Hi,
I know this is rather a unnecessary question, but I have always wondered why the Galaxy S4 forum/device is named "Galaxy S 4". S4 with a space inbetween? Was this just an accident or has it any deeper meaning?

The name doesn't have any space. I mean at boot says, Galaxy S4 i9500/9505, on the box same. Probably some confusion because of the "S" shape/size.

Still: This device is correctly named like this: "Galaxy S4". Between "S" and "4" is no space. On here it is. I can't imagine why
It is a little confusing if you search for "S4" or if you type "S4" into the Type To Find Your Device field.

All of our Galaxy S * forums have a space. Galaxy S II and Galaxy S III are the same. There's nothing special going on. It's the same with anything. If it's a new revision, it has a space.

Hi Scotsman, when looking at Samsung's US website they are actually putting a space between "S" and "4". But if you look at the European websites, in UK or Germany, you can clearly see that there is no space.
Looking at this banner: http://goo.gl/8126jR you see the S4 is promoted without a space.
I think that is what confused me, in Europe ppl are just used to the "S4" without any space. This is different with "Nexus 7" or "Galaxy Note 3", but "S4" does really feel like an stand alone name, which "S 4" indeed does not reflect.

That release date blows. Where did you get that information? I haven't been able to find anything.
And yes my post is jumping the gun a little. Just needed somewhere we could start drooling without bugging everyone in the Galaxy S2 forums.
Wicked phone! I want one asap!
Ran over to AT&T to check out the Infuse and it's Supoer Amoled+ 4.5" screen. Looks pretty good. Typical AA issue with text when zoomed waaay out on a web site... but that could easily be fixed with root and lcd density change. Colors were amazing. Made my HD2 look horribly bland and washed out.
Love EVERYTHING about this phone (assuming specs correct) except the 800x480. Once again... lcd density. Will definitely spec out the Sensation to see how qHD looks but I don't like other things about it.

They show 1.5Ghz Qualcomm APQ8060 dual-core CPU there. Interesting.
This is why I semi joked about needing a dedicated forum.... so we can gossip. But I agree it's a little early.

Does anyone know if it's possible to use the screen from an i9023 phone on an i9020? I have a broken screen on a 9020, and the 9023 are quite a bit cheaper than the 9020 ones. For the intended use, I don't mind about the screen differences (AMOLED, LCD).

If you know this has nothing to do with the S3, but rather the HTC One V, post it in it's proper place.
Your review is very subjective. When talk about speed, you say it's slow, but slow compared to what? Use numbers, benchmarks would help, especially 3 month from now, when a new generation of phones come out.
your review also focuses on the superficial. I know you are a teenager, because you say it, but don't make your review sound like a 12 year old boy who only cares about how "cool" something looks. What about battery life? How loud the phone is? Reception? Storage size? All those would play in to how a phone can be "used".

But I do agree that this is in the wrong place and should be in at the very least an HTC One variant forum. I understand why you put it here (being that you are an SGS3 user-probably should have put that in your OP) and are just wanting peer review. Best place to get peer review on a product is probably that product's forum.
I'm not the Mod for this section but you can request the thread moved, otherwise you might get more of the same responses.

I get it, it is very difficult for one with your intelligence to realize that when you review a htc one v device that should be posted on the htc one v forum and not on the samsung galaxy s3 forum...huh not sure, maybe these two names sound very similar to you probably

Yes, you can make this review a lot better by writing something about the phone. IMO even temple run does not run on the stock rom. Also, sense is much better than touchwiz.

This is the One V forum, and the thread is posted in the One V general sub-forum, so unless this was already moved I don't see what the problem is. I have noticed that every defect or bug being discussed by a new thread is being deleted. You will not notice any thread that have a title against Samsung being available. Even though I was aware of many in the first. Is this true or is it speculations? Were those threads deleted by authors themselves? I really don't have an answer. So, what do you guys think?

I been running thunderrom800 for a while now with no problems but unistalled all bloatware and used nova launcher as i cant stand touchwiz! My delivery driver messed it up i had to go to the depot and pick it up myself after waiting like a week!

that's cool. how do I know what variant i will have? i have seen posts regarding 705s, 800s 805s etc. Mines from o2 its the 4g one with 16gb and 10.5 inch screen.
I take it that using a different launcher is sufficient to reduce a lot of this lag?
My delivery driver will be burnt at the stake if he messes up muahahaha

Sorry. I meant no offence. But yes, it's troll food. There are a lot of anti Samsung users on the M8 forum.
And on XDA in general. Most Samsung owners here own them for the specs, and flash AOSP ROMs. Just sayin....

Yes, it has changed since the Note 2 days. On 2014 devices (Galaxy S5 and Tab Pro lines, that I know about) TouchWiz is a laggy mess. Most attribute it to the UX Magazine interface.
