Assumed it was modified to work with 3rd party launchers or stock custom rom launcher, but not working on either unfortunately.

I don't know whats going on but the link is correct. There is a link to my dev-host in my signature. The clock is located under Razr M "Themes & Apps".
Sorry for the inconvenience everybody.

I was able to flash the zip, but when I go to place the widget, it fails and tells me that it doesn't support third party launchers. I wasn't trying to put it on a third party launcher. Am I missing something?
Disregard. I downloaded the zip for the razr ultra launcher & clock zip.
Well I downloaded the correct file and it didn't work. All I got was the outline for the widget and the spinning circle as if it was trying to load. Who knows what I screwed up. Oh well.

Thanks worked great.
I think this is a beautiful widget. I wish there was any way to get it working with 3rd party launchers. Losing the clock widget was my only regret about using a different launcher.

I couldn't agree more. I have it on my GT2 as well as the 4.3 version on my RAZR M,but I am constantly switching back and forth between launchers, using the Motolauncher when I am done so that the clock is on my devices when I'm not using them

I extracted Motorola Launcher and Circle 3D Widget from Atrix HD stock ROM and modified these APKs a little bit to make them work on Galaxy Nexus.
How to install:
+ Extract zip file -> "system" folder -> open "system" folder -> 2 folders "app" and "lib"
+ Homescreen.apk, CircleWidget3D.apk, and Weather.apk in "app folder"
+ libnative_renderer.so and libtexture_mem.so in "lib" folder
+ Copy all files above into your SD card
+ Using Root Explorer to copy them to /system/app and /system/lib. Set permissions and reboot.
Everything works perfectly.

Can I just install the widget without the launcher? If not, I haven't done anything like this before, so what's the order of the permissions?
Sorry for both noob questions!

Circle 3D Widget only works with Motorola Launcher.
Copying those files to /system/app and /system/lib, set permissions as rw-r--r--, then reboot.

One small thing I've noticed is a pretty good amount of lag when switching back to home or toggling home page preview. Not sure if it's the mod or my ROM. Minco v5 with Franco r295.

I have no idea about which one is more stable and what differences between them are. Give it a try to see how it works.

I experienced the same problem when my Galaxy Nexus was on Codename Android 3.6.6. However, after I did a clean installation of Codename Android 3.8.0, the Circle Widget 3D and Motorola Launcher worked. I don't understand why.
Works very well in my Xperia S with ICS

How did you get the transparent nav bar?
This is nice. One of the few system launchers from another phone I actually like. The Messaging label on your screen is not cutoff but on my phone it is.
Theres an app on the market called One More Clock...has this same circle clock/weather
Anyone got the Play Library widget to work on this home screen? Says the widget size is 6c4 yet the launcher is only 4x4. Or anyone seen a resized widget? Cheers.

nova, apex, they are both custom stock 4.2.1 laucnhers
Thnx for sugestions.
Now lets get to original question, who can modify stock launcher?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Modding the stock launcher is pointless when you can replace it with Nova or Trebuchet, imo...
Nova barely takes less resources than stock launcher I heard..
The same was for me. Several weeks ago i asked to post launcher without search box, and was bombarded with answers about other launchers.
If i wanted to use nova or other i wouldnt ask to post modified one. Please be on topic
Nova, Apex and the rest are all modified stock launchers...

It's annoying to fork, mod and build a package just for one person and make a nice flashable zip for them too. Especially when other stuff is around which can do the same thing.
You could look into how to do it yourself. Then you'll know how to do so in the future. I think the better question to ask is how do I mod the launcher to how I see fit, rather then ask someone to do it for you. This is a development forum. I don't want to come off as condoning or anything, but I've found with all the info and resources on XDA, its better how to learn how to do something so that way one you can help out later in the future, or at least that's how I imagine this site is supposed to run.

How do you switch back if you don't like it? Is there an option to switch back and forth between launchers (as if you loaded Apex, etc)?
Probably would just need to find the app and clear the defaults

I guess I'm wondering if upon installing, will it ask which app I'd like to use (like when you install from play store - with one time or always) or if the zip automatically loads it as my default launcher.

Depending on how many launchers you have installed, it will ask you which one you want to keep "Always" or "Just Once".
Their is an app in play store that I use all the time called homesmack which let's u switch launchers on the fly for instance I have nova, apex,tw,and now this. With the click of a button I can change launchers.
