[Q] temp root or no binary found when using Super su - HTC One X

Hi,
I checked many articles on xda about it, but still nothing-
Problem is - when I check root perm. (root checker) it;s say me - cong. your phone have a root perm; ok, but when I want to update binaries via superuser of super su, it's going ok, but then : getting root permission - failure.
Whats there going on, have I to unlock bootloader, than root again?
It's update after OTA
stock: 4.2.2 / 4.18.401.2
kern: 3,1.10-g7f360be
superCID, S-Off
Thanks

OTA Kills ROOT...
You will have to uninstall supersu and flash it again using a custom recovery...

Unable to root stock Rom

Hi,
I've got some trouble to get a proper root mod on my phone. After i used some of the hints which can be found in this forum i didn't managed to get it running.
History of my mod-trys:
I got it running until i patched my stock Rom to the latest version via fota. (the feature pack for German roms)
Then i tried to go back to a stock Rom here at the forum - but with little success. I installed it but important not able to get the root mod running without errors.
This is a screenshot of superuser:

If i try to update i am getting an error.
Sadly i don't know what to do now to get this fixed. Iused many fresh installs / cleanup etc but everytime i install the update.zip via recovery - its messed up.

try to flash CWM with ODIN.. do not use adb shell because it needs root.. the try flash another ROM.. IT'S VERY RISKY.. I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOUR PHONE BRICKED
i've got cwm at the moment installed. As far as i understood the "root / unroot" thread it's not recommended to use this while rooting via recovery.
i used cwm to create a backup of my system and i rolled back it many times - so - thats working fine.
But my problem is that i don't find a suiteable custom rom for me - because it has to be "as stock as possbile". Meaning - i'm doing much development and testing with that phone - so it's not good if the mod can do things which i can't do with a stock rom. (Rooting is ok - i can handle that "mod" - if it works )
But i'm not firm enough with android core development to fix the root problem right now. Are there any manuals to use the "USB Debugging" Shell? I'm able to use that, too.
OR - if exsists - is there any _german_ stock rom out including the "value pack" addon? I just found a stock rom which is missing that. I guess there's coming with the value pack that causes rooting via update.zip going mad
i cant also root mine and i also have the value pack update but before i had the value pack i can still root my phone :CC

Rooted BUT apps detect that i am NOT.

Okay my problem is that some Apps detect that i am not rooted ( when i am actually ).
I used CF Auto Root -->> Installed TWRP with GooManager -- >> Flashed Infamous S4 -->> Customized my SGS4 with 3Minit & Nottach Xposed. If i wasnt rooted i wouldnt be able to even use TWRP/ 3Minit / Nottach right ?
BUT the problem is some apps detect that i am not rooted:
I was trying to get Adaway / AdFree to work but they both say im either not rooted or cant find su binary.

}
SuperSU doesn't even pop up when i try to use AdFree/AdAway ( also re-installed 5+ times ).
Even Root Checker Detects that my phone IS NOT rooted.
But i do have SuperSU Pro and my phone IS rooted ( Other Apps can access Root also)
So i dont understand why these apps are saying im not rooted when i am.
Anyone know how i can fix this ?
Update super user, perhaps?

Shouldnt it be updated . I got the latest infamous S4 rom and installed SuperSU pro a few hours ago.
Also, i just looked in the play store and there isnt any new updates for SuperSU.
Solution found. Xprivacy was blocking certain apps that looked suspicious . Didn't even give me a notification that it blocks those apps.
The su binary are not present flash differant su one the includes the binary files

Good afternoon, I got this indian rom 4.3 and noticed that there is some issues with rooting.
installed philz_touch_6.00.8-n7100.tar using odin. pressed root device.
And now from google play reinstalled SUPERSU.
In supersu got message KNOX is blocking some actions do you want to disable it. I pressed YES
NOW MY QUESTION IS : can i manually uninstall all KNOX related apps using SYSTEM APP REMOVER ?

KNOX void flag is still tampered!
- delete the old su app, or reflash the stock fw
- get CWM recovery
download this:
http://download.chainfire.eu/372/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.86.zip?retrieve_file=1
reboot into recovery(CWM) and flash it
reboot and start the new superSU app

[Q] S3 not wanting to go all the way through with rooting process. Please Help.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S III that is an SPH-L710. It is currently not activated. I am rooting using the CF-Auto-Root method:
This isn't my first time rooting an S III, but this is the first time that I ran into this problem.
What I did:
1) Factory Reset the phone.
2) Rooted using Odin and CF-Auto-Root. Odin says Pass!
3) SuperSU is not installed.
4) Installed Root Checker and it says that the device is not rooted.
5) Install SuperSU through the Play Store and states that there is not a SU binary installed.
I have tried to push it through multiple times, with and without USB Debugging, and still the same issue. Also when I try to enter the Boot Recovery Menu I get CF-Auto-Root going through again.
Thank you in advance.
