Root? Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 Model GT-P5200 - Galaxy Tab 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi there,
It is possible to root the device GT-5200 (3G+wifi)?
Thanks.

Don't know if you still need to know the answer.
I'll just write a short answer, so anybody reading this thread can find the right page:
Found this Tutorial via Google:

Thanks for the short links.
I'm appending a question to update the topic, as it refers to 6-months ago: is any TWRP/CWM proposed version compatible with nowadays 4.2.2 Firmwares ?
Thanks again

SystemUI
Hello, root nation
I've question - is it possible to replace some system programs, such as caller/dialer, lockscreen and so on? My tab won't got any updates and custom OSs aren't fits me, so I with to "create" my personal OS . Who has any experience with such things? Perhaps this isn't right topic, so please, guide me. Thanks in advance.

[Q] Custom Recovery for Tab Pro 12.2 SM-T900 ??

As you can see, I am a total nubie. In fact, this is my first post. I'll do my best to avoid doing anything dumb (against rules). If I do (probably inevitable) please let me know.
I see that people are successfully rooting with chainfire but I haven't been able to find any conversations or info about flashing a custom recovery to a SM-T900 or any work being done to port some roms to the device. Is it just too new to see anything yet? Has anyone heard anything or can recommend a link to more info?
Thanks!

[Q] root 4.4.2 on T210R

I'm sorry for even posting this, usually I look and read and read and read and I can find it, but this is kind of new and so I haven't been able to find it. My wife just updated her Tab 3 7.0 model T210R. Its now on 4.4.2 build KOT49H.T210RUEU0CNI1 and I'm not sure if there is a way to root this tablet now. If someone wouldn't mind pointing me in the direction to find a root method I would greatly appreciate it.
Same here I have tried with odin but that makes the tablet crash and had to re-install jb firmware.

I made it with the G532M using a tutorial that I found here. The only thing is that you need to do a downgrade in order to root and my phone eventually "notice" (I don't know hoy to express it, sorry) that it have a outdated firmware and I have to flash the latest firmware with smart switch.
I can't put links but search for "[ROOT] Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime G532F, G532M, G532G, SuperSU Root SM-G532F/M/G". You have to download the firmware for somewhere else because the links are down, but the root works. Also, there is the same method in various videos on youtube. I recommend to find the firmware with the date that support the root, I don't remember the date.
In this moment I have my phone without root but I found a method that needs to mess with the core linux system so until I learn some linux skills I'm going to keep the original firmware.

sm-t110 (only root or install rom?)

Hello everyone,
this is my first post in this forum, so i'm excusing in advance if this is the wrong place for this post.
I have a samsung tab sm-t110 which is very slow on every action. I try to format it, but I see no improvement. I then look around to know a little about root and roms.
I read several thread in this forum and i have some question.
1) I'd like to speed up my tablet and remove unnecessary apps, do I just need to root it? If yes, can you confirm is this thread the one I need to follow carefully?
2) What action do you suggest to do after?
3) If you think it would be better use a rom, which one do you suggest?
Sorry if my questions are silly, I'm new and wish to know better this world before starting manipulating my devices
And thanks to whoever will spent his time answering
As far your device, you should first root it . And thn use 3rd party soft wares to delete the unnecessary apps. This will help a lot and you can also download Lineage for your device .
I root the device successfully
Thanks for the clean and easy-to-follow guide (can't write in the thread, it's closed)
For now I'll try using the rooted device with some app.
Really last question for now, what would be the best ROM? The Lineage OS that seems will be out for the end of July?
Its cynogenmod

What version? I've looked through v12.1 to 14 and neither seems to have the T110 listed as compatible
