1. i flashed my phone with 3 dot removal mod
2. ma phone got stuck on boot-screen
3. i formated the sdcard the /system and did factory reset
4 . i read through all the posts..
5. followed all the steps downloaded the coustom rom
but finally when i tried to push the file using adb command it getss tranferred
but when i go to CWM recovery the file is not there in /sdcard
i tried mounting unmounting /sdcard and /system made partition still no luck ..
plzz help me plzzzz
i have spent 7 hours but still no luck..plzzz hellpp

Did you flash newest recovery with USB fix. If so, you should be able to open sd from out of recovery.
If you didn't flash newest recovery, then try that.

Grab the test recovery from cwm thread.
Flash it.
Boot to recovery.
Push your custom rom to sd card via adb.
Reboot to bootloader via adb.
Extract boot.img from your rom and place it in fastboot folder.
Give this command in fastboot :
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Reboot to recovery.
Flash your custom rom by choosing it from sd card.
Reboot.
Let me know if it works or not.
One more tip :
Never wipe the sd card.

i have the lastest CWM recovery and went and mounted the /sdcard and mount usb option also but it says ulm missing
m unable to mount it...is there anyway i can use the ruu method??? coz my ruu version is 1.29.720 but its ruu is not available ..
also can i use ruu 1.29.721 for my phone???

it was just stuck
on boot splash
here is what i didt
i pushed volume up an down in at the same time then pushed power buttom in at the same time then the light in the 3 way buttom
flashed
then i let it go all 3 buttom at the same time an my phone booted up

There is no need to manually mount the sdcard, with the latest CWM the usb storage is auto-mount. Boot to recovery, connect the usb cable to your pc, if there is no pop-up, open your "my computer" you will see the HTC Storage is there.

the problem was that iwas unable to mount usb in recovery mode i downloaded the usb bug fixed recovery and baannggg it showd my phone sdcard on pc i copied the coustom rom and boom it was done thanx a lot to everyone of u

i rooted my htc one x and everything was okay ... until i installed an app called font installer and i chaged the font ... the notifcation bar was gonee so i turned my phone off and on again ... the device just get stuck on the htc one logo .. PLEASE HELPP MEEE LEEEASEE AND THANK YOU
Don't you have a nandroid backup before you flashed that fonts ? If you do have, just restore your backup.
If there is no backup, the best is reflash a stock fonts

Check your PM ... give you link to stock fonts for JB.
Just flash it in recovery (I hope you do have a custom recovery installed).

In cwm mount USB storage and put the files on your sdcard. After that proceed as usual...

Connect to your computer and mount usb storage
If you can't mount it for some reason, you can follow my instruction here bro : The Disaster Fix

You have to flash your kernel from your pc using fastboot
fastboot flash boot boot.img

did you flash the boot.img from the nandroid backup before restoring your rom......guess no
fastboot flash boot bootname.img
then restore your nandroid

I did that things step by step
1. ı opened the phone booatloader mod and chose the recovery mod
2. and ı chose the mount usb mod and took the file from my pc and paste the phoe sd card
3. and entered the clockworkmod restore and back up me and restored my phone but this way didn work.
phone open but it stay on htc one screen and restart itself :S plee help me

Mate, you have to read mine and MarcelHofs posts carefully. No need to panic.
You just have to flash the boot image from your rom or backup from your pc using the fastboot.exe file.

maybe some leftovers from an old rom is bugging it
do this
1: flash boot.img in fastboot mode
2: go to recovery and do a factory reset !
3: do the nandroid backup

Ohkay SO Lets Start..I am Kinda ****ed ..
I Rooted My HTC ONE X after unlocking the Bootloader from htc dev.com and installed CWM and SU..now when i rebooted(after installing a app(fon changer) the phone is stuck at the startup splash screen i can enter fastboot and recovery but cant do anything else and have tried erasing fastboot cache and it doesnt work.I badly need ur help ...I cant lose this phone
Parents will literally kill me
I tried Wiping Dalvik cache but that also doesnt help.
Note:I was on the stock ROM(International Version India) and only wanted to root to use titanium Backup.
Anyone who can help?

