I installed a live wallpaper from google play, but then removed that app again, while the wallpaper was chosen as background picture.
Suddenly I got the attached wallpaper. I didn't see that wallpaper before, I can't even see it in the gallery.
Can anyone tell me where to find the image file?

I had the same thing. Whenever i tried to change it, it will change to this wallpaper by default. And i hv noticed that my screen dpi decreased badly. Now im just using normal wallpaper insted of the live ones. Virus maybe?

No, thats not a virus. I think it's kind of a fallbacksomething like "if selected wallpaper is not available - show this one!"

the app u removed, is it 'Xperia Play wallpapers'(or sumthing similiar) i had that too..
when i scanned the apk of this app on my pc, it showed it had a virus(although downloaded frm play store). then i uninstalled the app.

Then it must be from my Xperia live wallpaper downloaded from google play. Imma try to uninstall it.

Nope, didn't get that wallpaper. Don't remember which one I used. But the image must have been somewhere in the system folder. Just installed the new sony rom, and the background picture is gone...

just curious since i flashed my Arc S to the official ICS version, it has 2 apps for gallery. one simply named Gallery and the other Xperia Gallery. is it safe if i simply disable the Gallery from the apps menu? and is the built in screenshot option not available anymore?
EDIT: also how is it i still cannot access apps in the market such as Google Chrome Beta or Photoshop Touch that are both supposedly compatible with ICS?

Because Bravia Engine works only with old gallery (xperia gallery) not ics. :-D

Chrome beta is fine for me on ics. But no photoshop, I presume the Xperia doesn't have the requirements.

well an idea I think will work is download launcherPro and place an activity on the homescreen. The activity would point toward the launcher. Try it

Actually, I did manage to activate the TvLauncher on Android's Home,
but the application itself doesn't work without HDMI, they probably
made it HDMI dependend in the code and the amount of code
is too long and cut for me to search for a way to fix that..
I did edit the manifest to make the application launchable,
and added some infos to have the icon showing.
The application is signed in order to be installed correctly.
(Without it, nothing will show. Done with my AndroidAppsEditor.)
The application starts, forces the screen to landscape (set in the manifest),
then black screen and closes itself directly..

Thanks for all your efforts. I was able to make an launchable apk and as Adrian said, its forces landscape, than blackscreens and closes itselfs... Will try to fix when i have some time..

I was rummaging through my dad's Galaxy Note and found the s voice.apk
I tried to install it on my xperia S and booom! worked.
It installs as a regular apk.
No need to install it on the system then it is not necessary to be root.
is not possible to enter the app settings but is working well.

As i say its not posible acces to de app settings but still work.
Some functions like music or reminder not work because there is no app for that no app for that according to s voice app

AFAIK it is PlayMemories.apk not social engine plugin to sync photos with Sony Album apk

So I've got the latest nougant for the z5p (378?) And I've noticed something. The Xperia theme does not change the stock phone / contacts app. Is there a reason for this or did I get a bad firmware download? It doesn't look like Xperia contacts or dialer, it looks like Google's dialer.
In mm I was very bummed when my stock email app wouldn't theme properly but they've fixed that in nougant, not the phone app doesn't want to theme.
Any thoughts?
I'm very seriously considering going back to mm just because of this lol. It makes the experience "tacky"
