Recovery mode not working or crashes...

Guys I recently bought note 2 n7100 series... When I try and get into recovery by pressing volume up+home+power button... I can see samsung note w n7100 and suddenly it what do u say... Like the screen in which note 2 n7100 is there it it scatters around and shuts down. I can not boot into recovery.... Pls reply and help me Pls and yes I rooted it though.. I'll try posting the vedio of the crash of recovery on YouTube and post the link until then please help.. I believe in Xda developers and members...!!!

Well I had same problem I flashed a custom recovery twrp using Mobile Odin and that fixed ed my prob

if u want to remain in stock recovery you can also flash a stock recovery i think there are some in dr.ketan post

yes .than install cwm recovery and do from cwm recovery

No root is req ...
Just do a data wipe factory reset from stock recovery
For going to stock recovery turn off your phone and press and hold volume down + home button + power
When yu see samsung grand name then release all the buttons.
Yu will be in stock recovery

ok done..but still I got random reboot...what should I do...is it bcoz of the firmware I updated BY OTA

Try to install fresh firmware through Odin. If problem persists then last option is service center.. If you are rooted. I think you messed up with important system apps... Anyway try to install fresh firmware and check again ...

my grand not going to cwm recovery mod (show grand logo and restarting i have tried 5-6 times).I have flahed chotu recovery.plz tell me any suggestion
is there any widgets to go in recovery mode.without recovery mod I cannot root my grand.and u successfully rooted how ?

Make a factory reset, wipe cache and dalvic cache, open Odin 3.04, connect the phone in download mode, browse the chhotu file to pda, flash the file it will take 5 to 10seconds...the odin shows the status passed... That's all you will get Cwm recovery..

Bro the problem is that
I flash chotu touch revovery after that when I am trying to go to recovery but its shows grand logo and it restarting I have try it 5-6 time and try recovery widgets

Something you are doing wrong.. I was the first who root android 4.2.2. without asking anyone.. I made success onthat.. First you do factory reset.. Wipe cache and dalvic cache.. Flash the whole firmware again.. Then flash cwm recovery...

Are you sure you are putting your phone in download mode???
There is no way for error...Even if you dont wipe data/cache..it should work...Or try recovery by pawitp

If the flashing get passed the recovery should boot up, Actually what happens when you switch on the device by holding Volume UP+Home Button+Power Key??

uff!! sorry, you meant you cant flash it using Odin in to your phone huh?
okay it says pass, have you tried wiping up cache both dalvik n cache partition, this wont help much, even though!
try it with odin again, or you may hav to go for a file system re-partition or nand erase, but thats a risky process... do try nw
You try flashing the stock OS once into the device and try flashing recovery (play safe)

Red exclamation on android in recovery mode?

Hi
I'm Using Samsung galaxy grand duos GT-i9082. I've rooted it once and flashed back again with official firmware. Then when i went recovery mode i found that a Red exclamation on android. Is that any issue or normal? If its a issue please provide me a solution

It starts appearing when you have enabled your flash counter. Means when you have started flashing . Like u said that you rooted and flashed official firmware . That's why it has started appearing . But don't worry about it .

Hope u rooted thru odin. If it showed u pass, the moment its try to boot...remove your cable & battery and chek the recovery again.