Grab yourself a custom rom, install the rom via CWM and flash the kernel from fastboot. Backup your current rom (even tho its broke, via clockwork) you may be able to figure out what was wrong with it and recover at some point.

Well..I mounted my SD card while in Clockwork..put the ARHD files in it and then just flashed ARHD and the boot img with it and voila ..problem solved ..but a lesson Learnt.
Always have a backup or atleast a ROM on ur SD card!
So here is my problem,i have updated my hboot from 1.12 to 1.39 via this program JBFWTOOL21Z and i did everything as in the video tutorial on youtube. Afterwards i unlocked my bootloader , and i tried to reboot the phone and it got stuck on the htc startup screen. I feel as if it is important to mention that i had viper x rom(2.0.6) and it reboots in that rom and its just gets stuck, so can some one help me either completley erase everything(root,custom roms and get it like it came out of the factory) or apply a new custom rom but when i go to recovery i get a red triangle. Please help me and try to explain everything step by step because im a noob, and sorry for my enligsh

9: reboot

Thanks for the help but can you explain it to me a bit more noob friendly, because i really dont understand how to make this,i actually flashed a new custom recovery but i don't know how to do the things afterwards,please instruct me step by step Big thanks, if you help me fix this im getting out of some really big trouble :cyclops:
p.s. where do i download a new jb rom from ? (and can it be cyanogenmod10.1?)
Flash a new recovery (cwm 5.8.4.0) put the file in the fastboot folder. Phone in the bootloader.....
Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Fastboot erase cache
Flash the boot.img
Fastboot flash boot boot.img
Fastboot erase cache
Enter the recovery and make a full wipe then install the rom

Thank you very much mate :laugh: just one more question though, why can't i accept calls on the new rom(slim bean 4.2.2 official) and i can't connect to browser and app store(im guessing this is because of the google apps package,that i didn't see that i should install)
The way to install it, install the rom.zip and then right away the gapps.zip without a reboot in between !

Can you recommend me some good custom rom(and battery friendly). I wanted the viper x rom but i don't know if its compatible with the hboot 1.39 and if it is can you give me a download link and should i just apply it like a regular rom ? Ty

Download the full 3.4.0 rom
Copy the rom.zip on the sdcard of the phone. Open the rom.zip and copy out the boot.img into the fastboot folder on the pc
Phone in the bootloader and flash it
Fastboot erase cache
Fastboot flash boot boot.img
Fastboot erase cache
UNHOOK THE USB CABLE
enter the recovery and perform a full wipe, then install the viper rom. After that there is an official viper ota to 3.4.1

Backup data in recovery. You should have backed it up before updating the hboot.

i meant the data on the phone, not the rom itself, i meant the apps and the music and the pictures and all of the settings
Try titanium backup or carbon ! Works fine for alot of people :thumbup:

can you tell me how do i make my lockscreen unlock just with swiping on the three buttons on the screen. I got the AOSP lockscreen and when i swipe my fingers along the buttons it fires my screen but the swipe basically just substitues the power button.. Can i unlock my screen just by swiping on the three buttons ?
Well there is a swipe to unlock feature in the tweaks app ! Look around for it in there....i never used, i only know it exists

actually there is but when i do the gesture it just wakes the phone like when its locked and you press the power button, but it doesn't unlock it.. There must be a way

What is the problem, and what are you trying to do: root your phone, install a custom ROM, etc.

costum rom was installed on my phone I deleted everything with trwp normally I should have installed a new rom file but I didn't now the htc logo is stuck, there is twrp unlocked but I can't access it the boot loader does not open, because there is no rom, it does not open normally, there is only htc logo and red warning, maybe I can open the security mode or something else I am very tired

So, you might be able to flash an image through recovery, is it stock recovery or custom?
twrp open now charge cablo and wolume down and volume up and power button all white boot and later recovery happy and butt instal costum rom still eror
