[Q] SG3 T999 boot logo, but blank after that - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

My T-Mobile SG3 T999 has a blank/black screen after the "Samsung Galaxy S3" boot logo pops up. This happened after messing around on Pimp my Rom and I rebooted to implement some tweaks. Consequently the result mentioned now occurs. I can however get it into download mode and factory reset mode, so I know it's not completely gone. I tried to simply reflash my root software or whatever, that I had successfully done. It went through Odin and said pass, but still I have the black screen. Is there any advice for this situation? I am hoping to have more options or perhaps a guide for unbricking. I am downloading the stock rom for my phone, and will try to flash that, but I'm not really sure how that would fix it.
Any help would be very much appreciated!!

Can you boot into recovery? (Take battery put of phone, put battery back in, hold volume up, home button and power button until you feel the phone vibrate and you see blue text)
Does cwm show up (grey background) or stock recovery (black background)?

Boot stock recovery AFTER Odin flash and factory reset. Then try again.

No way out of this brick....tried for 7 hours..

Ok so basically, I rooted my phone yesterday. Installed cyanogen mod and cwm successfully. Didnt like cm....so I just flashed MIUI ontop of it (which was a stupid mistake and didnt think about it since it was early in the morning). So then I tried loading the stock rom ontop of that....no luck...then i tried loading another stock rom on top of it...no luck....and then another....no luck. Now I can only enter download mode with no way of entering recovery mode (which I was able to get into before but not after I installed like 3 stock roms)...Now when im in download mode, The custom binary download count is at 5....which im assuming is bad lol. Not only that, but i tried the "nand erase all" option on odin and still no luck....still stuck on the samsung glowing boot logo. Im ****ting my pants cause I just got this phone a week ago and cracked the screen the day before (first time every cracking a screen )...Goddamn android rooting is so much more complicated than jailbreaking the simplistic iphone (even though i fell in love with the s3 in just a week)
Soooo please Im shouting out to this community that has made so many guides (which i thank you for), but none were able to fix my problem .... Any suggestions? I can't do a factory reset either cause i cant even enter recovery mode...Im 100% sure that I used the correct ROMs and files for my att samsung i747
EDIT: I tried odining the stock ROM again (for like the 5th time) and now when I boot my phone, it gets past the 2nd screen (the samsung galaxy s3 screen) but blacks up right before the 3rd screen (the white att logo screen) and only shows a glowing green to blue LED at the top left. I am still able to enter download mode, but still not recovery mode even after odining cwm. Im up to a custom binary count of 8.

Ok let me rephrase it then. Ok yes I can odin back to stock. No i can't get past the samsung pulsating logo....and NOW i cant even get past the second screen and I freeze with a black screen and a blue LED right before when the att white logo screen is supposed to pop up. FML
HOWEVER i am now able to get into recovery mode so i atleast made some progress.

Wipe data/cache now that you can get into recovery. All will be fine.

Probably have to factory reset in recover after the Odin to stock to get it to boot up. It will erase the internal SD though.

No, it won't. Factory Reset does not touch the internal sd. It merely deletes app data. But what they said, Factory Rest, Wipe Cache/Dalvik. You'll be good to go. This is causing your hang up.
Use TWRP to wipe system and data-wipe (bottom left corner, forget exact name). Those two items usually help me when nothing else is working.
You can wipe your internal sd card by using twrp and going to wipe.

[Q] Soft Bricked and Phone Powers off. HELP.

My SGH-T999 (T-Mobile Galaxy S3) is soft bricked.
When i try to boot the phone, it vibrates and nothing else.
When I try to go into recovery mode, blue text appears in the upper left corner and nothing else. I use TWRP.
The phone can go into download mode, but the phone shuts down shortly after it boots into download mode.
This happened while trying to flash CM10.1.0 and GAPPS 20130313.
The battery is at full percentage. (checked on friend's phone)
Is there anything i can do?
You can boot into recovery but can't do anything after you do?

Since you say you can go into TWRP recovery, try this before doing anything else.
Go into TWRP recovery and do a "factory reset", "Wipe Cache" and "Wipe Dalvik Cache in TWRP recovery.
(do not wipe system yet)
Then reboot the phone see if it boots up all the way...
If it does then you should odin flash the new 4.1.2 Jellybean stock rooted rom before doing anything else.
If you cannot use the Windows Odin, install Mobile Odin on the phone so you can flash the Odin flash stock
rooted official Jellybean 4.1.2 rom. Let me know if you want more help....
My advice is and has been for a long time is not to flash any CM10/AOSP/AOKP or PORTED roms.
Those roms for the most part were always intended for developers who really know what they are doing.
They are also really excellent for any one who likes to do a lot of experimentation with their phones.
The above is just my personal opinion after my own experiences with the ASOP/AOKP/CM10 and PORTED roms.
Good luck!
My opinion is to read and flash things that don't have people complaining constantly, so look back and see which dates people were happy about the nightly or go to milestones instead or even RCs. To a point junky is right but they aren't for devs nor are ports since there are about 4 very stable ports in the dev section.

Sorry. I was working in Samsung Galaxy S3 Toolkit V7.00 and was up to rooting options and selected #1 Flash Insecure Boot Image and Root Phone. It ran its course and then rebooted but it has not been able to get past an occasional battery picture with a circle in the middle.

Have you tried leaving it in charge for a while, like 30 minutes without being touched. It sounds like your phone is just out of charge.

