Okay so here it is Sense 5 JB 4.1.2.
This is my first successful (thanks to Jmz)!
To install first do a backup. Then do a full wipe data, dalvik, cache.
Flash rom zip from recovery also i put supersu.zip on here as well flash it or one of your choice after rom. The one in the rom was not working upon my first boot.
Thanks goes to ZenROM5 and Jmz for use of their roms for porting.
And also to Jmz for fixing the major bugs I had !
what i know is not working...
bluetooth
Gps

I don't think anyone is even going to bother touching/testing this. No sound...no phone...no point.
Kudos though. Hopefully you can get it to a somewhat working state.
Replace all RIL related files for telephony.
Audio might be libhtc_acoustic.so.

Ok well i have been working on it for last two days i have changed all the libs in lib folder that are ril also have tried the libhtc_acoustic.so that put me in a bootloop. I work on the build prop changed all the ro.ril... to match base also changed all the carrier settings to match is still boot fine but still no service. Even took sim out and put it back in. I am stumped. i will try some more later.
****All Files I Suggest Take From Official Sense 4+, It's All The Latest Updated Files From HTC****
My suggestion on Sense 5, I do not own the device but I've done many ports and simply never had an audio issue....
Take the list of files I'm about to name from 4+ and add them to sense 5 for .
__Audio__
- /system/etc/AudioBTID.csv
- /system/etc/snd_soc_msm
- /system/etc/soundimage
- /system/etc/sound_mfg.txt
- /system/etc/sound_mfg_DMIC.txt
- /system/lib/libacdbloader.so
- /system/lib/libaudcal.so
- /system/lib/libaudioeffect_jni.so
- /system/lib/libaudioflinger.so
- /system/lib/libhtc_acoustic.so
Now I ain't 100% sure what chipset the HTC One VX is but if you know the relative files these are comparing too then you'll know the 3 files needed
- /system/lib/hw/audio.a2dp.default.so
- /system/lib/hw/audio.primary.msm8960.so
- /system/lib/hw/audio_policy.default.so
i changed these
EDIT :
__RIL/Services__
And if anything you can add 4+ build.prop to sense 5 and the proper RIL files and maybe you can get services from AT&T... But if you manage getting services working again, you have to carefully update the 4+ build.prop to sense 5 stuff.
__Camera__
Camera should work longs you included official sense 4+ boot.img and proper files from official sense 4 +
- /system/lib/hw/
- /system/lib/modules/
- boot.img ( official sense 4+ )
It's just adding official sense 4+ jb 4.1.1 files...... All sense 4+ jb 4.1.1 files will work for all 4.1.1 based roms and 4.1.2 based roms

No problem, hope this helps.... One question about services from AT&T ... Do you get the insert SIM logo in status bar. If not try my sevices fix and if that don't work contact turge because you might have to edit a file in /system/framework/ and he's the only one that knows how to edit framework files good.

Port from Desire 601 when theres a dump, you'll get Zoe since your camera supports it (Since it's 5 MP)
use stuff from other dumps aswell, like try using audio from Desire 500 as aazzam16661 suggested.

You can try this modded apk, should work for both stock & custom ROM as you can install it as a normal apk, so easily can be uninstall if you don't like it.

I selected English and got the same issue. It keeps sending me to a blank screen with the next button and then shoots me back into Language select after offering to send data to HTC for a crash. The first time I got through I had to allow system access to the superuser as well.
First screen, second screen, blank screen (hit next a whole bunch of times), back to first screen. Repeat ad infinitum.

[ROM][Build 4][2/27/2013][Beta][Need People To Test Speed & Battery][Fully Working]
Hello everyone, I'm a dev over at the Droid DNA and I'm working on porting my rom over to this device. I don't want to make it an official rom just yet since it's a blind port (yeah I don't have this device ) but I would really appreciate it if some people could help me out. Its Based Off 3.14 and is a Sense 4+ Rom
Here's the link to the original rom thread if any of you are interested in checking out what will be included: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2111723
You can download the latest test build right here: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=9390334956548391202
also use the kernel of your choice when you flash this. You have to get one, i recommend trying this one

Anyone can jump in and contribute to this! It's very much appreciated too

i click save logs but cannot find the logs after reboot (i looked in the download folder and other places)

the one x uses 720 x 1280 pixels whilst your evo 4g uses 800×480 (i have tried some skins from the 4g they install but can't be used) might that be the problem..?

the kernel should flash for you if you flash the rom, but if the rom doesn't boot try flashing this kernel in fastboot
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=9390331926465741046
i try this.
First off let me say, I am not responsible for any damage this may cause to your phone you are flashing at YOUR OWN RISK.
that being said, this is a cooked ROM of the newest hboot on Virgin Mobile, it includes a kernel that you will need to fast boot flash.
features
deodexed
zip aligned
includes all sense 4 skins from HTC hub.
includes root browser free and go backup.
I may update this ROM if I feel the need, of course it would only be to add widgets and HTC apps from my old wildfire s that can't be found here.
only use if you are stuck on the newest hboot, my sister and I have both tested it and she's been using it for the past month.
IMPORTANT UPDATE
I had trouble uploading the complete but I have added a kernel download that should boot any sense backup or rom based on stock. remember to flash at your own risk.
if you wanna report bugs or anything feel free.

