root phone (dont worry, ive done it maybe more than 40 times already(i like to change roms once in awhile) its perfectly safe, for now) and give triangle away root access, reset flash counter and unroot, done
EDIT: and you dont have to flash stock jb again, resetting flash counter and unrooting is enough

Can you try through Download mode if you can flash a custom Recovery ? If it fails to write, you may have to flash Stock 4.3 Root66.
Please follow this thread.
Can Odin a recovery, just make sure auto reboot is not checked. After it's done boot into recovery and flash superuser, or a ROM of your choice.
Sent from my SGH-T999L
I flashed cf auto root for t999 thru odin and installed supersu from the play store but my warranty bit in download mode now shows 1. Supersu gave permission to triangle away 3.10 to reset the flash counter. System still shows modified and warranty bit 1.

The new bootloader introduced the Warranty Bit. It can not be reset with Triangle Away.
I am in recovery mode, I am choosing applly update from external storage, I am trying install Knox Remover, after few seconds phone is rebooting. During installation i rhink I have seen some failed. But I am not sure, what I am doing wrong?
Soryy I have got the solution. In Odin make sure that auto reboot is NOT checked.
Now I am trying to find the answer do I need to do more modifications to prepare my phone to install any custom rom or I can just choose straight a one and start the installation. Cheers

As for selinux, I'll take a screenshot, but as to Knox you referred to it being enabled (¿Huh?).I never touched Knox, as it was meant for business users. How would I turn it off?
I was going to unroot my galaxy grand 4.2.2 I also reset my binary counter to 0 from 1 but now I changed my mind and don't want to unroot my device. Will it effect my device or I should complete unroot it and then root it again?

No it will not effect your device, you would simply need to gain the root access again.
If you are getting No Command in CWM recovery mode, it means your recovery doesn't have proper permissions, so simply flash this zip and reboot into recovery - View attachment Fix-Recovery.zip

If you are flashing a custom ROM then root access will already be there.
But if you want to do it on your own, just flash UPDATE-SuperSU.zip from here (works on any ROM) - http://download.chainfire.eu/381/SuperSU
First of all I want to Install Gennext Rom but its keep showing me Red Triangle please explain how to get rid of this
And If i want to gain access to root by myself then should i unroot my device then root it again or just flash SuperSu?

I dont know what you mean red triangle, post a snapshot of your device with the problem, maybe?
As long as you are on 4.2.2 stock and you have a custom recovery installed, it should flash GENNXT without problems.
No need to unroot, just flash SuperSU

So I tried to root my phone (GT-N7100) running on 4.3 Jellybean, but had problems with Knox and Super User so I unrooted the device with Zedomax's help.
1.) Install the custom recovery
2.) Reset the Binary count with Traingle Away
3.) Unrooted with Super User
Root Checker says I dont have root, but Knox and OTA won't let me check for updates. Checked my Device Status still on Custom
I am LOST on what to do.. couldn't find anything. PLS HELP MEEE!! want my phone back to stock like out of the box. Phone is from the Philippines (Globe)

Now, we do not any solution for tripping Knox and resetting knox counter. But you've to flash your phone with official rom by downloading it from: sampro.pl/firmware/android/samsung-gt-n7100/.
First check your phone's current version by dialing *#1234# and then select proper rom from provided website. This might (But not guarantee it) help you to avail official updates.

As per my advice try to find replica of your stock firmware. You may, but backup first your efs partition. In case if that no matched for your device it'd probably delete your IMEI, wifi, bluetooth address. Later it helps easily restore the data without any kinda worries.

You don't need a rooted phone at all, but a custom recovery like - CWM recovery, Philz Touch, TWRP etc.

when you rooted your phone, there's a modified inside the system, that's why samsung bootloader will detect it as "modified/custom" instead of "official". I know your ROM is still official after you unroot it. But, unroot just remove the access to the root/system file. Whatever modified during the rooting process earlier will remain the same. Therefore, if you want to get an "official" status back, you have to flash stock original firmware after you have clean binary, & unroot your device.
cheers.

Hahaha thought Triangle Away would fix that device status problem being Modified/Custom
So you know anyway to download the stock rom quicker. My downloads are always unsuccesful...

Hello,
I've tried to root my Galaxy Note 2 GT N7100 (KitKat 4.4.2) [original, NO custom ROM or CWM]
with
CF-Auto-Root-t03g-gtn7100.tar.md5
via ODIN
as shown in several tutorials.
All seemed passed ok, nothing obviously went wrong, SuperSU appears in the app drawer.
BUT
If started, SU has been be stopped, Root Checker says, the system is very slow and the phone is NOT rooted (properly).
Updating SU via PlayStore is NOT possible, only to deactivate.
Counter is on 1, Triangle away and other system apps don't work, because the phone isn't really rooted
Wipe data also is changing nothing.
So I've now a NON-rooted phone with the counter on 1, updates via OTA were denied, by reasons seen above.
What can I do? Could 'GalaxyNote2Root' be an option?
THX!

Ohh, THX for you fast reply!
Does
openrecovery-twrp-2.7.2.1-t03g.img
match?
Or alternative: cwm6-root-note2, but this is old (2008)
I tried rooting my N7105 LTE last night and think I am having the same problem mate, hopefully someone can help!
Most important question: Why do you want to root your device?
If you want to run custom roms, forget about root cause you only need a custom recovery (best the recommended one for the rom) flashed with Odin.
Then you can flash any rom you want through this recovery and most of them are pre-rooted, so :good:
Only if you want to be rooted with stock rom I will try to guide you.
THX

Only to prevent KNOX to deny access to the external card and run some apps, which need SU-rights, e.g. Titanium- / efs- Backup and so one.
At last to make TC working again. This app makes the phone freezing (superSU cannot start and hangs).
Thanks for yor reply.
One way to do it:
Flash custom recovery through Odin and afterwards latest SuperSu.
After bootup the app will deactivate Knox.
EDIT: I have not tested, cause I make my own rooted base-roms, so I hope it will work for you.
I can provide you such a base
