hello everybody,
is there anybody that can make an update.zip with the (chinese) htc official Kernel?
i don't care about overclocking and i want to check if it will solve my battery issues

Ummm. To do this properly we would need to know which ROM you are using. If you let me know, I can make you one. I need to know the ROM so I can make the ramdisk match the ROM.

[Q] 2ndboot for defy

Hi ,
is there a chance, to get 2ndboot working on defy so we can boot with custome kernel?
Can someone explain how it work?
I didn´t understand it yet.
Is with 2ndboot the same performance as without?
Any differents?Slower?

Look in the devellopment secrion of this forum and you'll find all kinds of custom kernels with guidance on how to flash them.

What is a Kernel? The Kernel is the Foundation in which everything else builds upon in any software system.
[Car Analogy]: Kernel is like the Engine, Electrical system and the Transmission to a car. The Library, Framework and the Apps [AKA ROM] are the body frame and the rest of the Car.

I want to develop/build a custom ROM on my own. I'm Not a noob, also not a pro...
I have some basic knowledge n being optimistic on this.
Can anybody help, suggest or links from where and how to start....?
and also What are the things/files/platform tools need to do...

i have a problem...

when i press y to convert updater-script to update-script
write that updarer-script don't found...why???
i have xperia arc...i use "system" to stock arc rom gb for this method and META-INF specific in the guide and a lupusv7 kernel boot.img....what is the problem??

Please specific whats your prob. If you can't make a rom, don't make a rom...
Learn by doing and not with programms for rom creating...

i would just create my own rom ... do it with the mods that i want and my interface ... I found this guide and I was trying to follow it because if not I don't know how to do it...
