Hi there,
i rooted my G3 using Towelroot and all worked fine.
Today i installed the actual Version Xposed Framework and after rebooting it entered a Bootloop.
So i tried to Hard Reset my G3 but when i confirm it the Android with the Gaers show up for a second and then my G3 keeps showing the LG Logo for a few Minutes till i disassamble the Battery.
Next step i try is to flash a firmware in Download mode, but i cant get the Drivers to work... =(
Someone have some hints for me?

Have you choosen ART modality?
If i would say "what the hell is that" ... would u slap me?
No.. i dont have chosen that..
Bigger problem is that i dont get any usb driver working for firmware update in Download mode.. =(
OK... i managed to get the drivers working.
But further Problem ist now that im not able to flash anything on my device...
Neither the TOT Method, nor updating with the Original LG Support Tool is working...
Support Tool tells me my Model Number and that my Version is most actual.
If i update anyway it stucks at 4% and tell me it cant connect.
TOT Tool tells me that my Version Number is not correct... but it is..
With the KDZ Update Tool it stucks at 4% like the Original method.
Same problem here
Any one can help us?
Solution
Hi there,
the Problem was my PC...
I was on a Windows 8.1 64bit.
Switched to a Win7-PC and all is working fine.
You should try to use the Original LG cable, or another "Original" Cable and connect it to a USB-Port on the Back of your PC (directly to the Mainboard)
On a blank Win 7:
- I installed the LG PC Suite
- Updated the PC Suite
- Connected my LG in Download Mode
- Let the PC install all drivers,
- Disconnected the Phone
- Downloaded the actual LG Mobile Support Tool
- Let the Support tool do the work
After this i got my first OTA Update and its working like a charme
Hi, i don't know what happened. I had CM 12 installed but then wanted to try Miui v6 so i downloaded it and flashed it but accidentally uninstalled gapps and WilKernel so the phone kept booting back to recovery without being able to flash any roms. So i followed this thread that told me to flash TWRP 2.6 and that it worked with any recovery ( I had 2.8 ) and now there's nothing that happens. I turn on my phone and and it stays on the LG logo. Can't get into download mode or anything and i'm scared to death right now since this is not my phone. Someone please help me !!

Are you sure you can't get into download mode? Have you tried pulling out the battery and wait for a while before trying again?
I actually unbricked it with LG flash tool, the only problem now is that it's stuck on JB..
Hello Guys, I tried to flash sling v3.2 but after flashing it i got on the aroma installer "symlinks error" after rebooting my phone it was stuck in lg logo : "secure booting failed" then it shows a black screen with on-screen buttons.
After that, I flashed Teenybins .bin fix and now the phone has download mode and recovery mode i tried the softbrick guide in the forums but still no luck
Please any help will be appreciated thanks
Update: Now my phone is not booting up (not even getting into fastboot/recovery) and when i hold the power button or hold vol- and power button the phone blinks a red led and then no response plz respond guys!!!
Try to charge it a bit. Maybe its completely empty. But use a charger that can output more than 1.5A
Sent from my Optimus G using XDA Free mobile app
flash stock rom. lg flashtool 2014 should work but if im remember u have to disconnect internet in one step..
or try artmod locked bootloader version (locked bootloader kernel)
Ur actually status:
u have locked bootloader with a rom which is not booting. now u can flash artmod and locked bl kernel (look at thread) over adb sideload. so u will not loosing ur files if u havent wiped sdcart (internal storage)
or if u have no important files, flash stock. theres also a flasher with option to wipe or not. u can it also try with them...
Unbelievable!!!!!!
My phone was hard bricked and I fixed it!!!! I'm going to post a guide
Hi there. I've used a program called auto rec for lollipop , it installed twrp , i've turned off phone to go to recovery after it , and after that turning off , it wont turn on again. I tried charging it , download mode , everything. Phone just doesnt start up. One and only good sign is that my pc detects it as LG phone when i connect it to PC , and installs it's drivers. Any help is very wellcome , as im very scared and frustrated over here.
hey guys , after unlocking the bootloader i tried to root my g4 H815 with TWRP recovery 2.8.... , the recovery said that it worked , unfortunately after rebooting the device , i got a bootloop , tried to back up using the "Send_Command" interface via cmd because i really need the data , but i keep getting the FAIL message , i can't even flash the stupid device , it indeed starts the flashing process according to download mode , but everything disappers after about 2 seconds , i'm sure i have correct usb drivers , it's like the phone's write protected , anybody please help me

Are you able to be in the download mode for some time? Try to use DLM backup using lglaf to backup all your partitions.

I would find the stock firmware that you where on and try to flash lgup or flash tool and start again you will lose data but device will be working. And remember to always backup before hand.
First of all thanks a lot as your method perfectly worked , i just have another question out of curiosity if you don't mind , altough LGUP did work of course , i recently noticed that if you don't already have the Google account already registered on the device , and precisely on Lollipop and above , there's absolutely no way you would boot up your phone , i wonder if there's a way to bypass that Google Verification thing !
and just for reference , LG UP doesn't entirely flash the device , it just .... , you know , like just replacing the old firmware without deleting the data , LG FLASH TOOL 2014 doesn't work either , it doesn't even start the flashing process regardless of the firmware , so it's not an option .
