and doesn't touch user data.

Another way of getting this is to add the toggle. This will allow you those extra settings. Of coarse it's not as nice as having the true settings in settings.apk, but it work.

Can't get it to work without titanium. I'll work on it more over the weekend. In the mean time, use what I posted in the OP.

did you see it's able to be added by changing a value from 1 to 0 in deafult.xml CID?

Need someone to test my CM10.1 build

Hi i just setup a fresh build environment in ubuntu 13.04, and i wanted to make sure everything was working so i decided to build for an officially supported device rather than mine (which is unsupported). I synced the CM10.1 repo (today) and compiled. I have made no changes...its just stock CM10.1.
If someone with some free time could try this out to make sure it boots and nothing seems weird, that would be awesome. I just want to confirm that ive got the basics down, before i start to build for unsupported devices.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks. Im pretty sure it wont brick your phone.
It compiled perfectly with no errors, so it should work fine. And like i said its just cm10.1 with no changes. :good:
Just be sure to make a nandroid first, and then after trying the rom, restore it.

[Q][Need Help] Phone Won't Boot Past Splash Screen

So I was running Slimbean 6.2 weekly with ktoonez 6.8 kernel and decided to go into recovery (CWM Touch 6.0.3) to fix permissions and clear cache since I was having some battery drain issues. After I hit fix permissions it started to do so and then all of a sudden my phone rebooted and gets stuck at the splash screen. Went back into recovery to try and fix permissions again same thing happens. Tried clearing cache and doing a normal reboot still stuck at splash screen. I tried doing a factory reset but it keeps rebooting right when it gets to formatting data. So essentially I can do anything aside from format data so I am guessing there's some corrupt file there that's keeping me from formatting it. I've tried installing different ROM's that I have on my SD card but they always get stuck at the splash screen. Doing a restore doesn't work as once it gets to restoring data the phone reboots. I checked report error or something along those lines in CWM Advanced and it said can't format /emmc which I'm not sure what that means.
I've looked around but haven't been able to find any information on how to fix this. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Ok go into CWM wipe cache, wipe dalvik and do factory reset. Then flash any rom which you have on your phone storage. Does this work?

Even better, download one of the Odin 1-clicks. Connect your phone, open the 1-click and stand back while it does its magic.
EDIT: Here http://rwilco12.com/Files/Devices/S...ooted/SPH-L710_MD4_1130792_Rooted_Restore.exe

[Q] Screwed Up My HTC One M8 ! Need Help Please!

hello everyone, i recently bought a new htc one m8 .
Locked to Wind.
Now i rooted the phone, enabled s-off and unlocked it.
2 days later i downloaded titanium and accidentally deleted something i dont know what,
the phone worked properly still except i couldnt access settings, every time i clicked settings it would back me out. So me being the noob I am restored the phone, and that didnt work. So now I have a HTC One that cant go into settings.
I tried several tutorials telling me to flash the original stock rom onto it except I cant access USB Debugging since i cant access settings.
So am I screwed or is there anything I can do?
Would really appreciate any help?

I quoted you by mistake. Also when the op says he restored his phone I assume he means factory reset which will not restore anything deleted from the system partition. There's no reason why flashing a backup won't work unless he's done something to the partitions. He's S—off , boot loader unlocked so can't see why it wouldn't work if he uses the appropriate backup.

At&t SGH-I317 bootloop (I think)

Ive been having trouble with my note 2 after I updated to kitkat. When I try restarting my phone i get stuck at the samsung note 2 screen (its the first screen u see as soon as you turn the device on. I cannot access samsung recovery but i can access download mode. Is there any thing I can do to fix this problem.
