Ok I found out it's ships out unlocked.
https://support.google.com/nexus/7/answer/3248332?hl=en
in this page, it show two different version of the nexus 7 lte
North America and Japan:
GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
HSPA+: 850/900/1900/2100/AWS (1700/2100) MHz (Bands: 1/2/4/5/8)
LTE: 700/850/1700/1800/1900/2100 MHZ (Bands: 1/2/3/4/5/13/17)
Rest of World:
GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
HSPA+: 850/900/1900/2100/AWS (1700/2100) MHz (Bands: 1/2/4/5/8)
LTE: 800/850/1700/1800/1900/2100/2600 MHz (Bands: 1/2/3/4/5/7/20)
but after i checked US + UK + Germany 's play store (try some web proxy site)
in the "Technical specifications"
they show totally same LTE band
"LTE: 700/850/1700/1800/1900/2100 MHz"
not "800/850/1700/1800/1900/2100/2600 MHz"
it is very confuse
Is only one version nexus 7 lte in the world?
already cover all lte band in the world ?
Just a question,
I'm here in Japan and I found out that the Nexus 7 (2013) LTE Edition is quite cheaper here
than in Philippines.
Would the Nexus LTE here in Japan work on the LTE connection in Philippines?
Thank you! (Sorry if some of you find the question noob-ish, i'm just not sure)
I think it will work here in the philippines since hardwares are also sinilar and the baseband/frequency forgot the exact name

Really? I'm really hesitating right now if I really should buy or not.
What carrier are you planning to use it with? You can look up what frequencies and band that carrier uses, e.g. 850 MHz and band 1.
Here's the LTE frequency/band info: https://support.google.com/nexus/answer/3248332
North America and Japan:
GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
HSPA+: 850/900/1900/2100/AWS (1700/2100) MHz (Bands: 1/2/4/5/8)
LTE: 700/850/1700/1800/1900/2100 MHZ (Bands: 1/2/3/4/5/13/17)
Rest of World:
GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
HSPA+: 850/900/1900/2100/AWS (1700/2100) MHz (Bands: 1/2/4/5/8)
LTE: 800/850/1700/1800/1900/2100/2600 MHz (Bands: 1/2/3/4/5/7/20)
Thanks for the info.
So I'm planning to enter Globe Telecom, so does it means I can use a Nexus 7 LTE from Japan to LTE in Philippines?
Globe uses 1800 MHz as its LTE frequency, but you should check what band they use.
My quad band GSM is 850/900/1800/1900 mhz edge/gprs/gsm, tri band UMTS 850/1900/2100 MHz HSPA and dual band 700 and 1700 MHz LTE networks.
SGH-I317M
Im on version 4.3.
A solution would be really helpful!!

Oppo 7 Advertises:
Mexico & US:
GSM/GPRS/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900MHz
WCDMA: 850/900/1700/1900/2100 MHz
FDD-LTE: Bands B1/4/17
AT&T Bands:

Here's my question:
I see 850 MHz for both GSM/GPRS/EDGE and HSPA+... Does this mean that it will default to HSPA+ when it exists?
I just don't want it to toggle from LTE to 2G, heh...

Yes. Default preference order is LTE, then HSPA+/WCDMA, then EDGE/GPRS/GSM
