When I bought my kindle fire hd 8.9" I installed the dolphin browser and also the flash player for ICS and all was well. I used to watch live sports via cricfree with no problems at all. I used to wait for the advert to count down and then close down any others without a hitch. Now when I try and access the webpage it gives me the normal home screen but if I select a channel it does not fully upload and 'freezes' causing me to have to re-boot the kindle. Something has definitely changed as all my other kindle owning friends have the same problem. Has anyone managed to overcome this and if so how ??

I get an error on a website exclusively on Kindle Fire's Silk browsers, and I want to see what the cause is. I've searched the web and tried certain things, but none worked. I just bought the amazon fire tv stick a week ago when it came out in the UK everything was working fine then all of a sudden today when i went to use the youtube app and cast a video from my laptop onto the fire tv stick it wouldn't load anything and on my laptop it would play even if i press the play button it wouldn't do anything. i tried it with my android device as well it just kept saying connecting. does anyone else have this problem? or is there a way i can fix it.

New Fire stick received today. Installed the Fire Remote app on my iPad, it just keeps searching for Fire devices and hangs forever. Both the Fire stick and iPad are on the same wifi network, and ran the latest software update on the stick. Anything I can do to get this working? Tried on my iPhone, same result.
Maybe do a factory reset on the Fire stick.
By the way, can you confirm if the new fire stick has updated specs compared to the first model?
I feel mine is too slow and want to update.

I'm trying to mirror from my TV to my Amazon Fire TV as well as use WIFI-Direct. I've made sure they are both on the same network and the TV picks up the Fire TV. I select connect and it's sending a message to the Fire TV asking permission. After I've selected for it to be approved nothing happens and the Samsung TV in the living room (right on the other side of the wall from the Fire TV) just keeps trying to connect.
Any ideas? I've searched and searched to see what OS my TV is running and I can't find it anywhere, there are quite a few apps available so I'm not sure if its a custom version of Android or not.
I'd greatly appreciate any help or assistance anyone can give me. I've also noticed a network which is available called Direct-3F-FireTV-8b54 but have no idea of a default login or password.

I had sideloaded Directv for tablet app onto my 2nd gen Fire TV Stick running latest version and successfully login to my account. However, the app is keep crashed randomly every time I run the app. it is a matter of time, sometime it crash during navigation within the app, sometime during streaming LiveTV.
Anybody had same problem with me? Please let me know how to get rid of it. Is it crashed because of Fire TV stick have lower spec than Fire TV so that it can't handle Directv app? Does Fire TV handled it well?
