I know the rom is very new at this point but I'm too antsy when it comes to flashing. Never had to flash modems much in past so I'm just curious if its just a simple modem zip flash that's required for this E988 rom to work on E980. Thanks in advance!
I'll be trying that ROM once the upload is done. Look in one of the help threads in q&a. I'm sure one of them should have the modem for our phones.

i have just recently rooted my phone and i want to get into all the rom management but i really dont want to flash a bad rom and brick my phone, so i was wondering if any of you have used cyanogenmod on your tmobile samsung galaxy s4 sgh-m919 and could give me the okay that its a safe rom to use.
Thank you !!
It's a functional ROM.
There's always a risk with flashing any ROM, the more you know, the less the risk.

It's a very nice ROM. If you are looking for AOSP ROM, give the Virgin ROM a try. I've used both and both are rock solid. Here is the link for Virgin ROM

You need to research and learn to do it correctly to avoid problems but in answer to your question, there is a version of cyanogenmod for the SGH-M919 variant and it works just fine. I am currently using a touchwiz rom but one of my good friends had been on cyanogenmod for 2 months now and won't use anything else.

I need to know how to flash from 4.3 to stock 4.1 using odin I keep getting fail unsupported version. I made a mistake and flashed stock tar instead of root tar im at work on co worker phone so could some one point me in the right direction
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app
Have not reverted with odin but this is how i reverted. Flash twrp or cwmr with odin then flash this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36388145. You will be on mc2 stock unrooted. Hope it helps.

I would think so. You need to flash modem and kernel separately right after flashing rom.

Someone in my post asking "how happy are you with n2" mentioned that t-mobile users are facing signal drops because its not official 4.3. I cant decide whether to buy att n2 and unlock it for the roms or just get tmobile and flash att roms. Give it a try.
