Guys please note that i don't test all the builds so please report if you have any issue.

Did it by myself last night. One issue though. No dock battery indicator.
Otherwise works like a charm!
Keep up the good work.

No dock here so i can't test but a widget should do the trick, i guess. Much better than having PhoneUI on a 10.1 inch tablet imo.

Just a word of warning; it works with PAC-Man ROM, doesn't work with Grimlock ROM (both bars disappear)

OP updated with the patch for the 18/10/2013 build.

[ROM][IML74K][4.0.3] CM 9 experimental Build [2/29/12]

Code:
** These CyanogenMod builds are highly experimental and unsupported.

** a thermonuclear war, don't point at us. We'll laugh at you.
** You decided to make this modifications to your Phone.
**
** Please refrain from submitting bug reports for any issues
** you may encounter while running one of these builds.
**
** Submitting bug reports on experimental builds is the leading
** cause of male impotence.
IMPORTANT NOTES
This is a experimental Build of the current state of CyanogenMod 9 for the Samsung Epic 4G Touch.
CM 9 is based on latest AOSP sources plus some usefull tweaks and features.
CyanogenMod 9 is still under heavy development,
There are still a lot of settings and features missing, simply be patient.
If something doesn't work like expected, it's your problem. Don't ask about any fixes.
These are experimental builds and not meant to used as a daily driver.
They're only meant for testing!
Known Issues with this build:
- Signal bars may not be accurate
- and I'm sure there are others I'm missing
Installing CM9 for the first time:
- Make sure you're running a proper working CWM like the one from CM7
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM9 zip
- Flash Gapps
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your calendar sync will not work) DO NOT WIIPE SYSTEM or the assert script will fail
- Reboot
- Don't restore Apps using Titanium Backup!
Updating from a previous build:
- Copy CM9 ZIP to your internal SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM9 zip
- Flash Gapps
- Wipe cache partition
- Reboot

I just wanted to post what I compiled while we wait for the big guns to put something together. Also, it's nice to have pristine builds too.
Oops. Double post. My bad.
I wonder if I can scare up that patched 'google now' apk somewhere off here, and we can install that over everything, until we get a proper JB set of GAPPS working?
Awesome, that was fast. Nice job!

Oh poop. I didn't even realize that wasn't working. I was just happy to have market. I guess it stands to reason that Google Now would be a gapps app :\

That would make sense. Shouldn't we just be able to pull it from one of the hacked JB roms that we have all been using?
You are trying to use ICS GAPPS on JellyBean, thats probably why there is no Google Now.

Speaking of build.prop tweaks, this is worth reading Examining build.prop tweaks. Some so-called tweaks could actually be detrimental, while others are not even used.
This is not to discourage the development of this ROM. Just some thoughts to be more judicious in taking in the so-called performance improvements found and propagated on various forums and blogs.

Battery consumption is not as good as in B229, but still acceptable
EMUI is not everyone's taste
You have to install it with stock recovery

B708 JB - CHINESE, EMUI 1.6
Pros:
The first STABLE Jelly Bean firmware
EMUI is at 1.6 version, so it is not so ugly as in the first release
You can flash an ATX version via CWM/TWRP already rooted and with gapps.
Cons:
[FOR STOCK ROM]
Gapps not included, since it is a chinese version.
You have to download a language pack enabler (http://www.android-hilfe.de/attachm...6231-firmware-b708-jb-china-all-lang-b708.zip)

SOME ADVICES FOR THE NEWBIEST
HOW TO FLASH A CUSTOM ROM
Do a backup of your apps (you can use Titanium Backup, Helium Backup, App2Zip,... obviously you need root; if you came from a stock firmware: either you root it, or you can use Huawei Backup, but don't forget to find also a way to backup this app or to download it in order to restore your apps after the flash)
Do a Nandroid Backup, ie a full backup with CWM/TWRP. To flash or emulate a custom recovery, if you don't know how to do it, you can use my tool (useful also for other stuff)
Wipe cache, dalvik and data (sometimes you need to wipe /system too)
Install zip from sdcard... (in twrp just "Install") > Select the rom
Reboot
PS: if you are UPGRADING to the newest version from the same rom (ex. MK 44.2 09/03 -> MK 44.2 02/04) you don't have to wipe neither data nor system, unless the same chef suggest to do it
HOW TO FLASH A STOCK ICS/JB FIRMWARE
Do a backup of your apps (you can use Titanium Backup, Helium Backup, App2Zip,... obviously you need root; if you came from a stock firmware: either you root it, or you can use Huawei Backup)
If you have flashed a custom recovery, go back to the stock recovery, or it won't work. If you don't know how to go back, you can use my tool (useful also for other stuff)
Download the intermediate pack
Create a folder in your sd and rename it "dload"
Copy the intermediate pack's update.app in dload
Create another folder in your sd and rename it "dloadold"
Download the stock firmware and place update.app in dloadold
Be sure that you have more than 85% of battery
Turn off the phone and reboot it pressing - and holding - vol+, vol- and power
The recovery will do the rest. At the end you will have the intermediate fw.
Now open the default file manager: delete dload and rename dloadold in dload.
Repeat the step 9.
PAY ATTENTION: If you download the JB Chinese version, remember that it's in chinese language! Anyway, you can flash with custom recovery a language enabler pack (download it here)

[ROM] AP_V5 by Mcdonald
Reformulated rom, purged of most of Huawei and with very little customization.
Base B315/534
The rom has stock toggles, brand new bootanimation, e-mail and generic Huawei.
Free ram always above the 400 mb,
very fast and slightly modified kernel.
Charging Animation works.
Rom_V3: http://dh.st/HmK
Add on: http://dh.st/I5U
Update_V5: http://dh.st/8PZ
Full wipe, flash V3, addons, and start the phone, configure and after flash v5_update.
Important as always you first set up the apn.

