Bluetooth media issue. - LG Optimus G Pro

I am on stock ROM rooted and I have an issue. Bluetooth only works for calls but not for any type of media no matter if Pandora Slacker and so on or YouTube Vevo Video and so on. Also NFC won't work because it uses Bluetooth as well. So does anyone has an idea what is going on or has a fix for that? Thanks.

streaming to Xbox360 UPnP apps

I have run into an frustrating issue as of late regarding streaming music from my s3 through my xbox using the built in music player. What is happening is the music player will randomly pause while streaming, requiring me to press the play button to get it going again. This is not being caused by incoming messages or calls. I don't have voice enabled. Keep wifi on is also enabled.
Strong wifi signal through entire home. Running frosty Jb v7.
If it's a player issue whats the best alternative? I tried a few from the play store 2player, bubble UPnp, poweramp , winamp. They either have ****ty interfaces or act just as wonky.
Maybe I am just not understanding the tech of it. I turn the xbox, tv and stereo on. Then push the icon on my music player(see attached photo) and it starts streaming through the xbox. I thought it was pretty slick until it started acting up on me.
I'm getting the same thing. Happens more often when I put the phone on shuffle.

Possibly a custom kernel issue? No idea, just a thought. I know they can cause things to not work properly sometimes.
Was on stock. Good thought though.

I tried bubble UPnP for a while.. didnt like the interface to begin with.. I want to go to artist then sort through various albums. It did work however until the program itself began freezing up and not retrieving my files. So that was a no go.
I am stock. Am I able to stream music as well? Or do I need a particular rom ...Assuming you guys figure this out.

I did it on stock very easy. If you have Xbox, as long as it's on, your good. If you are watching Netflix, it will stop what you are watching. You have to use a stock samsung app. I just go through my gallery, find a pic or a movie, choose it, and there is an option which looks like a monitor with a couple of hornizontal arrows going through it. This doesn't work for streaming something on a website or whatever. If it is a file already saved to your phone it will work. All you have to do is go to the picture, or start playing the video, tap the screen and on the top you will find that different icon. Again, you have to have your Xbox ON or it won't show the icon. For Xbox it is cool because you could start watching the video or pic on your phone and want to say to everyone, HEY< WATCH THIS! and with one click it goes.
You can also connect it to work with PS3 but it only works as a media server. Meaning, with Xbox, you can decide, hey, I want to watch this on the Xbox now! With PS3, you have to search for the file and THEN, play it. It's not such an immediate action.

Streaming media from computer to phone without wifi

So my basic problem is that I have a lot of media on my home desktop. It's a home built machine that has no sounds and runs windows xp
I have no problem streaming video over wifi. Everything works absolutely fine that way.
What I want to know is how to open media that's on my computer from a remote location (using a separate wifi network)
I'm currently using team viewer for remote access and it works for many things but it doesn't allow me to stream video to my phone. It allows me to play video on my computer and to view it but this is useless without sound
I'm considering trying to make a vpn but I'm not very computer literate.
Any suggestions?

No such thing has been done yet to my understanding, you can only stream over a WI-FI network so far

I think I might have found a solution and I feel sort of like an idiot. I'll test it out tonight and see if it works.

splashtop remote transmits sound
I'm trying the emit app it seems to work but I'll have to try it at work. As I said I feel dumb finding this a few hours after posting
I do seem to experience a lot of lag on videos so I guess that's my next problem to fix.

Emit works fine over the net (both on my own wifi and using my cell phones Ltd or other computers on different networks)
However lag when using it over cell broadcast is pretty bad and I'm trying to find a way to improve it

Go groove flex smart advanced(devils reject)

Hello. I bought a Go Groove flexsmart Bluetooth FM transmitter. It has controls to change next track pause etc while streaming via Bluetooth. When I first purchased it interacted with my S3 fully. I cannot remember if the controls stopped working after I flashed a ROM. (Devils reject v5). However if its based off of att stock ROM and using stock kernel shouldnt it still work? I can't skip tracks anymore and its kind of annoying regardless of what music player I use. Anyway any help or similar posts are welcome.

are there any known bluetooth issues with that ROM that may be affecting this? i'm assuming you have already notified/inquired about this in the devils rejects thread
Nope I searched the thread for the ROM and none came up. I also inquired and didn't receive a response.

[Q] A2DP doesn't work?

I use my LGOG as my music player via bluetooth with my car but A2DP function doesn't work on any music player except stock LG player which I don't have it anymore since I'm using rootbox rom now.
I can still play songs but it doesn't stream ID3 tags to car stereo.
Is there anyway make it work?
