If I purchase a app from Google play - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

Can I bill it to my phone bill.

I think this has been removed due to people having their kids rack up the cost of their cell phone bill from purchasing apps and making in app purchases. Whats wrong with just using your credit/debit card?

I still can on my my Galaxy S4.

I still can. But I know kids do that. They buy apps and rack up the bill. I know because I've done it. Of course when I was younger.

Oh @android1063, when will you learn that QUESTIONS go in Q&A? So I see your account @Greg2013 was banned. Probably for your repetitive questions. So how many accounts does that make this? Like 10?

The name is paid app.
Meaning you must pay for that.
Don't be so stingy, those apps are not expensive.
For sure you can afford it.

Don't be a ****. Pay devs for their hard work. You bought a $650 phone (or $300 on contract), but you can't spare $1-$5 for an app?
Also, as you could imagine, its a bit frowned upon to ask for ways of stealing apps on XDA...
i got the phone for free actually
and im not on a contract
and i have no credit card
r u guys goin to help me ?
No we won't sorry, at least not for the free app part!

This is like life's little mini lesson on human nature... you get something really great for nothing and you in turn don't appreciate it and continue to try to mooch more. This is why I buy apps and support devs.

Discussing how to get PAID apps for free is against xda policy so I would strongly advise against asking this question again or you will be taking a vacation from these forums.

Google Wallet is asking for Social Security Number?

I'm not a tin foil or anything but I've been using Wallet for a while now and enjoying it. I've topped up my Prepaid card several times without a hitch but today it's asking for my SSN. Anybody encounter this? I don't feel comfortable putting my SSN in.

I have no clue. :/ I've been searching around and most answers are that there is some new U.S. federal law that prepaid cards need social security card or something. Another one I saw was that once you cross the $100 mark in adding funds, they ask for SSN. I still don't feel okay with it. If it was the last 4 digits then I would do it. But the WHOLE NINE digits?
Is it asking through the app? I had to send in a copy of my id and a copy of a bill showing my address to the wallet Site. It was for security so they say.

Yes, through the app? Wow. They really asked you to do that? Damn.

In the US there's some law now that says they must verify your identity to prevent money from being laundered and what not, but IIRC it's also illegal for someone (other than a government agency) to say you must give them your SSN. I wouldn't do it.

Have you tried calling T-Mobile and explaining the situation, or would that not make a difference?
Would they be atleast willing to continue letting you pay what's left of the phone?

They won't unblacklist an IMEI. Once it's blacklisted you're screwed unfortunately.
That's unfortunate.
As I hope I don't get on the same boat you're in, I too purchased a Galaxy S3 off Craigslist, so far everything's fine.
I've spoke to a T-Mobile rep and the IMEI seems clean, they've added a note on the date I purchased it and was transferred to my account.
I'm still scared what happened to you can still happen to me.
OP, to be honest, your idea sounds like it'd work, although it's on you and you have to know it's not the "right" thing to do.
Just unlock it someone using att or straight talk with att sim, save difference.and buy a new one u dont have to worry about being blacklisted,

What don't I understand about this?
The owner stopped paying his bill?
He was paying your cell bill while you use the phone?
I don't get it.
How many times is this gonna happen. first of all 350 is pretty cheap to sell a phone like this so u should beware of potential fraud. This is why I never buy anything on craigslist there is no protection whatsoever and tmobile needs to take more responsibility and drop customers who do stuff like this
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda app-developers app
You can always change your imei.

Sell it for 350 on ebay as blacklisted. It could probably go for more. You're lucky you didn't pay 500

The original owner bought the phone on contract and stretched the payment for 20 months, he sold the phone to OP, the original owner stopped paying his phone bill, T-Mobile blacklisted the phone.
So the original owner probably bought the phone from Wallmart for $200 without needing to go the rebate route, just extending their contract and then turned around and sold the phone for $350 making a quick $150 profit on a legitimately $650 phone. Lame ass fraud there to begin with if you ask me.
Basically you can change the IMEI but the legality of that is unsound or you can just go with another carrier like ATT or whoever else uses sim cards in their phones.

Actually their anti piracy replies were quite on point. How would you feel if you were the developer of the app and everybody just stole it from you instead of paying for your hard work? Bottom line piracy is WRONG.
Back on topic, does anybody know of a free Bluetooth alternative to tablet talk?

the rules aren't the problem....first the suggestion to actually go pirate an app (WTF are you thinking even saying that on xda)
then the arguing about "can't afford to pay" "visa card" etc etc....it applies to everyone at the end of the day not just people arguing the right point...but also the person suggesting that idea out loud over the forum

Peeps want to put their 2 feet in, the OP has the answer now job done, every bodies circumstances are different, mentioning how easy it is to get a gift card, top up credit card or whatever is relevant only to the person that suggests it.
Some countries don't accept payment, some won't allow you to buy, and for the record....I pay my way, but if I never had any money and need something, I'll blatantly take it. Don't have a problem mentioning that, but apps are 2 a penny, if there is a free alternative get one with ads.
