Someone had posted they downloaded the ota 165mb update. I was hoping they might be able to post the update so we could extract the modem/radio....

check /cache/fota folder.... OTAs used to be stored in this folder (even after update).

I am re-rooting my phone right now so that I can try to get the update for you. It hopefully will still be in the cache

First I'll like to say thanx for pulling that update so we can all have the new modem!:thumbup::thumbup:
About the Dropbox! It has happen to me where they suspend your account. They only suspend it for few days then it'll be back up and running FYI! So don't worry about your account getting locked up. They'll put it back to normal in a few days. Meaning your fine posting stuff here on your free account.
Another word of advice you might want to check out COPY storage. It's in the play STORE..

I get them automatically as well, but some don't like my brother who has the same exact phone as me. I release them as they get pushed so that people who don't get the update can update.

Interesting was I the only one who didnt have any issues with 4G downloading on the store? Initial setup of the phone I always had an issue but then it goes away.

no you can open it from your SD card just make sure you have the option selected to allow files from non market sources

I too, need this file. Upgrade to new firmware and can't restore it on the new firmware. Tried the flash in the market and nothing. If anyone can lead us in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

Google Play won't let me download it if I'm not logged in, and if I login with my account associated with my Galaxy S III, on my computer, it says "This app is incompatible with your T-Mobile Samsung SGH-T999". On my phone, it says "This item isn't available in your country".
Modaco's Flash Downloader let me install something (though it sounds like it's an old version), but Flash still didn't work after it was installed.
Finally I found this other thread that has a link to download 11.1-111115012: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1774336
That worked for me. (I'm guessing this is the same file other people in this thread have been passing around.)

It might. I have an idea, extract the apk, use apk multi tool and build it from a folder not an apk.

Should...and honestly...I can't see any improvements. But I did read somewhere else that it boosted someone up a bar or so as far as reception goes.
i also get an extra bar at work now (in a hospital) working good for me, ill see how it does at home vs older radio

Thanks. You're a legend. We spent all night trying to see if we could dump the entire system without root, unfortunately it had to be done. Were you able to fully unroot or was KNOX killing your root access?

Knox was killing SuperSU. So you pretty much couldn't do a thing without removing Knox it looked like. I was able to get TWRP installed with Odin which let me dump the files off the phone. DocHoliday is working on a stock odin to get the phone back to stock form. Man it was a long night dam Knox killing everything.