Finally, I was hoping there is a thread like this for Ascend p1 in xda. And now I found it :victory:
I have read in another forum that CM 10.1 by faust and maxrink are the most stable and all fully working.
I'm downloading CM 10.1 by faust right now.
By the way, here is another stable ROM and most fully working for daily use:

Updated!
PS: what do you mean with gray boxes (I'm saying: to do what? xD)
To highlight text, under the title for example.. I've just discovered this function.
PS: the AP v5?
there is also a Marismillas b534 with additional governor and features (if someone remove the emui gUi & apps.. it will be ok!)

Aaaaaah ok, if there will be an occasion to use it I'll do 4 ex I was thinking to add pros and cons of every ROM and l could put them in these grey boxes.. besides it, when I have more time I'll add marismillas one (are you sure it works well? I didn't tried it: if you know that it is a good ROM without important bugs I'll add it in the next edit Remember that thread's title is "All the GOOD-WORKING ROMs for p1")
Oh, why have I to put AP5? Isn't AP7.5 better? (I don't know, I'm asking )

Will be great if you write after every ROM, the date when you updated it lastly.
This is just advice, because for example, everyone see when you change the first post, but no one knows wich ROM and link to it, you update

I suggest you to flash the AP 7.5.3 !
the best choose for radio-FM lovers and Android Pure fun. It is very smooth and stable. I use it from 3 months and works very well (70+ user apps). Kernel b705 will be updated to 707 in January to solve HUAWEI video forwarding bug (and probably increase battery performance).
Emui was been suppressed, you find the Classic firmware-based Ui.
Battery life more improved, very very good work.
(Looking at next major update with b707)
AP v7 is the way.
Happy Christmas

All these roms are really stable... Often it's a personal "taste".
According to me, I prefer B704_ATX, CM10.2 and AP7.5.3
I remember that bt not works properly in slimbean and CM10.2/CM11 based roms.. Are you sure that these are working fully ?

In the last version Spanorg fixed a lot of issues related to Bluetooth.. Regarding CM11, yes it is true that Bluetooth doesn't work, but for the rest it is really stable so why not insert it in this guide? And yes, Slimbean is stopped at the v7 but almost it is pretty fluid

Finally, thank you so much.
Do we need to update to latest TWRP or should 2.7.1.0 work? Had issues on other devices using ver 2.8.0.0.
** After testing everything works fine, great work !!!
I'm on 2.8.0.0 - it's working correct for me. But it also should work on 2.7.1.0.

From my Fired-up Note Pro 12.2!
Sweet! I sort of feel like this tablet has now arrived If possible, could someone who has it up and running give us a quick overview of things like spped, responsiveness, battery etc?
I just flashed this ROM it is running very smooth I am running it with art and nova launcher and very impressed so far, I can't comment on battery yet will test it out tomorrow I have been waiting a very long time for a cm11 ROM for this tablet and would also really like to see a slim or carbon ROM as well
Update header: add V1 version - now SPen working correct in vertical mode.
Hi, thank you for this ROM. Is app to sd working?
Now there is a chance to actually use it. I ll wait for the mtp to get fixed though. Thanks!
First of all, thank you for the port.
Installed V1, full wipe using TWRP 2.8.0.0
Everything seems to be working fine so far. The only issue I'm concerned about is how the Interactive governor is tuned. The CPU spends most of it's time pegged at 1900MHz across all four cores even when just scrolling through Facebook or Chrome. Changing the governor to Ondemand makes it behave much better. Battery life would be an issue on Interactive.
Edit: also, on first boot I couldn't see my 5GHz access points. Changed the WiFi Region code in settings to my country (Canada), rebooted and could now see/connect to 5GHz channels.
I've only been running it for a couple hours, so I'll give more feedback as I get more data.
New V2 version: mtp fixed.
Noooooooooo
I want it but i have p905

Hi Valera1978,
This is not for my device, mine is a 905, but thanks for bringing some movement to this forum and of course, thanks for your hard work supporting this tablet. I believe some more months and we'll see more ROMs posted here.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Dirty flashed V2. Can confirm MTP working with Win8.1 (only internal storage mounts, but not external sdcard)
Works really well, nice and smooth. I'm surprised to see such a great ROM, thanks.
Ahh! Finally some movement on this device! I will flash this as soon as i get up tomorrow and post some feedback.:good:
This Rom is huge, after testing 2 days, I can say it s fast, smooth, better battery life, even gaming performance is better than Samsung stock crap installation. And look.... we got more free space.I kinda miss the pointer under the pen but that just a matter of time . Great work.
