I have been searching and found nothing. The Xposed modules don't work on our G pro. I am wondering if there are any flashable battery mod with 1%. I really hate the bar with the percentage next to it.
u can change that in settings go to battery then check display percentage

Thanks. I figured that might be the last resort since I really like the stock rom.
I don't have the link but someone posted a topic about changing a line in build.prop that would make it use the international signal icons. Then you could use xposed battery mods.

I have tried several ones from the following thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397545
None worked but it did show the right icon only when charging. Just the regular icons are not showing up.
No battery mod will work because they are based on aosp signal bar images. Stock ROM are redirected to different images by LG in LGSystemUI.apk
That's why you need to edit the build.prop and force it to use stock signal images. Then the battery mods will work as normal.
Search the general and q&a forum for something about international signal and the topic should show up.

I've tried xposed framwork in e988 stock rom..
change battery and text color, works fine .. but when I try to change the clock to the center .. bootlop :crying:
I found one xposed module that the center clock worked on.. I think it was xblast... I tried about 10 different modules before I found one that worked.

Back online...for some reason 4.1.2 status bar mods are not working but I have it on my phone...very odd! New downloads are up and have been tested by me to ensure if flashed it all works
To get this theme working follow this
If you want to keep your apps:
Backup your apps with Titanium backup
Nandroid
Enter recovery (I am using TWRP 2.3.2.3)
Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik Cahce
Factory Reset
System
Flash the:
ROM
Kernel
Theme (after you put the new phone.apk and contacts.apk into the zip
Status bar mods (Flash the first link first then the order wont matter)
Get on THIS ROM

I use THIS kernel

Then use THIS theme

I took the SecPhone.apk and SecContacts from SENDSPACE to make it work.

Flash all the status bar mods to make everything blue again (try to number these in the order I have them or at least the first one which gets themed by all the files below. (Drop the two files into the actual theme so it will replace the ones that dont work)

avetny for the Theme itself
joshbeach for the Phone.apk and Contacts.apk
I have a problem with my status bar not showing.
I used the two files from sendspace to patch up the them to fix the force close but when I reboot, I do not see my status bar.
I tried flashing the other 8 mods to change the color and I still don't see my status bar.
Any suggestions?
Ps. I am using the same ROM but using perseus kernel so that it can see my exfat memory card.
Thanks in advance for your help!

I went into root explorer and checked and it's the same as the pic you have posted....Fade on , Crt off. It only fades for both though, it does not Crt off.
Any ideas?
Also I tried to edit but I didn't see how to do it...I changed values in root explorer to RO but all i get is a cursor with no keyboard access...
I assume it might have to do with Xposed but can't say for sure.. I do know when I try to activate CRT off from within Xposed using whichever module handles that feature it never works..

Same here about messing with the expensive toy lol. I use es file explorer and I changed the effects a couple of times and it worked. I'm running Xposed with the wanam module but that's the only module I use. I could see if your using multiple modules it might mess with this. I guess you could always try a fresh download and maybe wipe dalvik cache and cache before you install it and see if that helps.

Now not only does it work for screen off but it works for screen on...Here's the funny part..Gravity box doesn't offer a screen on setting for it , only screen off.
Please don't ask me how or why I don't know...lol.
I did go back to build prop using es file to double check what I had there and everything is as is...Crt off and fade on so again I'm stumped but at the same time happy about having Crt screen on as well.......I have no clue what I'm saying anymore..lmao:laugh::laugh:

Can you change your live wallpapers?
Sent from my SM-N900T using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
It's seems that it only impacts the Nova launcher beta. When I move to apex, I can change live wallpapers. Nova works before flashing crt off but not after.
Update: Same thing happened to apex after a reboot. Live wallpaper selector stops working. If I restore the services.jar everything works again.
Sent from my SM-N900T using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
In theory this might break something, since its not for the correct firmware. MJ4 while ours is MI7. No one really knows the differences however.
Someone needs to contact him and find out what changes were done in the services.jar and apply them to our MI7.
There was a mod done for the s4 that this was patterned after... don't have the link handy though
EDIT: Here's the link I was thinking of -> here
Just a note since I read the other thread. There is a hotspot mod included with this so it is very possible for it to break your tethering. Hopefully we can get a dev to update for mi7, taken out the hotspot part and make a deodex and odex version.

So I'm back on odex (on purpose) and flashed it again. If you delete the SystemUI.odex file and (maybe, I did) clear Dalvik and cache, it works beautifully while on an otherwise odexed rom.
I've shared these tweaks in a couple other threads. Enough people seemed interested, that I decided to share them here.

EDIT 4/26/14: @Southern_mind has found a thread with a stock rom for the VZW S5. Be sure to test the apps found in here and let us know what works for you!!!

EDIT 4/26/14: @Misterxtc has posted the working files for MMS

EDIT 4/25/14: I found boot and shutdown animations for the S5 that can be flashed through Safestrap here.

S5 Settings
I just used the app that was included in this zip and replaced the system app using Root Explorer. It works okay, but I would like to see this done to the settings app for our model. If anybody can do this mod, please share.

S5 Toggles and Recent Apps
Xposed - Very easy install, great if your already using Xposed. Plus this gives you a few more options.

Build Prop Edits - Very easy

Framework
This has been done on other variants, yet still has a few bugs. I'm not sure if they would work on our device as I am not willing to try it currently. But if somebody would like to try it, or mod them for our device, please share.
EDIT 4/25/14: I have flashed framework. It looks great. However, I had issues with incoming calls afterwards. DO NOT flash SystemUI. I have tested it, it is not compatible with our model.

Download Booster
I can not find any threads that convince me that it has successfully been ported. The settings mod allows you to turn the feature on, but it does't actually work. The only thing I've seen that works similar to this, is in this thread.

S5 Launchers
@jolly_roger_hook has some modded S5 launchers that will work great with everything else. Check out his thread.

Other Mods
I am currently looking for mods that may work, or could be ported over, to give us even more S5 features. Let us know if you find the particle lockscreen, ultra power saving mode, fonts, or download booster. If you can think of other mods that we should look for, or can already use, let us know.
Thanks
Thanks for the following people that have contributed or have been active in the testing of these mods. Make sure that you stop by their threads or posts and at least press the thanks button if they helped you out. They don't have to share their work, but they do so everybody can have a better experience. @Southern_mind @jolly_roger_hook @popkurn611 @Misterxtc
Anybody else I may have missed
Also thanks to BeansTown106, ChainFire, SexTape, Hashcode, Sparky_b, and anybody else I may have missed for helping to make this possible.
None of this is my original work. I just wanted to share what I have found. If your phone gets bricked, catches on fire, divorces you, etc..., its not my fault. Tinker at your own risk.

I've shared these tweaks in a couple other threads. Enough people seemed interested, that I decided to share them here.

All of these apps are confirmed working.

I wanted to just flash just framework, do I do that just as a flash through SS? I did the xposed mod for the toggles and recent apps so what is the systemui.apk in the same thread as the framework that makes you edit the build prop?

I found the Framework zip on the 9th page. The system UI I have not tried. Not sure what it adds or changes.

Settings is in a different thread (Link is in the OP). The framework changes things like how the volume and reboot menu look. See the third screenshot.

It def is and thanks for that clarification! As far as the settings you said they were just ok? Even the xposed mod for the toggles aren't exact to the stock s5 ones

Its just nice to get a fuller effect with the settings. I prefer the toggles this way because everything works. The S Finder button and a couple of other things dont work with the mods include that.

It seems that SystemUI may be needed to get Ultra Power Saving Mode to work.
