The case is for Xperia Z not Z1. The price is pretty outrageous as well. For 140$ you could get 10 different branded cases.

At IFA in Berlin this year when the Z1 was announced there were wooden cases behind glass for the Z1. I think there may have been a past model for the Z.

Good for us looking for cases for day 1 protection just seen MobileDen and MobileFun have the FlexiShield cases in stock, guess if we are spending £500 at least we should give this baby some protection for now!

How is this a TPU case?
Just recently heard about these, so I don't know much about them, but it doesn't seem like this is a TPU case.
it sure looks like one, TPU is a kind of polyurethane plastics which holds up great not like the old silicone case which lost it's shape pretty quickly

Ordered SG2 from clove, will probably arrive by next week friday (hopefully...Hungary is not *that* close lol) and will start with this case in the first minute

Thanks for the link I just bought the purple one from them as like a bit of colour and it's only £1.95 so can always get a different one if I don't like it lol
As for the case in the OP it's already had a negative review for being too slippery so I hope this one isn't the same. I'm a Capdase user for my HD2 and was hoping there'd be one available for the SII but there's not just yet so this one will do till it becomes available. Thanks again.

Just picked up a DK39 at the Sony centre in Newcastle. Hoping it will work for a Z1 phone as well, but seeing as they sell the DK31 for that, I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't

Ah, thanks for the heads up. I was going to pick one up today, but I've got a bumper case on my Z1. I'll just stick to the DK31 instead then.
Does the DK39 work, or have an adapter that works, with the Z2 Tablet encased in a thin TPU case (with cutouts for the charging pins)?
All bumpers that i find are metal, which means that are bulky and need screws to fit...
When i used to own a iphone 4 , i had a plastic ultra thin bumper that would not add any extra size...it was about 0.3mm
Is there something like that for Z1?

i ordered this one, still waiting for it to arrive. there isn't a hole for the magnetic pins so that sucks. i might make a hole in it.
besides this one, there aren't good bumpers for this phone..
I had one of those bumpers in picture, it was terrible and did not hold on the phone at all. Hopefully they already found a way how to improve them.

Has anyone here encountered a skin for this phone? And when talking about skin, I mean products similar to Dbrand-skins. I'm not extremely happy with carrying my phone in a case as it's much more beautiful without it, but still, I want to protect the back aswell as it won't be as slippery. And if not, how does the Z3+'s back compare with the regular Z3 in terms of dimensions? Could it be possible to buy a Z3-skin? I would prefer using Ebay if there are anything for our phone, but I welcome everything

I also bought one from AliExpress. It is "Nillkin frosted cover for Xperia Z3 plus Z4". It is good quality and fits very well.
If you want like clear TPU case, it should be "NILLKIN Ultra Thin Transparent Nature TPU Case for Sony Z4".
NILLKIN is well known quality brand. So hopefully you won't face any problem and will be happy.
Why don't you buy a tempered glass from amazon? I tried some manufacturers and i must say they are all good quality and you can buy it for the front and back

I can heartily recommend these. A tad pricey at €19 and I'm not sure how much shipping costs abroad, but I have the walnut one and it's fantastic. Looks and feels great and if you apply it correctly (which is super easy to do) it looks like it's part of the phone and not an aftermarket skin. Plus you can add free engravings!
