i have xperia mini pro (sk17i). i was on cm9.
it was working fine for more then a year.
i toogled from 2g to 3g. the network was too weak.
then it started rebooting.
then i restored my phone. still keeps rebooting.
formated, still reboots.
installed zip cm9 from sd, still keeps rebooting.
flashed kernel and installed cm10.
still keeps rebooting.
if i put it in aeroplane mode as soon as it comes to home screen then it's stable.
as soon as i get out of aeroplane mode, it reboots.
what should i do?

Like the title says, I am getting reboots when I turn on WiFi... It works fine in the stock rooted ROM. The logcat said that it was unable to find eth0 when activating WiFi
did you turn on wifi after flashing a new rom..? if so before turnin on wifi after flashing any ginger rom, go through set up then reboot then try again
Turn wifi on, it'll reboot. Pull battery, put back in, turn phone on. It'll be fine. I have same issue.

Works for me everytime I flash a gb rom
Sent via my CM7 RC3 G2. PTFO
So when I flashed RC3 again the problem magically disappeared.
Only happens to me when coming from a full wipe and flashing a new GB rom.. battery pull fixes the issue everytime..

I've experienced many random reboots with CyanogenMod before, first the screen freezes for a while then it goes to the boot animation, and it only happens once a week or so. But this one is strange, the screen doesn't freeze at all, and suddenly, I find myself on the splash screen not the boot animation. Then I leave it to boot, once it boots and I try to use it, POOF !!! I'm on the splash screen again
This has never happened to me before, I'm on CM7.2 RC3 since the day it was released, this weird reboots has just begun today morning and I've had more than a dozen of them :'(
I've also noticed that most of the time it happens when I switch on/off data over mobile network.
I'm away from my PC till Monday so I can't make any logcats ATM.
I've sent this in the little time between each reboot
Any suggestions ??

You could try using your own lewa rom and then work on the little bugs you would find??

I'm on LeWa right now, same thing happens,
Maybe it's because it is based on RC3??
Something inside me tells me it's a hardware problem. It's like I pressed the "reset" button of the phone.
When I get back home I'll try cm9.
If it still reboots then I think I'll go back to stock ROM, unroot and S-ON then go claim my warranty

I've figured out what happens exactly,
The mobile works fine with no problems untill i enable data, it suddenly reboots to the splash screen, once it boots and I'm on the lock screen, it goes to the splash screen again.
The only way to break this infinite loop is to disable data QUICKLY before it reboots again.
I only have about 15 or 20 seconds before the loop continues, and it's really hard as due to our hardware limitations, the wildfire lags like hell just right after it boots, sometimes it takes me 5 or 6 trials until i succeed.

Have you tried to reflash radio? I had the same issue some months ago and that solved the problem for me

Bad news: those reboots are back.
After i flashed radio, the reboots stopped for a while. But they came back this morning, i checked the radio version and its the old one,
It never changed.
@elia222: I increased the cache partition and it didn't make any errors, but radio is still the old one.

No I'm not.
Anyway I removed the mtd partitions completely (by flashing the recovery from the Hboot) then I reflashed radio.
It updated the radio successfully. I checked from the about phone menu in cm9.
Till now no reboots

Hi all,
Since flashing 4.1.2 (after a complete wipe) my data connection sometimes doesn't connect after disconnecting from wifi.
I see the "H" icon but the bars stay gray and the connection is down.
The only way to fix this once it happens is to reboot, which is quite annoying...
I've had this problem before on 4.0 but it eventually went away.
I tried both the default xxlf radio and uglh.
EDIT: I should mention I'm running stock and rooted.
Any ideas?
Thanks

I have the exact same problem.
Appeared with 4.0.4 , solved with 4.1, but broken again with 4.1.2
rebooting solves nothing, nor airplane mode.
I have to delete and reset my APN's
I'm not rooted
Me too...

Same here. Only way to fix it is through a reboot. Airplane mode trick doesn't work for me at all. Seems to happen much more often when I switch from H back to E when I'm done browsing on work breaks.
Same think for me, reboot to resolve.
I'm on slimbeam 2.8 and Trinity S63, but same problem on CNA ...
Nice to see I'm not the only one...
I'll open a bug report tonight (assuming there isn't one already)

Mine only seems to do it if I constantly go back and forth between HSPA and EDGE(like I stated before). Kinda sucks. lol. Wonder what happened that could've caused this.
Stock, Rooted, Unlocked bootloader
This happens to me almost every single time. I find that turning off LTE then turning it back on seems to work.
EDIT:
Also is it only me, or does JB take over 2 minutes to boot up? Long story short I used OTA Rootkeeper to keep root, I installed the update.zip in CWM and it installed. CWM didn't have to be reinstalled and my Bootloader stayed unlocked. When I installed the OTA update.zip though I didn't clear cache or do a wipe, I just installed it, could that be leading to my O.S. issues?

I'm having some issues. I am on Incredible HD RLS 2, I haven't been able to get on WiFi and this isn't the only ROM where WiFi isn't working. It will just never connect. Well, I tried to install ICS Official global CM9 upon initial boot it said it couldn't read my SIM. I powered down pulled the SIM put it back in and put the phone back together and then I couldn't get any service. No matter what I did I have no service.
Yes I followed all the instructions, wiped everything, flashed the proper gapps and the kernel.
Since that didn't work I went back to my nand and still no service. Anyone have any suggestions?? Please help
On global cm9 rum through setup and change network mode to cdma/evdo becuz it defaults to gsm
I'm so fresh you can suck my nits...
Will give it a shot, thanks.

Awesome, got service back, but WiFi is still not working. It just forever searches and never connects to a network. Anyone have any ideas?
This happens to me sometimes and restarting my router usually clears it up, not sure if you have tried that, just throwing it out there.
I can't reset the router, I'm on a college campus. I have the latest firmware and radios, switched out rom after Rom and still WiFi doesn't work. Any other suggestions?

After installing ViperOne 4.3 rom my 4G LTE has been dropping and wont come back till I either restart the phone or airplane mode.
I've done a clean install w/ viperone 4.1->4.2.1-4.3
but it still drops.
what could it be?
could it be a bad kernel?
