Doubtful, considering it relies on Hardware Acceleration to function properly (which anything below ICS lacks). =/
Just be patient and wait until ICS is released for our phones; or give CM9 a whirl in the meantime.
I just read about this. It has a nice sync option using your google account.
Now I have a reason to want ICS on my phone. lol

They won't release for gb why do the hard work when every phone that can run should be upgrading to ics when it gets about ready to come out of beta

I already read that you can install a version of Google Now on you ICS but it will not be 100% functionnal.
So what about CyanogenMod 10 Preview ...
Is this something already using?
Is this something that is working like a genuine OS for the phone ?
----------
About me ... i'm a french person who got a Optimus in april/may ... Got issue with the reparation from Bell ( Futuretel ) and now waiting to get it back.
So I read a lot but din't find any tread about Google Now.
Hope beeing able to start working on the phone soon!
What i'm planning to do is trying to get a good back-up of the phone before playing with other Rom...
You need to search around for a jelly bean gapps, Google now is included and fully functional.

Here are CWM Flashable zips for Google Ears (566KB) and Google Now (36.33MB).
Tested with AT&T ICS 4.0.4. Doesn't work amazingly great but it does all the basic functions very well.

I see like sound hound right? thanks guys. Btw, been running Google now on my nitro for a couple weeks now and its pretty cool, pretty buggy in most versions I've tried, but cool nonetheless. Matt I saw your topic about the weather being about ten degrees off, checked it out, and : mines doing the same thing...not very accurate at all, sometimes 10 degrees off....Are there any confirmed 100% working versions for our phone? If I can find that I may not upgrade to jb for awhile...our at all

The other day, I spent about 3 hours looking for and trying different versions and this one is just about the most stable I've found.

I just picked up one for my wife that will be here Friday. I would appreciate any suggestions on which ROM is the most stable or any other hints you might have. Thanks!

The most stability definitely comes from the CM7 roms. I personally have not used them but I am almost positive that they work 100%. Another suggestion would be AndyBoneStock, I believe it was same as stock but debloated.
Thanks for the advice! I will check those out. The wife doesn't let me mess with her phone much so it needs everything to work & be solid. I have the original Incredible and a Nexus 4 to take care of my flash habit.

I think Andybonestock has all bloat, hence the name bonestock. Sense m is nice as jizzy said, and skyraider. But if you look, there are already about 50 "what's the best rom for my wife/gf that is fast and stable" threads. Check those for more suggestions.

Of course but its more than being high and mighty. The more threads made, the harder it is to find things. If there's like 30 threads asking the same thing, it gets kinda old. Because usually it means they didn't even bother trying to look first. Which is am XDA rule.

Would anybody be able to post the apk for the last version before the update? This new update is awful.. No next artist and the ui is hideous! And it's just not as smooth as it used to be sometimes it plays sometimes it don't, so I'd like to revert back to the old version and wait for an update, I really regret not backing it up myself smh. Thank you soo much for your help in advance

I actually like the new update. Performance is much better on my Note 2 and it looks nice. Although a dark theme would've been nice.

It's growing on me, too. Many improvements working with Ford Sync, and this version is more stable than before. I like many of the design choices... just wish they were on top of a black background instead of white. I imagine we'll get that eventually... sooner than later if you read the reviews on the Play Store.
yeah, i too am not a fan of the white and orange/blue they've got going on now.. hopefully this will push someone to do a dark/inverted themed version for us..
Thanks for uploading the old one. I tried liking the new version, but it really kinda sucks. Not only the WinMo style theme, but more importantly for me, it was holding a wakelock ALL THE TIME. Even when I told it to exit, or had no music playing. WTF?
