Samsung-Addon TouchWiz UX update 1.4 for Team Nyx RC5 (4.0.4)

Hallo!
After a long wait.... RC5 from Team Nyx (previously Team ICSGS) has been released! yeah!
I would like to know if anyone has successfully installed and used the Samsung Addon Touchwiz UX 1.4 from the thread on RC5?
If RC5 states it is a AOSP-build, would that naturally mean that if the Addon was designed to work on CM9/AOKP, it would be able to work on RC5?

I certainly think that the combination of TW and the quality of RC5 would make an awesome ROM..

I tried them buddy they are not perfect and double some apps and also change some apps like settings is changed to CM9 settings app

If. There just img or what ever files try downloading a icon changer from the market and using the files to change them with or try a Google search there's so many threads about it it will probably come up xda forums first result and just find which one works for you did the launcher work for you okay? When I put my phone on ics I loved it

that pack doesnt work because it change your system ui apk and framework-res.apk...i have made that pack to work on my cm7 to samsunganised my cm7...all you have to do is delete those elements which can cause issue,,,lemme open that pack and tell you what to delete to make it works on what ever ICS rom...
do this:
1)open that download zip
2)go to morph->system->app->
3)delete setting and system ui folder..
4)now go to morph->system-> and delete framework folder
5)try installing it now...it will work...

Hello!
This is Vicino's Animation that he made for Xylon Rom. (Just the Framework Animation. Nothing else.)
I've made it into a Zipthemer package so others can enjoy it as i do.
It is tested on Maguro: Xylon, Xenon Hd Stable-1, CM 10.1, PA 2.99 Beta 9

I've put it in root of sdcard and then tried to flash it.

Download zipthemer from the play store and use zipthemer to build the framework animation.zip into a flashable zip for you.

Thanks for this. Worked as intended on xylon 14 latest beta.
Btw, have you ask vicino's permission? As i remember, he doesn't permit anyone to make zipthemer version of his animation.

Confirm. Has the same problem too.
I think it's the problem of this mod, `cuz when I've apllied Xylon framework animation it worked fine for me as well as for others

Have you use the good edify in ZipThemer ?

You have to update the edify from the zipthemer menu.

for those getting install failed in twrp or so ...use zipthemer > menu>update edify>browse and select a zip rom or kernel or what u already have on storage and then press configure and voilla...rebuild package and you are good to go

Will this only work with maguro? Or since it's zipthemer will it work on toro as well?

It should work. I can not test it since i do not own a toro, but the beauty of ZipThemer is that when it creates an update package for you to install it also creates an undo package as well. So... You can try to see if it works. If not, the undo zip restores your framework to it's original state. If you try it and it works, please share your feedback... Cheers!

Tested and works great on BENZ 4.0 DEODEXED.should work on all jb deodexed phone.
To install it, download the apk from the attachments and push it with root explorer to system/apps.set permissons
reboot.

It also works for any odexed ROM but you need to make one additional step: delete AccuweatherWidget.odex file

Delete AccuweatherWidget.odex, as I posted above.
And then reboot your phone

Can we only install this apk, because I tried the 50% transparency one and the installation failed?

Is it possible to open clock app when tap on clock in the widget instead of weather main app?

Always get the same error:
Im running benz v3 on my device.
Hope u guys can tell me the problem.

I tried your 24 dpi mod for 3.6.7 and it broke location services for the Russian MIUI port here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2313073
According to the OP any navbar mods for the "unofficial official" 3.6.7 build would screw up the fix he made to get location services stable.
I was wondering if you would possibly make a 24 dpi mod flashable zip with my framework-res?
I tried decompiling and recompiling with apktool last night and everything I tried would hang at the bootscreen.
I understand if you don't have the time to make a custom one for me, so if anything I'm willing to try making my own again if you could perhaps clue me in to what I might have done wrong?
Anyway, here's my framework-res attached.

Anyway im not understanding why you use a nexus 4 port from galaxy nexus when there is already a "true" nexus4 multilanguage build available ?!

There were certain things that just didn't work right, even after fiddling with it, such as Google sync in the gallery and contacts.
Also, I had issues with my exchange account on the "official" build and I rely on that for work.

I was able to get my apktool situation worked out by downloading the version someone linked in the GNex thread... so I whipped this up for myself today when I updated to v3.6.13.
It is the 36dpi version for 3.6.13.
Again, all thanks/credit goes to the OP as I'm using his zip... all I did was modify the framework-res for 3.6.13.

No I think the are not compatible since Your 3.6.15 ROM is a port.

There is no LGCamera.apk for Optimus G stock. There is CameraApp3.apk and there is also CameraTestApp.apk. I just deleted CameraApp3.apk and flashed the zip. Getting a force close on the Camera. I'm on Epsilon v3(Deodexed stock based) (I also cleared data for the Camera and Gallery apps, still no go) (Also got rid of CameraTestApp.apk, too, but still a no go.)

The one for CM10.1 should also work for 10.2 as well..

Seems like most stuff works pretty well.
I don't think hdr mode works (I can't tell any difference when turning that mode on)
Processing a VR panorama (photo sphere) force closes the app though.
It puts the pics in a folder called 100LgDSC but I think that is a known matter.