[Q] Phone stuck looping at boot - Jedi Mind

Today I tried to flash Jedi Mind Trick onto my S2. I followed all of the instructions but I am stuck looping at boot. I see the samsung screen, then the deviant developers screen, but then it loops again. A couple of times I have seen it go to a screen where there is a spinning circle. I am trying to get into Clockwork Recovery to access my nandroid backup, but it is not letting me get there. Anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Issue trying to update to 4.3

(Originally posted this in the wrong forum, so I am reposting here.)
I have the Galaxy Note II with T-Mobile.
Some background: It was running Android 4.1.2. I rooted my phone once, about two weeks ago, just so I could take an image of it in case of an update issue. (I think the software was called nandroid.) Once I took the backup, I unrooted it again.
Since then, doing the Software Update check under settings never returned any results. It would just keep checking until I clicked cancel.
Anyway, when T-Mobile released the 4.3 update Monday morning, I tried updating to it using the Kies software on my PC (by connecting it through the USB cable). It got up to about 60% installation and then just hung for over an hour. So I unplugged the phone, re-plugged it back in, and then attempted the emergency firmware recovery through Kies. It went through this and got upto 76% installation and then just hung again for another hour. I again unplugged it to re-try the emergency recovery again, but every time I connected the phone, Kies would not detect it again. I re-seated the battery, rebooted my computer, uninstalled and reinstalled Kies, but Kies would not detect my phone again.
I am/was running the stock rom, but my phone won't even boot into it's normal screen. Any time I turn it again, i see the screen--"there were errors during firmware upgrade. try emergency recovery in Kies."
I can't even figure out a way to get to a screen where I can install the image I took using Nandroid a few weeks ago.
Any help or advice anyone can provide would be extremely appreciated!
Use Odin to fix it.
If you can put your phone into download mode then it should be 'saveable' ..

I am able to put it into download mode. When I follow the instructions I found for Odin, the process seems to go smoothly. However, once my phone reboots, it stays on the "Samsung Galaxy Note II" screen (with the black background). I've left it like that for over 30 minutes, and it just stays on that screen.
Should there be another step I should be following?

Try installing SuperSU from Playstore
It has an option of doing a FULL UNROOT
I am sure that will help.
If not then install Rom Manager from PS
Through RomManager reboot in Recovery
1.) Wipe device 3x times
2.) Wipe cache 3x times
3.) Under advance you will Find Dalvik Cache -- wipe that 3x times
@@@@@@@@
But more importantly why would you want 4.3 stock anyway?
Install TWRP Recovery or ClockWorkMod recovery and install/Flash CM1 (Cyagonemod) or any other custom roms 4.4.x kitkat
Nothing is really working for me.
I can't boot into normal mode. I am able to get into "download" mode, but whenever I try to load an image using the Odin software (both a stock image and a Cyagonemod image), it starts to load the image, but just hangs a certain percent of the way through.
I also can't get to that screen where it gives you the text based options to wipe your device, cache, etc.
I've tried loading both TWRP recovery and ClockWorkMod recovery (through Odin), and though it seems to load properly (Odin says "Pass"), when the phone reboots, it goes to the "Samsumg Galaxy Note II" screen (the one with white text on a black background), and just stays there.
I've gotten T-Mobile to agree to send me a new phone. But if I can't get into any of the items I mention above, how can I make sure my old device is wiped before sending it back to them?
Just do this un root with chain fire root away app.
Then use triangle away app.
Then find 4.1.2 MB1 stock Odin tar. The complete package .
Odin to stock .
Reboot and then update via Ota.
You have to un root first and also have to triangle away which removes flash counter in Odin.
System modified status will not allow Ota.
That's the best suggestion I have

have you tried booting into recovery? after you load the custom recovery with odin and it reboots, pull the battery put it back, then hold vol up + home and then + power. hold all 3 until recovery. try a factory reset and reboot.

I have. It brings me to the same screen with the Samsung Galaxy Note II text on the black background and just stays there.
So, in summary, I can get into download mode (vol down+home+power), but it seems nothing else.
Try factory settings the phone through stock recovery and then check your phone status. It should say 'normal' but if it says 'modified,' download Triangle away and run the tracking setting (it'll make your phone say normal so you can download the OTA). Given you're on tmobile and your phone is the T889 model, check for software updates and install the OTA. Your phone will take a bit and will probably be stuck on the T-Mobile 4G boot screen for several minutes (it's normal). This should work.

[Q] Weird boot problem...Help!! [Solved]

Edit #2
Ok so I downloaded stock firmware from sammobile...and that corrected my problem. So I started fresh, by first installing Philz touch cwm...which seems to work fine and I could still at that point boot up normally.
However, upon attempting to flash a couple of different custom Roms(Deleterious and RocketTab), I am left with the same issue ("Since then, when I reboot, it shows the samsung logo, then goes black. Sometimes if I hit the power button, suddenly the screen appears. Sometimes it doesn't.").
Am I missing something? I'm only trying roms that are specifically for the sm-t210r....I've tried using three different recoveries...and I've been flashing roms...tons...since my original galaxy s phone. Simple stuff. So what the heck is going on?
I want a custom rom...lol...grrr Do these roms just not have bootscreens and I'm just being paranoid?
-----------------------------------
Ok so I just got my tablet and started searching for root methods..
I may have gotten a little ahead of myself, and using odin, I used this method:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2391367
Since then, when I reboot, it shows the samsung logo, then goes black. Sometimes if I hit the power button, suddenly the screen appears. Sometimes it doesn't.
I've tried a few different custom roms, using Philz cwm, and even tried using odin to flash a stock rom I found online(in an attempt to see if using odin would help.)
Same issue.
If it goes into the OS, it seems to run fine...but then more often than not when I reboot again the samsung logo appears, then black. Never to return.
I know it's not bricked but I don't know what else to try. Any suggestions would be great.
Im on sm-t210r..
EDIT:
Think this will work?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1840030
If so, how to I find the bootchain files for the sm-t210r? Or maybe the PIT? (from the second post...sounds more like my problem..)
Nevermind...apparently it was a kernel issue..