demi_fiend.... I'm not sure if this information is worth posting a new thread so I'm posting it here.
I personally am on the updated hboot1.57 and radio .0928.
I have also personally tested all Sense ROMs in the CDMA thread with the OTA hboot and radio.
This is my conclusion.
THEY ALL WORK!!!.
All you have to do is keep the original ( stock ) kernel. DO NOT FASTBOOT FLASH..... Everything works except WiFi.
Here's how to fix that. Make a copy of the WiFi modules in your stock ROM. You can find them in /system/lib/modules.
Save the copy some where on your sdcard. Now pick the SENCE ROM of your liking and flash it in recovery. Boot the ROM and install a root explorer of your choice. Now open the root explorer, find the modules and copy them, carry them to /system/lib/modules and paste. Now refresh the page where you paysted them and set the permissions to rw-r-r- on all 4 the modules that you pasted and reboot.
Now every thing in the SENSE ROM that you flashed should work just like it would on the old radio
Only thing that you can't do is over clock
Because of the stock kernel.
Hopefully this helps the guys/girls now on the OTA updated hboot and radio

Simon posted a kernel in this thread that supports the new hboot+radio and I assume/hope also would support overclocking. The one he posted is for AOSP-based ROMs, but I have updated it per his instructions so that it should work with Sense-based ones. Only thing I am unsure of at the moment is what modules would be needed (stock ones from the RUU or the ones from the old Sick v0.6 file). If I can find that out I can upload a zip that would have the updated kernel and flash the modules in recovery.
I'm sure you would need modules from the OTA stock ROM . Not the ones from the older radio.
There is no RUU for the OTA hboot/radio.
I have the modules if you would like a copy

Well that sucks. Now I wonder if there's a difference in the RAMDISK used? I used the one from boot.img in the FOTA with the new hboot, but I wonder if I use the one from Simon's v0.6 it would yield a different result.

Ok got a new attempt. I am not sure if all 4 of the module files are needed or just the 1 that I have. I included the module inside the kernel ramdisk so you might (hopefully) not need to copy the modules. However, in case you do, I have the module attached in a flashable zip. Let me know your results and if you had to copy any (or all) of the modules.
Got them........ Will test today....there is a big difference in size. The stock OTA boot img is 4.0mb and the one downloaded is 2.9mb..... Don't know if it makes a difference. But I will try once I get to a computer @ work
I've started to port Sense 4.1 lite from HTC Desire X 1.18.401.1 to our phone. I've been following this guide to port it, but when booting I always get a blackscreen and it doesn't do anything =/. I can't enable ADB, even though I've added persist.service adb.enable line in the build.prop. I know that it generates things in the data partition, because the ADB in recovery shows it. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this working?

I've started to port Sense 4.1 lite from HTC Desire X 1.18.401.1 to our phone. I've been following this guide to port it, but when booting I always get a blackscreen and it doesn't do anything =/. I can't enable ADB, even though I've added persist.service adb.enable line in the build.prop. I know that it generates things in the data partition, because the ADB in recovery shows it. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this working?

Waiting for your Android 4.0.4 Sense 4.1 :good:
Well I managed to get it to show Boot animation, I edited the build.prop.
I still can't get a logcat, I tried to make an init.d script to logcat a file to the sdcard, but that didn't want to work.
I'm using my own guide now, but no matter what I do it doesn't boot.. anyone else able to help?
I've also switched base to Asia HK 2.24.708.1, it isn't much different from the telus_wwe base I was using.
That thread your using wont work for Sense. You have to use Rom Kitchen Porting. I managed to get the Desire X 1.14.401.1 working but the camera didn't. And it was real slow. I've been trying the same. I've had a bunch of working ones, they just sucked.

I don't use that thread anymore to port. Link me to the ROM kitchen porting? Oh, and for camera:
libchromatix*.so
LibOlaEngine.so
LibOlaEngineNew.so
libhtccamera.so
liboemcamera.so
libcamera*.so
libmm*.so
In /system/etc:
media_profiles.xml

I don't know of a guide. Its pretty self explanatory in Rom Kitchen using its porting tool. Maybe I could give it a try and upload a base for you.

I'm going to try using the kitchen porter.. just downloaded the master from github, just waiting for 1.18.401.1 from DX to finish downloading.
Delete- figured it out!
I used the android kitchen to port it, I can't get it to boot now. Does anyone have any ideas? (Sorry for all the double posts ._.)

Yeah I've been trying without luck as well. It probably has to do with different screen size, symlinks and or 4.03 as base. Ill mess around for a bit. I'm not sure if your just trying to get 4.04. I managed to port Desire S 4.0.4 but it was slow and the camera didn't work as I said.

I got http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2006392 working. For myself. Thats the one I had problems with though. You need to gut a lot of stuff out of it. And I don't know if he would allow public porting or not. If you want help we could do it together. I still have a booting rom from that. I know a bit more now so I think I could do it better.

Yeah, I've also got my own method of porting that doesn't require a lot of gutting and produces a working ROM. It just doesn't work for Desire X sense ports..
