Restore Angry Birds Star Wars - Verizon HTC One (M7)

So, I have the HTC One, mine is not unlocked, I was just a few hours too late apparently I know I can send it to Sonic for s-off, but I'm holding out for now. Anyway...
Is there a way to restore my saved progress on Angry Birds Star Wars from my Rezound? The Rezound is s-off, unlocked, custom ROM, etc...

Try Helium bsckup, can be found in the play store. It will backup data in many applications without root.

Yea, all the Angry Birds are fairly similar, and since I don't have a lot of spare time, I just stick with the Star Wars version, one of my favorites. I let the kids play the regular Angry Birds in Kid Mode. Great time killer if you're sitting around waiting on something.

GetJar

They are giving away apps that are usually paid apps.
Examples:
SwiftKey X
Beautiful Widgets
They are legit, GetJar is working with app developers to do this. I'd post the apks, but i dont feel like dealing with the people who will tell me im giving warez out. However, install this and use it to get the apps. http://db.tt/7xbbJ7Cp

I like getjar, in theory. I just wish their site was easier to navigate, and they published updates to their apps.
Weird but if you uninstall getjar some apps don't work anymore they say they are part of getjar gold and you need getjar installed. Fortunately beautiful widgets isn't one of them. I only uninstalled getjar because it always stays in ram as 10mb

They are legit. Usually you get an older version but its a great way to try out the full version. Just like Amazons free app of the day you can't update from Android Marketplace.

Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk
send me your e-mail and I'll send it to you if you want. I mean I don't know if that's morally wrong but if you did download it when it was free and just didn't back it up I don't think it would be wrong would it? I have the SwiftKey X from GetJar when it was free. I don't want to do anything to hurt developers so if anyone feels this would be wrong if he's already downloaded it but didn't back it up let me know. I do believe in supporting developers. Funds are a little tough for me right now which is why I look for the GetJar specials or Amazon daily free apps.
I am starting to rethink Amazon though. I've heard stories that they take advantage of developers. Any info would be appreciated. I'll stop going there if they aren't being fair with developers there.

Oh, and if anyone hasn't tried TouchPal Keyboard I would at least give it a shot. Right now its free in the Market I think until the end of the month but after that they may charge for it. I've been using it for a day now and I really do like it. Very much like SwiftKey X. What's great is if you follow them on Twitter and "Like" them on Facebook you will get lifetime free upgrades. Hard to beat that. I'm going back and forth with the two and its a little tough to really decide yet. I like them both especially in landscape mode and they both work well with the slide out keyboard.
There's nothing wrong with giving it away.

Hey Counterfeit, as long as it doesn't raise any moral issues just click on my name and send me a private message so you don't have to put your e-mail out in public and I'll send it out to you.

You got my first app thanks since GetJar allowed me to get Tapatalk. Quite an upgrade!
ETA: happened to notice with all its advantages that Tapatalk was noticably slower. Checked the "3G Compatibility" option in settings and that seems to help quite a bit with no noticable drawbacks (and I'm on Wifi right now).

What about if you use Titanium Backup to force the market link or whatever it's called? Would this then attach it to the market so you could update from there?

Doesn't work, I tried doing this back while Applanet was up and it still asks you to buy it even though it's already installed

Want a TON of free games?

Guys (and gal):
I found this a while back, (and disregard it if you already know about it), but on
international SGS2's there's an app that comes w/the phones that's called "Samsung Apps", and it's for Samsung's own market for apps, I guess for phones in countries that don't get full access to the Android Market.
Anyway, if you install that, you get access to all those apps, and there are free versions of apps that are either usually paid apps on the Android Market, or free versions of games that don't even exist on the Android Market. Right now there are a LOT more games available than there used to be, as well:
For example, games I got for free just last night:
Assassin's Creed HD
Monopoly "Here and Now"
Modern Combat 2
Heavy Gunner
Spiderman HD
Avatar
Gangstar: Miami Vice
Dungeon Hunter 2 HD
Brothers in Arms 2 HD
Galaga
Time Crisis 2
Bang Bang Racing
Hero of Sparta HD
EDIT:
I forgot to list
Samurai II: Vengeance
Roboto HD
and
Commando
(get Commando, for sure:
Commando is a blast.)
EDIT 2:
NOT Commando,
Commando Sucks.
I meant "Artillery Brigade".
THAT game rocks.
(Sorry for the mixup)
Now, some of these are demos, with the option to get the full version afterwards, but at least you can try those out using this method. (Oh, yeah: There are more than just games on the Samsung App Market, of course... I was just in the mood for games.
Here's the app for the "Samsung Market", and it's gonna upgrade itself after you install it:

I should be the one that's thanking you: I dunno where you got it, but I totally stole my new Christmas Avatar from you: (I gave you a heads-up in that other thread.)
btw, I don't really care about the thanks button, except for the fact that it can sometimes help you out when you'd normally be getting a reprimand from a moderator...

What do you mean by malware? It would seem surprising that angry birds would have it. But always make sure you check the permissions of apps before installing. If something looks odd, don't install.

It's really not that hard to avoid malware in the Play Store.
Answer this question. Do you click links from strangers or those facebook message links that say "Hey, look at these photos of you i [email protected][email protected]!!"
If you answer yes, then you need an antivirus
If you answer no, then you are smart enough to be without one.
No in pretty cautious about what I download or open. Only thing I am worried about is when I download an app from the play store and I don't know who developed it

Malware is such a misused term.
Malware means malicious software. What exactly did you find malicious about the latest Angry Birds?

I can't remember where I heard about it at. It was about a fake publisher of angry birds having malware in their app. Maybe apple trying to slow android sales lol
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA
A fake publisher then. Not Angry Birds specifically. Gotta watch that stuff. If Angry Birds ain't from Rovio, then don't trust it.
if its downloaded from the playstore then your pretty safe unless they use stupid permissions, which will just allow them to push stuff to your phone u dont want like ads, ruin ur battery life, ect. Sounds like your smart enough to not have to worry about falling for that stupid stuff though, so I'd say no, U do not need an AV
I don't think so.
though Gnex's hardware is good enough, but first:
AntiVirus apps would caused a poor performance and drain the battery.
second: I don;t think that there are so many android virus that you need to install antivirus apps.

Asphalt 7 [GOOGLE PLAY VERSION]

Has anyone been able to hack the play version? ive tried everything with no success! The titanium backups wont show in titanium backup app etc, GG and GameCIH wont change anything on the app nothing seems to stick etc
Please help :fingers-crossed:
By hack are you referring to stealing a paid app

You're exactly right. Which is why we don't cheat without prior completion of the game.
Seeing as how I've beaten A7, I see no reason to leave it alone. Why not have fun with it?
See what all you can modify and mess with. Just a thought..
~ZerO
I also would love to hack block breaker HD to work again... I bought the game but now it closes right after checking licence.
Its his personal choice, thats like saying why we would root our phones as soon as we get it (I know most of us are guilty of that). Dont be so quick to judge, arent we a community of believing we deserve to do whatever to the hardware and software we own?
Its my purchased game from the play store at the time of posting this thread I could not get any hack to work with GG or GameCIH so I wondered if it had been patched in the PS release. I have now managed to hack the coins but not the reputation or stars, the reputation force closes and the stars don't stick any ideas?
PS to the people who feel hacking a game to win etc is pointless, i bet youve cheated in GTA once in your life?
