I've been losing 7-8% overnight and I tried to use greenify to help with that. Little did I know the problem only got worse. Mediaserver decided to keep my device up for 8 hours and then I lost 27% doing absolutely nothing (I wasn't even home today). Anyone get huge media server drains on their N7 2013?

I don't use greenify, but you need to be careful about applying it to certain things. My guess is greenify keeps trying to shutdown media server and it keeps starting again, thus the drain. Either modify greenify or uninstall it and see if that helps.

Anyone know why this might be happening on my Nexus?
As far as I know, there's nothing out of the ordinary happening besides this odd chart.

hahaha I've seen random spikes too... not nearly that many though. wow.

I had similar spikes but they were really small though...I don't know what caused it but a factory reset (or reflash and wipe if you're rooted) seemed to solve the problem. Nice stat by the way, ive used mine heavily and its at 23hrs running on battery with 9hr18m screen on time (!!) ...still on 15%. Very impressed.
that's mine. small spikes. dunno why stock android always has this.. my old nexus and galaxy nexus did it too

Hey guys,
Ever since I've had my g3 now something been eating my data within a matter of days, had a look at my data settings and it's saying Chrome been chewing through my data. I don't use YouTube or anything while using my data, only go on reddit. How do I stop this from happening? Never had this problem before.
Go to chrome> settings>bandwidth management>enable

Tried that it didn't do anything still eating data. I uninstalled Chrome and installed Chrome beta still the same problem chewing through my data like no tomorrow, might just have to give up on chrome all together use something else.
On my Note 3 I remember Google Play Services being lower usage.
I also never saw Unified Daemon come up.

That isn't the battery usage screen, that is the location services screen. All that is saying is that those programs are hitting the GPS/location services and the type of hit they are using (high battery, or low battery). Plus those are relative, High battery doesn't mean excessive battery, it just means more than low battery use.
Check under the battery option in the menu system to get the traditional chart and % usages.
Looking at this attachment.. Why is my battery draining hardcore while dozed

Maybe the yellow cellular signal? I know at my job, I have to turn on airplane mode and turn on WiFi cause all the red/orange signal I get kills my battery even if I'm not turning my screen on.

If you look at the flat section just before the end of the green, that's when the device was in doze. Before that the device was not entering doze, either because it was in use or was detecting movement. But looking at the graph doze is working properly, 3 days left.. Definitely working as it should.
Is this because os level tweaks between android 7 vs 6 or is there something I can try? Btw, already using medium power saving mode.

Seems to work much better after reinstalling.
No, the app will drain your battery no matter what.
Its performing encryption decryption constantly for an always on connection.
e.g. S10+ PIA most of the day with moderate to heavy usage sees PIA app with about 45% battery usage!!! F*ck!!!
