Thanks for sharing, looks amazing

This shouts VIRUS to me.
You have to install their software to apply for an invite?

Have test driven it, they have a long way to go. Not a daily drivable launcher for me yet.

Its kinda nice actually.
After waiting a month for invite.

Widgets give me all the info I need. When a launcher does not allow me to take advantage of my widgets I do not find the launcher useful to me.
This launcher does not allow you to take advantage of your widgets.

It's possible to add widgets

Yeah, but as you add more it shrinks each one so you are very limited to how many you can add.

Sweet sweet!

I like it, I just wish it offered a little more along the lines of flexibility for layouts.

Can i have an invite for Aviate ?

Transparent email widget?

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could suggest an email widget similar to Simple Calendar Widget. My goal is to have the last X emails titles listed, with a transparent background.
Thank you for your help.
The only one I can think of is android pro widgets. You can control the shading of the background and make it clear if you want.

I've asked the dev; but never heard back.
There's a pretty massive void of email widgets, not sure if permissions related (?).
Pure messenger in the market works with gmail, have to be rooted though.

Note 2 blinkfeed

Just wondering, is their any way by which I can get the HTC one interface like blinkfeed on my note 2...
Any launcher perhaps...
Any idea...?

Try taptu from the market.

Rapture is not exactly what Iam looking for.... Its a widget..
I guess some launcher can do the trick.. Something close to flipboard.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
I had blink feed on my HTC One and that's what it is, a widget. The closest I was able to come to replicating that on my note 2 was Taptu.
Let me know if you find anything that is closer to it.
Sent from my SGH-T889 using xda premium
maybe Pure News widget. I use this, the biggest one on my whole 1home screen. Its almost the same, but without pictures.
For now, and probably won't be sorted for a while, BlinkFeed relies on HTC's framework for it to work. Therefore it's not possible. The closest you'd probably be able to get would be using multiple UCCW widgets.

I've been struggling to find a way to keep wallpapers from looking grainy. I found that the resolution has to be higher than 1900x1200 because of the "cross" that android uses, cutting out and zooming on a picture. I'm going to give you guys a link to a pack that I have been working on that looks good on my tablet and DNA. 99% of the wallpapers look good. There are 2 that may not be suitable for work but they are nudity free.

To keep wallpapers from losing quality when you set them, use Image 2 Wallpaper. Great app.
MultiPicture Live Wallpaper is great.
And you also have AnimGIF LWP for using gif files as wallpaper

There is a plug in the app hub that comes with the launcher. Check in the app hub on your home page or search in the play store for the apps related to espier launcher ios7.

Just look at other apps created by the same company, they have status bar, dialier and lockscreen, etc.
If you want a keyboard that look a lot like iOS, you can try A.I. Type, one of the included theme is pretty accurate. I would use it more for the Windows Phone theme, but it lacks gesture typing.

Aviate Beta VS Themer Beta

Each replaces your launcher in a interesting way. Themer makes it easier to theme and Aviate organizes your apps and information in a helpful and cool way (and kind of reminds me of Google now IMO).
Both are by invite only currently, got lucky and got both, so sign up now if you wanna use them instead of waiting for the released version.
My problem is that i can't decide which one i want to use,
Themer has limited themes but more are added slowly, also has its crash moments but hey its a beta and the updates help, forced to stay in stock UI mode
Aviate changes by how i use it but only has a light or dark theme option and doesn't require me to be in stock UI mode
I love lowering my dpi to 180/192 in tablet UI mode but i also love changing my theme especially since themer makes it easier
Anyone else with both betas? what are your opinions? which would you pick?
Aviate
Themer app
I find myself switching between the two. I like the themes on themer, but like the categories on aviate.
I have tried both and was bored by both within a day. Stock, Nova, and Action are still my go-to launchers.

Themer I feel is a bit laggy, I'm using aviate for now
Sent from my Nexus 4 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
not working
for me themer is no working on Miui rom nexus 4
Dont like Themer yet. Its almost the same as Buzz launcher but without the hassle of downloading extra apps. There just arent alot of themes yet so not really interesting.
Using Aviate for a while now, and I really like it. Just the fact that in the evening it will ask to set an alarm and when im riding to the bus it will show the time of arrival from the bus. Just those little things make it great.
Although nothing can beat just stock launcher. Simplicity and just clear.

I also got bored of both very quickly, aviate isn't customizable enough for me and themer doesn't have many themes yet, also doesnt let me have a smaller nav bar. Back to nova with a custom setup or even Buzz launcher which at least has a lot of options..
Does anyone have an invite for aviate if it's possible? Stuck with themer only :-\

Themer is fun to customise with all those widgets but I like aviate more with its clean organised look.

I prefer sticking to lovely Nova. Aviate is too boring while Themer doesn't have *beautiful* themes for now plus it's having a lack of fast animation.
