The only problem with that(and any one that I have used) is that the flash does not work. If FC's when the flash goes off.
I have yet to find a version that has a working flash.

Mine works with flash and no force close maybe you should full wipe maybe file lingering somewhere

What Rom are you using? You are the first person I have seen that say the flash works.
I have been thru many roms, even flashing back to stock and thus unrooting, then rerooting and none of the versions I have tried (3. or 4, including the one here) have a working flash.

In that last photo, you have the flash turned off(you can tell by the empty circle on the right). In that case it will work great. Don't mistake the light coming on in that case as the flash. The lighr you see is used to focus only.
Force the flash to be on or set to auto and take a shot in a dark room. When the flash tries to go off it will force close the gallery.

So, no Force Closure but your flash didn't work as intended right? I assume we should see "something" with flash, unless you were in a field with nothing to reflect the flash.

Sorry, just getting back to this. As mentioned above, if that is the picture then it doesn't look like your flash went off. I'd expect to see at least the flash in the photo.

Ic what u talking about didnt notice cause pictures are I take usually no flash.I use other camea app usually and use the 4.2 gallery to edit pictures and stuff.

Downloaded them to my SD card and this is what I see in the gallery. But if I browse to them in root explorer, I can see them just fine. Any ideas?

Ahhh.... and I usually leave them in root explorer, and just pick the one I want.......I suppose you can push them in your system wallpapers? But I wouldn't know..sorry bro

I think my problem was that I downloaded the zip to my phone & extracted using root explorer. I deleted that and instead extracted on my mac then pushed them over and all is good. Weird.

1. Can somebody please upload the stock rom's browser? I want to download mission rom which is gingerbread but it doesnt have the stock browser, so someone please upload?

I'm not sure if there is some rooted stock ROMs in the forums, if there is you might want to try searching inside those ROMs

For obvious reasons. It must be pushed into system/app but I can't guarantee it will work.

Best camera app for LG Optimus G Pro

I'm looking for some opinions on a replacement camera app for my OG Pro. With all the options like the leaked 4.3 app, CM Focal, Camera FX... Etc. What are your opinions. Looking for full screen view finder, non intrusive, full featured and fast shooting.

Actually non. Because I personally didn't find any app that does the dual camera and dual video like the stock camera app does.

If you want full screen with stock app, just change the resolution to 10mp. Full screen means you have to crop the image because of the aspect ratio of the sensor. I'd rather have the full image and crop later if I want.

I have yet to actually use the dual feature, just seems gimmicky and trying to aim at 2 needed pictures, I don't want to see my "O" face personally.

Focal does the trick for me. Non intrusive, quick shots and has plenty of options. Like stated, dual camera is useless and is just a gimmick.

Thanks guys. After using the 3 options for a few days. I think my daily is going to be the 4.3 stock camera. Dual camera is a fun option, but I would never actually use it for shots.

Focal has way more options and effects built in IMO. Only thing it does not have is the dual camera which I do not care about, it is a gimmick, you may use it a few times to impress friends then it gets old once they all see it.

OK u r using the focal form the Google play store? This one crashes for me and the one for cm10 isn't compatible with stock ROM.

My experiences with Focal have been very buggy with both my G Pro and S4 Active.

ProCapture is the best. It can turn on/off "Exposure Reset", so we can enhance photos quality of G Pro (a little bit dark in most of photos).

Since you're all bashind the dual camera feature i'm posting this because i'm a very happy user to have the feature and i use it all the time for videos, don't know why you're calling it gimmicky just because you personally don't use it, bought my ogp for 1.power 2.screen 3.ui 4.dual camera :cyclops:

To the OP: do you ever go to torrent sites? If you don't, and you think it's wrong, then you probably won't get why it's so hard to get a good camera on the android phones. See, it has to do with what is known as intellectual property rights. Some people think they own code. And they want to be paid lots of money when really they should be getting paid sweat shop wages.
All it would take is some coding and our expensive phones would be able to cut into the sales of expensive cameras. But the big corporations have to protect their profits.

Thanks for the quick responses. Ive rooted before but would prefer to stay stock at the moment. I'm pretty impressed with lgog as is minus the email app.

Ok, you talked me onto it. I rooted and copied the file over in root browser. It installs after reboot but doesn't seem to want to connect to hotmail or yahoo.

Yes, that is how the permissions are set. I notice that every app in that app folder has an odex file to go along with the .apk. do i perhaps need one of those files too?
Or maybe i need to set the servers up manually for hotmail and yahoo. Anyone willing to share those settings?
I know i know why in the heck do i have a hotmail and yahoo account. I use them for junk mail.

Oh yeah stock rom is odexed...here's another option for you. Download the odexed version of OpTimuS ROM and extract the email app and it's odex file and then try pushing those to your system/app folder. I'm on the deodexed version or else I'd do it.

I read the heading, but not the part about nexus.
Yeah, that's stock lg. The one Partimusprime game you should be the one you need. Aosp doesn't use odex I'm pretty sure.
