Hello, I got some problems syncing my songs to offline with Google Play Music, I don't know if this is a Nexus 7 problem or not, eitherway, I got no problems syncing with my phone (HTC Desire HD) (both on the same wifi)
Checklist:
1. Only 3-4 devices on device list
2. Wiped data, cache, dalvik
3. Tried downloading the latest gapps
Anything else I can do? Because I don't understand why I have problems downloading or playing songs.
It's rooted, but with stock image
Flash SU binaries and it kinda fixed it, got to download like 2-4 playlists
Stuck again... Can't download, nor play songs...

Hi guys! I'm having problems with the market for a week now. Some apps just won't update, or install. For instance; Layar and LinkedIn, I just updated a few minutes ago. Cordy and Stupid Zombies, I've been trying to update them for a few days. It downloads them, then says it can't install them. Now the last two apps are installed on my SD-card, first two aren't. However, when I transfer Stupid Zombies to my phone memory, same thing. So the problem probably doesn't lie with the SD-card, as doing other things on my SD-card gives no problems.
I still have enough memory left to install the apps, 722MB on my phone, 6,4GB on the SD-card.
What have I tried?
Reboot
Deinstall app, install it again. That failed horribly, I can't install the Pinball game anymore
Clear Market cache
Clear Market cache & force close
Take out the SD-card, put it back in + reboot
Try to download via 3G instead of Wifi
Someone told me to try and log in to Google Talk, as it is somehow linked to the market
Logging into the Market from my phone browser
Is there anything else I can do before resorting to a factory reset? I'm on a non-rooted, stock 1.72 Desire HD.
I've the same problem, i try the factory reset also didn't work...
What happened when you went to recovery -> Advanced -> Clear Dalvik-cache?
I am unable to install apps from the market. I can access the market and select the apps but all I get is starting downloads which doesn't change even if I leave for hours. I have WI-FI enabled and can access the web with no problems. Here is what I have tried already.
Clear Data in Downloader,
Clear Data and Cache in market
Factory reset
Flashed to CyanogenMod 7
and I still cannot download any apps.
If you have s-off you could try deleting the market.apk file and then reinstalling from a non market source? If you search xda I'm sure I remember several threads about this.
I had this problem a few times. Have you recently changed your Gmail (If you use Gmail) address from @googlemail to @gmail? This is what caused the problem for me and many others...

I never did work out what was causing the problem. I installed CyanogenMod 7 and all is work again.
Yea, sometimes just a reflash fixes the problem. I also found that, sometimes, the download would just finish but never actually install - almost as if the .apk downloaded but the Market Process just never actioned the new .apk to open, so it just sat in /cache until the next reboot, doing nothing.
log in to google talk...i think that should solve the issue.
Hello, today my One X have a weird problem.
Almost all my music files can't be played by the default music player (VLC instead works without problems).
Today I did those things:
Used MTP storage of my One X with Ubuntu (created a folder and copied a picture)
Uninstalled HTC Locations
Installed Music Hero (game) (it can't play my songs.. So I dunno if it broken that or if my songs was already broken when I've installed it)
And... in my picture gallery few images are not ok, I see a triangle with a "!" instead of that.
I already tried to re-copy all my music collection but the problem still..
Can someone help me? Thank you
edit: I've restored an old recovery backup but the problem isn't fixed..
Try restarting the phone or connecting / disconecting it from the USB plugged to the PC/mac , had similar issues few times, sometimes player or gallery can't show anything, like there isn't any files lol. Anyway those 2 fixed things for me. Good luck with yours =)
There's been times when my files haven't worked until I reboot the phone after putting them on the SD card.

I tried to wipe the sdcard but without success.. the problem still.
So I wiped all and installed the new version of maXimus ROM, now all works good.
Does anyone know why playlists empty after a ROM flash? How to prevent it?
So here is the story:
- I have playlists with songs in them
- I flash a new version of a ROM (wipe cache & dalvik).
- playlists are still there but are empty
- MP3s at still there as well

I have somehow similar problem, so maybe instead creating another thread I will hook up on this one.
So I use latest (5.04?) version of 4.4.2 AOSP by slv96 and Google Play Music. I've discovered that everyday my Music Libary is resetting, so I have my playlists but they're empty, and 'Liked' playlist is gone aswell. I'm wondering what's causing this to happen.
Hello guys, this is my first post so if there's something wrong I apologize.
Well, I installed this http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...cyanogenmod-12-alpha-1-n7100-t2949644/page785 following the flash instructions. Everything was working fine, till now.
First, when I connect my phone on my computer, it doesn't show every file I have. This started like half an hour ago (I installed the rom yesterday).
If connected as Camera, it only shows internal storage. If connected as media device, it shows internal and sd, but on sd just show 2 folders (out of 10).
In file manager (on cellphone), I can see everything.
I didn't change anything that could cause this. I already tried cleaning data of media storage, rebooting, unmounting and mounting sd, nothing worked.
Second, when I was using stock rom, I used MX player and could see some videos that are on my sd. Now with CM12.1, there are some that I can't. It says HW decoder is not supported, and in SW mode it hasn't audio. Is there some incompatibility known with some video formats?
Another thing is that Google play services keeps stopping, but that doesn't really bothers me
Can somebody tell me something to do?
Thanks
