hi, for many days, i was using the next launcher..
but now i decided to revert back to xperia launcher..
the problem is that, i can no longer add clock widgets..
they do not appear the widget page..
i checked in the root, and a clockwidgets.apk is present..
what should i do??
Why do you put clockwidgets.apk on root directory?
Move it to /system/app with permission rw-r--r-- / 644

Could someone please explain how to replace the standard cm7 camera app with the camera app from miui?
I'd be very grateful cheers.
David
you need to use root explorer or something similar. Copy the file over to where your camera.apk is and change the permission of the miui.apk to the same as the camera.apk.
Or if you have god mode on your rom, make it read write before you do this
with root explorer, put .apk in the /system/app and change his permission fot the same you have in camera.apk (just look what permissions it have and set miui as the same way).

Does he also has to rename the camera.apk to camera.apk.bak or he can just have both appls?
Also when I add the miui camera, I rebooted the phone in order to see the icon in app drawer

you can have both camera installed ..
I have the stock widget for the clock, but I would LOVE to have it fully transparent. I know these are in themes, but I am on completely stock at the moment.
If someone could please post the apk file I would really appreciate it.
Thank you.

i was bored and drunk tonight so this may or may not work for ya (worked for me on starburst 1.5)
http://www.multiupload.com/UXPU06DBMI
is the stock DIGITAL CLOCK .apk with the background set to clear. i didnt check the rom you linked to but i think this may be what you wanted.
so to clarify.
this is the stock DigitalClock.apk with the background set to transparent instead of the semi transparent grey.
to install
::::
replace DigitalClock.apk in system/app
with this .apk
i would probably rename orig DigitalClock.apk in system/app to something like DigitalClock.apk.old or DigitalClock.apk.bak
this will require root and access to the /system/app folder in write mode.
several programs can achieve this i personally used ES FILE EXPLORER (free market)
hope this helps.
--mike (oh yea by .... ME lol. just edited res/drawable/bg.png no other changes)
EDIT
using es file explorer to accomplish this...
SETTINGS>>>
(1) set HOME DIRECTORY to /
instead of /sdcard/
(2) check both ROOT EXPLORER and MOUNT FILE SYSTEM check boxes
then just copy and paste as normal
after copy .. may require a reboot and re-adding the clock widget to whatever screen you wish.
**REQUIRES ROOT to install**

Awesome dude it looks tight as hell. Thanks everyone! We should start a thread doing all of the TouchWiz Widgets like this. Like the calendar, accuweather, etc.
I saw that other post that had all of the different ones, but we should do it for the stock themers here for them to build off of.

first mod i did when i rooted. glad you got it though. would have posted it too.
I have this in my proton and black dusk themes AND I've themed the weather to clear too. All you have to do is extract the apks and use the method above to put them on your phone....
Can someone upload this clock again, please?
All Links on Multiupload are down.
Thanks

u can use another launcher as default so u dont c trecuchet at all but if u wanna remove the app completely then i assume u shall put the other desired launcher in the system/app to make sure ur system wont crash if smthn goes wrong in the data partition

it doesn't reply at all, is it possible to replace default launcher or not?
Yes. You just need to install another launcher and set it as default.
Download the apk of the launcher you want to use as the replacement
Go to /system/app
Remove the Rom's Launcher. EX: CM9-10/Trebuchet, MIUI/MIUI Home
Add the apk you downloaded earlier, set permissions for that apk to rw-r-r
Reboot and enjoy
And if you're just asking if it would crash the rom or not...........Then No, it won't crash or mess up anything

Remove the old launcher in system/priv-app (with .odex) !do not forget about backup! and paste this (permissions rw- r-- r--). And install the theme.

Thanks for sharing. Can you confirm that the Lock Screen Widgets as well as themed pattern unlock work. Does the music widget work without issues in the lock screen..

Could you upload your optimus theme in system/app? because we can't find the option to change themes in the lg e980 maybe the one you have does have it?
Works great but how do you theme the drop down menu, that still looks like OG Pro? any way to make it look like G3 drop down?
Its a themed KitKat launcher is all it is people. Try KCin launched or one of the 3859695926496 KitKat launcher apps in the market.
