Req Cam app from XPERIA V. on XPERIA S ??

The cam app on XPERIA V is really fine i think...
Can we perhaps get that on XPERIA S?

What? You can't port everything from V. The V camera, except for all those fancy stuff, is basically just like T one. This port has many V libs, and HDR is just in auto mode. It will improve quality.
How it isn't for anyone?

Not for everyone due to bugs maybe

I also would love the original V one, mainly because of the separate HDR mode, still, make do with CyberShot 4.7.2 for now though

well, i found one, it works but HDR not included. The superior auto and picture effect work. By the way, the 3D camera cannot be found after flash it.......

Thanks mate. This is working on my Xperia Acro S . And it seems it's doing good.

Well iw got problem with this...after flashing V camera zip im getin fc when launching camera. Any suggestions?

clear the cache?

Try removing semccamera.apk and the 3d one out from /system/app and place them at /system. Reboot then place them back at /system/app. Worked for me

May be the photosphere stiching is a bug. That is because its a leak and not offical.
But the new interface looks cool

Yup the new interface looks really great ...

You can use balli's mod for photosphere camera and gallery where u can see full 360 view of image clicked from camera

I was about to make a thread myself about this.
Anyone getting the "Application not Installed" message while installing this like a normal apk, follow the steps:
-> Take a backup of Gallery2.apk (from /system/app) using a root explorer.
-> Delete Gallery2.apk from /system/app.
-> Install the new apk like a normal app.
Tested on CM10.1.
Only thing missing imo - no feature to use External SD card as the storage for camera.

I have tried using photo sphere on 4.1.2 but to my badluck it didnt work perfectly alwaz some prob in stitching ....
But when I installed 4.2.2 and tried to use the same photosphere application on new operating system .... its just worked brilliantly ... 10/10

Just download and install the apk in OP. This will give you a new camera app with photosphere in it.

Uninstall the app using titanium backup or any root uninstaller.

I installed this to my s4 and got 13mp option in camera, its working fine.
I guess it supports 13mp camera and no 12mp support.
I will trh this to my SL later...

Working on my SL hut 8mp only.
On my s4 there is 13mp cam but its very slow opening the app.
The UI is very bad.

so i was reading this and yeah, even on the GE devices there's no save to external sd option might as well wait for an update
