I just flashed back to stock rom a few days ago after i had problems with pa 3.99 . I can connect to 3g mobile internet fine but is just that when i turn it off and turn it back on after a few hours. It wont connect. Regular phone signal is fine but mobile data wont connect. The only way to fix this is by rebooting and then it will be able to connect to 3g again. Then after a few hours later and turning it back on, same thing happens. What problem is this? Im sick and tired of rebooting my note 2 everytime i want to use mobile internet... help?

Hello, after I updated with the most recent OTA, I noticed that everytime I switch off the Wifi, my Desire (unrooted, unlocked, with Froyo) cannot connect to mobile internet anymore. I have to switch to airplane mode, than back again. Before the Froyo update, it would do that sometimes, and I saw other people complaining about the same thing. After this last update, however, it's everytime. Basically, if the mobile internet is disconnected, it won't connect back unless I turn on and off the airplane mode. It's very inconvenient. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you!
today i flashed cyanogenmod 9 on my htc one x...im getting a bug..my mobile data not connecting after disabling data for few hours...sometimes it connects after few minutes and sometimes takes hours.
i don't think its the problem if the rom. i get that too on a stock rom and unrooted phone. if i connect to data, disconnect it after few minutes and if i try to reconnect i have to wait for about 5-10mins for 3g. sometimes annoying. so usually i just leave it connected
Hi all
Seem to have a wifi or network problem.
I'm running ARHD 20.1 and have noticed lately that my wifi connection just seems to stop randomly when connected to the internet.
When I say stop I mean it still shows full signal on the wifi but just lose all network connectivity. web pages time out, play store times out, youtube times out and local connections time out. But it still shows my wifi is connected to my router and it still shows full signal.
Once it stops the only way I can reconnect is to turn wifi off and on again.
I normally have wifi turned on all the time.
Funny thing is it only seems to happen when i've been browsing for a few minutes, I can always access the internet the 1st time I try so its not disconnecting when i'm not using it
This has just started happening over the last few days and prior to this everything was fine.
I've tried reloading the Rom and Boot.img but its still doing it.
Any idea's?
Stu
Try to flash an other kernel like xm
If don't work, try to change the rom and see if that rom have this bug.
Hey...I really have a strange wifi issue that I nor anyone else I have asked can figure it out. My galaxy note 2 connects to our wifi router with no issues. Works fine. BUT...occasionally it loses connection to the internet. It stays connected to the router...but not internet connection. After I turn it off on my phone and turn back on...its back on and fine.
B U T...that isn't all. WHEN it loses internet connection...it turns it off for EVERY other wireless device in the house. Laptops...cellphones, etc. Every other device will not be able to connect until I turn my wifi off on my phone and turn back on...or at least leave off. It never happens anywhere else...just at my house.
What is going on? I haven't a clue how to fix that nor what can be done...or why it is even doing this.

Yes. just did again. I'm just keeping my wifi off on my phone for now. I have a tech coming out to replace the wifi router since its theirs.
I have had similar issues ever since i flashed a 4.3 rom, wifi never works properly, did the param-4.3 odin flash too.
are you stock or on a 4.3 touchwiz rom?
Ok. I have replaced the wireless router...or I should say Charter did. They replaced it with the same model though...brand new. It still has the problem. I am on 4.2 btw and rooted...but no custom rom. Any other ideas.
You running a dual band router? Try only going on 2.4ghz band.
There are also some WiFi power savings settings you can turn off that should help also.
I had that same issue when i first got my phone in Oct fresh out of the box on 4.1. I did those changes and everything has been fine since

My wifi was working very well. One day suddenly it went off. Initially I thought it was a connection problem, but eventually I discovered that the wifi toggle switch refused to start. It was stuck.
In a bid to correct it I even did a factory reset. But wifi issue remained.
Did everything mentioned in various YouTube videos. But in vain.
Then I installed Cynogenmod but same wifi issue. So went back to 4.3 stock android.
Not satisfied, I flashed kitkat 4.4 . Most of time wifi connection remains. But when I turn it off and then again on. It does not connect.
The only way I can resolve d issue is by switching off the phone, removing the battery 4 a minute and restart. Wifi works until I keep it on. Once I turn it off and turn on back again, it does not connect.
(My router and Internet connection are fine)
Removing battery every time 2 start wifi is nuisance.
Pl advice.
