The most finished one (other than stock) would be the CM 10.1.

so far its able to do the basics. text, camera, phone, email. so its fine so far. .... i havent dove int all the customization... but so far it isnt that bad.. the cm 10.1 is a little more complicated to flash i think... but beanstalk is a new rom and ive literally had it for about an hour and i havent played around with it... ive just re downloaded my apps and made sure my contacts were fine... basic house keeping stuff
Anyway i have e989 so i tried to flash a few roms for e980 not successful so i backed to stock , it's so.complicated for me in this phone, i came from i9500 and no problems with roms. ..

Game performance-wise, original stock still seems to be the fastest for me. I was never happy with the gaming performance of this device to begin with, and original stock is the only thing that I can settle on. As far as regular phone use, they're all fairly similar. I'd probably go with CM just because it's been out the longest and has likely the most kinks worked out of it. Although there was one that had a nifty notification drawer color themer that I liked alot, but I can't remember which it was.

Seems like in general if you want good battery life go with a near-stock ICS rom, frosty is a good one but there are several to choose from. I'm currently trying serenity 1.2 LITE right now, it's pretty nice so far but I've only been using it a few hours.
After finally getting rooted yesterday (woohoo!), I flashed Stock sX v3.0. Awesome.

I would try anything from Wildchild. He mods stock ROMs both ICS and JB and they work great. I'm running the Xquizit xD v31(JB) and couldn't be happier. You can find it in the gs3 development forum.
Battery life is good and v 31 comes with all the tools you might need. You can also flash the Kitchen v 10 with it to customize your ROM.

Temporary do to someone stealing his work and it is a downer in general, besides we are on the verge of Official JB. So no point in spending so much time working on a rom that will be rebased and redone all over.

Hi all, this is a tweak I made to my LG Optimus G Roms and it works for the LG Pro. Just flash the zip, wipe dalvik and cache and reboot. Makes your screen super fast and twice as responsive! Enjoy! Note: For Sprint Stock based roms ONLY. Once you have CM/AOSP let me know and I'll make a zip for that too...

If you are rooted with superuser. You can push the touch_dev.idc in system/user/idc, set permissions and reboot. It sets the IDC to a lower level. Gaining much screen sensitivity and speeds the screen up...

You should be able to flash it because it doesn't touch boot or anything else important. Just have a backup just in case you don't like the effect.

After you flashed it you should notice a file in system/usr/idc called touch_dev.idc.bak. That's your backup to touch_dev.idc. Just replace it if you want to go back to the original and then reboot your phone. But by all means whenever you're flashing something in CWM you should already have backed up your stock/rooted rom.

All the devs here are working very hard to get a base .... Unless LG decides to rls a base then its up to the devs to make one... The simple fact is its not easy job. But I have a good feeling its going to come soon..
Hold you over? For what? In my opinion 4.1.2 is more stable than 4.2.2. At least on my Nexus 7. Something about 4.2.2, even when I had a Nexus 4 seemed a bit off.

Another favorite rom could be incoming, no eta ofc but this is great news for those that love the aosp themed debloated tw roms. Beanstown has ported his rom to the sprint note 2 before when he had the Verizon note 2 (something I rocked forever after and not looking back). Anyways just a heads up and something very much to look forward to!
Tho i do think it's already possible to just flash the Verizon rom and use compulsion kernel to fix any hiccups, Main thing you don't wanna do is flash any other carrier rom with the radio (modem.bin) built inside, which beans does not include in his rom. Since US edition is the same thru out this is possible, just would need to flash your carrier kernel after the rom.

So I been using cleanrom from the beginning of 4.4.2 update I find it really amazing piece of work and it is really hard for me to change it. I am a bit lazy to check out the new Roms to tell the truth that's the only ROM so far I have tried on that device been addicted as all of us to room flashing in g4 and get bored with that.
Do I would like to ask you to write ur
ROM version
Reason for using that specific ROM
Would u recommend it
If not lazy ur setup with kernel
Any issues u have with that rom and wish to change it.
Mine so far
CleanROM 2.6
Absolutely no issues have not tried so far other Roms bit that is amazing
Absolutely recommend for using as a daily ROM
Ex 2.6 no of no oc close to stock as possible performance if phenomenal
NP issue the only thing I wish to have is continue work of that ROM bit it is stopped so I wish to stay updated (I know its late but....) And try other Roms if better.

That is the beauty of Nexus devices - flashing a new ROM whenever the urge strikes you is a trivial matter, it is pretty hard to brick a Nexus barring hardware issues. Flash em all and see what you like best, or just gut the stock ROM and mod it to meet your needs and preferences.
And you can use multiRom to flash and boot multiple roms
