Great, I have 2 change requests:
1. The candidates highlights colours are still green. But they should be blue.
2. Black keys would fit more to our sgs2 than white.
ive posted up anougher option with black primary keys as for changing the candidate highlights to blue,i will need more time
Take all the time you want. No hurry

what's the difference between this and the HTC IME mod that you can theme yourself?
is this keyboard multi-touch?
can we have those blue buttons in grey instead?
I unfortunately do not get it out, did everything according to the described procedure done in under Languages & keyboard chops, but unfortunately I'm still propagated even the "old" keyboard?
Rom LeoMar75 if this helps any further and it is guilt?
Thank you in advance.
Thanks works super

ummmmmmm might not be compatible with that perticular rom
works great for me, though I don't use the default e-mail app so can't replicate the freezing.
Thanks!
What htc ime version is it? I already got one that doesnt require installation of the clicker_hi.apk or whatever its called, so just wondering if there are any differences?
thank you so much
works great
works on the Epic touch perfectly!
Same problem with stock's email app in SGS2
OMG...reminds me of my HTC years lol...
This is a great keyboard, but really need to get it working with the stock email app before its of any real use.
Keep up the good work and hopefully you will be able to sort this issue
Can you put in gray and black?
I'm guessing you can't edit this using the kitchen that the original creator has can you? Idk.

What keyboard you use?

So folx
Im using the stock one, but im thinking of replacing it because of landscape lag (if the custom one will solve the lag in landscape) and enter key..
What keyboard you use ?
Swype.

Smart keyboard has been my go-to for a LONG time now. I still use it, but I find myself just using the stock ICS keyboard more and more...
I think I've tried just about every one out there (swiftkey, Go, ultra, better, touchpal, etc.) I still think Smart keyboard is the best. Love the customization, the tap-a-word to correct option, large space bar, gestures, etc. It just does everything well. It still uses the old voice-to-text style, and I do love the new voice-to-text options in ICS (word by word). I wish there was a way to access the new way in it...
Stock for me... Used the HTC IME across my other phones (HTC or not) but actually like the stock ICS one more now...

I like STOCK ICS very much, but the darn landscape lag is irritating me.. And the missing of enter button... But the landscape lag is killing me .. Thats why im considering another keyboard... But i think ill stick to the stock one for little more time
Moslty ICS stock
Sometimes Swiftkey
For me swiftkey is the best. I'm just waiting for an ICS theme. Than it would be perfect

Stock ICS Keyboard themed by me.
Is there a keyboard with programmable keys? so i can assign emails, .com.
I use Swiftkey. Seems that finnish language prediction works best with it and it can handle multiple languages at the same time so its nice.
I am extremely happy with the stock keyboard. That is the first time i've ever been able to say that with any Android phone i've ever owned. I have almost every keyboard available (smart keyboard, swift key, etc) and none even compare to the ICS keyboard when it comes to auto correction.
I read somewhere that Google purchased a company developing an app called "Blind Type" and incorporated that into the ICS keyboard and i believe it. I can type very very quickly and it still does a fantastic job of auto correcting for me.
My girlfriend also has a Nexus and hated the look of the stock keyboard and has since then tried all other keyboards as well... she settled on smart keyboard but has said that even that is not quite as accurate as the ICS keyboard.
She is a very precise typer though and I rely on auto correct heavily to type as fast as I do.

Smart Keyboard. It comes with a dedicated .com button which can also be customized to long press other things (such as www. , .ca , .org etc)
As for me..I always used Smart Keyboard, up until ICS that is. I've been loving the improved accuracy and spell correction now implemented with the stock ICS...although I do still miss some features from Smart (such as some of the swipe options and number layout).
Does anyone know what roms allow you to hide or disable the little keyboard icon when you use different keyboards?

+1 for smart keyboard.
I really like the gestures and long-press for numbers/special characters. Also can change skins to modify the look of it. The auto correct/spell check is still pretty good with ICS.

Can someone post an ICS themed (Black background and ICS Blue letters/numbers) keyboard apk that will work on a stock rooted 4.0.2 build?
I'm using perfect keyboard pro

[Q] Auto correct and notification widgets.

Hi everyone!
I've recently bought my beloved Note II in places of an iPhone 4 and I have only two things bugging me.
As you've may already guessed, I seriously need autocorrect.
My experience with other Android devices (namely Motorola Xoom) was perfect minus the astonishingly good performance.
I was able to write quickly knowing that the original Android keyboard will correct every thing for me... but now I can't.
So, is there a way to enable autocorrect on Samsung's TouchWiz keyboard (don't want to lose S Pen functionality)?
Secondly, I only need 5 of the loads of widgets on the notification drawer.
Is there anyway I can modify them to the number and order I want?
Is there any ROM that can fix those problems without losing S Pen apps?
Thank you in advance!
1- No way to enable auto correct in stock samsung keyboard as far as I know. I recommend downloading swiftkey from the android market. It has (in my opinion and many others) the best auto correction/prediction of any keyboard in the world. Granted, it is a paid app but there is a free 30-day trial.
2- You can't modify the notification toggles with stock rom. With certain custom roms, yes.
Just a little info.. the notification thingies that allow enable/disable of wifi/bluetooth etc are called toggles. Widgets are the ones you can put on the home screen.
The problem with having a 3rd party keyboard is when you want to use the S-pen you have to select the samsung keyboard. Try using the continous input option of samsung keyboard, you can swipe which does auto correct / predict.

Samsung Keyboard & Alternate characters

Hi,
I was wondering is there a way to display alternate / special characters on the keyboard (characters like / * etc)?
There is a option within keyboard settings but is grayed out and cannot be turned on...
I have applied dark material theme with Nova launcher. Does anyone have similar issue?
Thanks
It only works with English keyboard

Hmmm thanks.
Will be searching 3rd party kesboard then...
does the note 7 samsung keyboard have the Microphone icon for voice to text??
Yes it does, but i've replaced samsungs keyboard with swiftkey - significant improvement

swiftkey doesnt have copy and paste clipboard
samsung vs swiftkey
indeed only works with English... please Samsung fix this.
what is a copy/paste keyboard? sounds interesting as I miss copy paste buttons on any excisting keyboard, the longpressvoid is too much effort for a feature I use every minute 3 times.
swiftkey is the best alternative, although you cannot disable the autospace after a dot, which is the only reason I switched back to Samsung keyboard. As a webdeveloper constantly using the dot this is quite frustrating... please Swiftkey, fix this.

How to change HK (SM-N9860) keyboard layout to regular layout

Hey guys so I have been using the Note 20 Ultra for almost 5 months now and although the experience has been amazing overall, the keyboard layout with the numpad besides the spacebar for the HK variant of the phone has been really annoying. It's really sad to see that not even keys cafe is able to override the default keyboard layout. So I would like to know if there is anyway to change the keyboard layout and ideally without a root please.
You can download another keyboard from the PlayStore and then activate it!
Only with root its possible to edit cscfeature.xml country and Samsung keyboard layout will change.
up for this
Can someone show what is difference in keyboard on N9860 between N986U/B?
