So recently my phone broke down, it stucks on LG logo when I boot it.
I tried using kdz updater but it kept giving me PHONE NOT FOUND. Installed msxml. Also install LG driver v3.10 but something seem wrong about it. It's installed as a 32bit app instead of 64bit (I'm using Windows 8 x64).
Any ideas on this problem?
Sometimes windondows 8 don't work with kdz ...try TO reboot your PC after installed driver ....if doesn't work try TO use an other pc

Well, I can still use fastboot. Are there anyway to flash ROM/Recovery with fastboot?
Used softbrick east tools but didn't work.
OK. So I've managed to get my phone detected but even after KDZ flash it still didn't work. It got stuck at LG logo with all 4 soft buttons blinking? Anyone know what that means?

Yeah. Only fastboot and emergency mode.
I've managed to flash it with KDZ now. But it's not fixed even after a flash.
Also, by "hard reset" did you mean the entering stock recovery? Or it just hard reset when you hold the buttons long enough and nothing will be displayed?
When you press vol-, call button, power button, the phone do a hard reset, it shows a android image

Hi all, I was trying to uninstall some of the softwares from my S3, I uninstalled some of them, those are some tmobile softwares. But I soon found out when I restarted my phone it just stuck at the "samsung" logo.I tried to install a rom to resolve the problem but odin just kept showing that "FAIL". I reinstall a clockworkmod.tar by using odin( I don't know why I did that...><). But when it finished and restarted again it could no long turn on again. Can anyone help me with this problem? I just bought the phone yesterday and I already went to exchange for a new one couple hours ago, no sure tmobile would let me exchange it again. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Try pulling the battery and put it back in. Then try to boot download mode.
What rom did you try to flash? Where did you get the cwm.tar file you used?
Plug into the computer and check in device manager. Does it see anything?
If it says QHSUSB_DLOAD then I'm afraid your bricked.

DId you get it fixed?
I did a duma$$ move. I flashed a rom on top of a different rom without wiping.
- Phone boots up
- Boot animation displays
- Freezes on 'Android' Screen
- Does not go into Recovery
- Does not go into Download mode
- PC doesn't see it, but pc makes a sound when I plug it in, and drivers attempt to install when I plug in to pc (fail)
- Kies takes a while but I got "This device is not supported by Kies 2.0. Please try again'
Any and all help is appreciated.

That's what I meant lol sorry about that... At least you knew what I was talking about. The tool kit got my phone into download when nothing else would. It worked even when adb wouldn't Thankfully I only has that problem one time

if you got into download mode and odin'ed back to stock and it gets stuck on the "samsung with the blue logo behind it" boot screen than you have to go to stock recovery and wipe data and cache there and reboot, i had the same problem earlier but mine could get into recovery and download mode but it wouldnt wipe the data it would just turn off whenever i tried to

HOLY S-H-I-T SNACKS! I got into download mode. Rather then pressing Volume UP + Home + Power, I did same but Volume Down, and I'm Golden.
Thanks for all the help and Replys. Love this community. I root because this is what we do. I stand behind those that say Samsungs are damn near impossible to brick.

How'd you do that? I might have the same situation.
to get into the stock recovery you hold volume up and home and the power button at the same time, use the volume keys to move up and down and power button to select than wipe data and cache and reboot
So I flash liquid smooth was all great so I wanted to restore my apps that I backup with Samsung toolkit. So I flash inseruce boot IMG. Now my phone won't go past samsungs boot logo can't get into download by pressing volume down plus home and power.
You might have to do a factory reset in recovery mode. Thats normally the easiest way to get past softbricks.

- pull battery
- then hold home, volume up, and power and release when ever the blue text on top right flashes.
You flashed a TW kernel and not an AOSP one. That's why you got a bootloop

Can you get in to recovery through your bootloader? Hold down power and volume down until your bootloader screen pops up.

I would assume you'd be good to go if you did a clean install of a rom...give that a shot. Someone else might be able to chime in soon.

youd likely only have to restore the system partition, make sure to wipe dalvik too.. next time use xposed + gravitybox (that's what it's there for, so people don't flash willy nilly and break things)
