what case/cover do you use

HI ALL
im making a thread here to see what everyone uses for there cover/case
my first case was a sort of see through (clear) gel/silicon one off ebay. i guess it was cheap china make.....
it has now gone a dull shade of yellow and its just not nice....
ive now after realising my error bought a very nice TERRAPIN LEATHER FLIP CASE COVER

its very well made and it even has little pockets inside for sd cards and stuff
very happy customer.....
so yeah to everyone else what have you used to protect your little bundle of job

Same here. Only $3 bucks from ebay. It gives the feeling of more grip and a bit heavier to handle. The phone was very slippery and super light. Now its balanced

Melkco leather flip case jacka type..

Tpu gel cases for me..dun intend to spend big bucks on them since I be changing phone every 6 months.

I'm using a gloss white Barely There Casemate case, doesn't add much extra bulk and gives it some nice white lines along the sides.

Could you take some pictures of the Arc in the Barely There Casmate case? Seems to be the only case that will look okay for me, but would love to see some pics that are not made by the seller.

I saved the original battery cover and bought one from ebay that I use. The phone still looks new except that I need to replace the original screen protector.
I hope Arc replacement will better Nokia N9 in simplicity. I just got N9 and I find it makes my Arc look ugly :-(

is it really neccessary to have a leathercase when you're using a screenprotector SGP steinheil anyway? cos i lost mine.. -.-

i dont use any.. well because i dont want the phone's width to be increased
just a screen protector , nothing else..

I have bought these two cases and thought i'll share my views for my friends here:
Elago G4 Handmade Genuine Leather Skin Case:
I saw this on ebay and ordered one on 25th march.The total cost including shipping to UAE was $57.I got it on 4th april.And i was disappointed.

The leather was having dark spots here and there and was having a worn out look.
The upper part of front masked the samsung logo and worse,it was not tight fitting.The case was almost 4-5mm lifted up from the phone screen.
The top of case and all 4 corners are open and makes the Note vulnerable to scratches.(of corse,its a design requirement)
The leather is soft but a little slippery
Capdase Alumor Jacket :
I ordered this from a local online store for $24 and got it next day
sadly only the red color was available,but i love this case.
the back is metal and finish is topnotch
i have noticed no fall in signals or increased battery consumption because of metal case.
grip too is good.
but the screen protector is of bad quality;it was getting dirty with fingerprints and attracting dust,very difficult to clean too.But the screen protector supplied with elago is top notch and stays clean

Thank you for this review, I am so glad I read it before purchasing. It looked so much better on the ad I saw, they couldn't even spell sophistication right.

My GPS reception was fine using alumor jacket
Overall it's a good protector

Moto G Hard case review : the cheap one

Many people prefer Trident or OtterBox cases, and they are right.
But that cost 20€+, and that was more than i could pay :

I have one of these on all my devices..very user friendly, can flip around and use the device while in the beltclip..very slim and light weight, and great protection..very easy to clip into your pocket, slide device out and use without the clip..or use device in the clip, propt in landscape or portrait mode, for watching movies also..I have had the Krakens and all those fancy / expensive cases..but I finally found my true love for a case..unless you work in construction, or heavy duty..this case is the perfect choice..

Recently bought Pink version for girlfriend's peregrine, will post a review soon :

l buy it in green
l buy that case in green color is very nice and thanks to this case my moto g still alive.
l buy it for 18 USD on a local store, here all the tech is very expensive and limited.

Is it the silicone that is green or the hard plastic?
Turned out that the pink is only paint on white plastic
i'll add a few more pics with case ageing ...

Same model of case only imagine the black soft silicone like green

it looks like give enough protection
but it seems makes the moto g look bulky

GadgetShieldz Skinnova for Sony Xperia Z3 Compact

Got my Sony Xperia Z3 Compact couple of months back and have got to say this is the size that exactly fits my needs. Have been searching for a perfect phone after my old Motorola Defy started giving up on. Switched to Moto G, Razr M and finally this.
The problem was the rear glass panel which I was afraid I would definitely put scratches on given my rough usage. Also the phone used to slip out of my sweaty palms. So got a Cruzerlite protection but it made my phone pretty bulky. While searching for other solutions I came across this beautiful product from GadgetShields called Skinnova. I had earlier bough full body protection for my Moto Defy and Moto G from GadgetShieldz, but had never seen full body skins earlier. Probably these were introduced recently. The reviews online on different forums were good but nobody had tried it on Z3C. Also I wanted carbon black skin which would look awesome but it was not available then. I finalized on Black leather skin though was not very happy about it. But then I decided to wait. What can I say. The wait was worth it. I saw the black carbon fiber skin listed on gadgetshieldz and without any further delay purchased it right away. Thanks to excellent shipping I received the product within 24 hours.
The application was very easy. The air-channel technology really makes it easy to apply this skin. No bubbles whatsoever. Also this being a colored skin, bubbles wouldn't have much difference unlike screen protector. The adhesive is high quality and the carbon fiber texture is excellent. The cutouts fit precisely. It didn't take me long to align the cutouts and fix the skin. I didn't apply the front skin as I though it would make this beautiful phone look ugly.
Phone tended to be a bit slippery on sides with skin. So after usage of about 2 weeks I thought of doing away with the side skin. The removal was completely residue free. Now I have only the rear skin on the phone. It definitely provides a good grip compared to the naked glossy rear glass. Would definitely recommend this product to any one looking for a good make over of their phone. Real pictures to follow soon.

My case is a flip case and uses a TPU case to attach it.
AFAIK there isn' t a true hard case...
Have you checked out the official Wileyfox Cases?

I have the same - a blue xeptio.
Very happy with it.

Not a case as such, but I like the AdoreJune Slip cases, I also have a Tempered Glass protector on the phone (Orzly) but am happy enough to use it without a case and then put it in the slip/sit it on the slip when not in use.

Going to try adapt a iPhone or S5 3D printed case for this phone.
Seems it's a nice option if this phone isn't supported on your country officially.

made a 3d printed one for our phone, still working on it, as it doesn't quite fit comfortably yet,

In any 'case', just don't get the official one - it sucks (I had two, both developed small cracks (as if it's slightly too small). I'm happy to say I got a refund
Well, sucks... not really, it's ok as a case, but I can't stand that it's cracked - though I'm still using it. So technically it works

I ordered a $1 black TPU case from AliEx, fits well, openings are good, sadly the logo isn't cut out.
