Post your Benchmarks here! - LG Optimus G (International)

Hi there. I am just curious how our LGOG performs on benchmarks. I am not in particular, dependent to these results, however I just want to know how LGOG benchmarks differ from user per user. So, here's my LGOG's result:

Not bad, uh? I wonder if having ECO mode and energy saving on affects the performance... Probably not though, right? I repeated the test after disabling those two and it got about 18500.
Also why do you have a black status bar? Custom rom?

Stock 10c rom, just cleaned ram, eco mode off

I suppose that's how stock rom really rates in Antutu.

I got 20336... :thumbup::thumbup:
Stock rom with Eco mode off..
If yu guys getting scores lyk 16k or 17k, the reason is battery temp has increased and all the cores gets locked to 1188ghz....so before doing this test keep these things in mind... Leave the mobile fr some time so tat battry temp ll get reduced nd the cores ll be relocked to 1.5ghz...disable auto brightness nd increase it to max..... Hope these things ll increase ur score....

That explain a lot. It seem to be quite hot while running the benchmark.

It's quite weird, in my first test I had eco mode on, energy saving mode on and I got about 20229. In the next few tests (with eco and en.sav. modes off) I never got past 18000.
Now I repeated it again, got 19008.

Im not familiar with antutu. Does M.V have to do with the voltage? If so be careful about lowering it much more. Because the kernel that comes with it is already under volted, and your phone could go bonkers. You need to lower the CPU speed to about 1.118. You wont notice any difference in speed. Im running BeastMod and I dont use any off screen profiles, synergy kernel goes into deep sleep with out any.
I have git my goal but now my phone is slow I am running at 450!-850 but I would like to run 700-1200

Overclocking One V

A few questions about overclocking
First, is this even working? I'm using the latest PA ROM.
What are the best possible settings that don't damage the phone?

Yes overclocking is definitely working. U can notice a sharp difference between lower and higher values...don't overclock above 1.7 GHz it may damage ur phone...

You guys.... stop scarying the people already. Overclocking your device will not break it in any case, most likely will shorten YOUR BATTERY LIFE! But that's it! You will not fry your phone, motherboard, display or whatever. I can ramp my phone upto 2ghz and it has nothing... But 1024 mhz or 1200 is enough!
I had OCed hellboy to 2 GHz...it felt stable but the phone crashed every time i opened an app...anyways 1.2 is best works so smoothly...best for everyday use...

When I overclock to 1.5ghz I don't notice any difference at all ...why ?also if I sometimes try 2.0ghz the phone becomes laggy like hell

Difference is there. Just to be sure that your phone works at that range (and its not a rom/kernel problem) - install Perfmon from the market and open the CPU section - It will then show you in real time at what range your CPU works. And if 2.0 gh becomes laggy it is because your cpu can go that high. Some cpu's can and others can't. That's just how they work. My old HTC Hero could go upto 691 from 526 default but other HTC Heroes could go upto 740....
Yo Son, Just OC'ed my V to 1.8GHz, it flys. Kill those animation.
When I oc'ed to 2.0GHz stability test Crashed dawg. Stability test it son!
BTW: When I drop to 1.9Ghz throttling issues Nig. So bench your one V too.
now I'm at 1.8GHz it's stable and no heat issues at all.

May I ask why? Not about AnTuTu.. but Quadrant Standard is great!! Even helps in choosing a better ROM.. a little..:cyclops:
The only use I have for benchmarking apps is to compare changes in roms and kernels on your own phone. If you use the same app to benchmark, you can see the different performance gains and losses in various rom and kernel combinations. i really don't think they do any good comparing performance between different phones, but for checking on your own mods they do come in handy.

Use PERFORMANCE as the Governer after overclocking.. And disable 'Force use of GPU for 2D Drawing' in developer options.

[Q] CPU runs mostly at 1600mhz when using 4.1.2 custom roms

I've tried Omega 10 with perseus 30.1, 31.2 kernel and my CPU runs mostly at 1600mhz. I used to think that problem was related to the kernel, but now I'm using ARHD 8.0 with its stock kernel and the problem is still existing. I have also full wiped even /sdcard, but it didn't help. I've used 4.1.2 stock kernel and perseus kernel 29.1 before, and the problem was not there.
Can anyone tell me what is the cause of the problem?
Thanks.
try using uneak v 1.4 kernel....and set the cpu slider to the amount of Mhz you wish...try using another cpu govenor.
i think you are using the performance gov.
i hope it could solve your problem dude
Thank you guy, but I've not change any settings such as governor (it was pegasusq all time)
Mine does as well, but yet battery life is still pretty good. I wouldn't worry about it, as when it's not actively doing anything it will quickly throttle down, not to mention the other cores.

[Mod] Thermaconfig changes for Better Performance

Hi All,
There are modifications for the thermald.conf, which controls your CPU and GPU after a certain temperature.
I've modified the file to fit different profiles that'll work for people. So without further ado, here are the profiles.
Remember to backup before flashing, and not responsible for bricks and blah an blah, but if you do happen to
here's the guide on soft-bricking Guide
Stock
This is the stock file with no change.
Stock Therma
Optimized Stock
This is a slightly optimized stock that deals with the overheating and throttles the CPU and GPU properly.
Optimized Stock
Gaming
This prioritizes the GPU for gaming over any other feature
Gaming Therma
Gaming (Plus Battery Saver)
This prioritizes gaming; however, also throttles your CPU to help save battery.
Gaming Therma + Battery Saver
Better CPU
This is probably the best battery saver; however, it drastically throttles the GPU.
Better CPU
Full Power
Ignores any throttling rules, but battery drain will happen. And phone will overheat quicker. However, you'll experience the fastest speeds.
Full Power
Best Battery and Overheating
This sacrifices performance to optimize battery and subdue the heating issues.
Best Battery
Sweet, thank you

How does this differ from Eco-Mode in terms of cpu throttling? Or is this strictly throttling for the GPU, and has nothing to do with the CPU?

Eco-mode utilizes two cores rather than all four.
This mod is based on temperature, and throttles according to the devices temperature. Currently, throttling already happens when the phone reaches a certain temp; however, this mod alters the throttling to either enforce stricter rules, or ignore the throttling completely.

Yes, this can deal with that; however, I still enforced the rule to lower brightness if the phone reaches a certain temperature.
Despite the fact the phone doesn't feel hot, the temperature my very well be on the rise.
I would recommend that you use the optimized stock. This version would scale the phone better, and never really overheat this never causing the brightness to go down.

Solid ruby kernel lastest (Not the last 0.1) WIfi on all the time, i never turn it off, only when there is no wifi.
Now its max 1ghz 4 cores on, and gpu down to 320, its very good in performances, try it yourself, and it has a great battery life.
