:crying::crying: I've recently installed cyanogenmod 10.1.2 stable .
The rom is awesome !
Except this minor problem..the music playback occassionally stutters for half a second or so every 1 min or so...
This is very irritating :crying:
Any solutions ??
Happens with me too...I think it is because of Cpu governer

Try interactive. I know there is a way to edit the frequency used when playing music but where that file is has gone from my mind.

Yes, same for everyone.
It's seriously bad framerate, especially if your stock.
Just have to wait for gameloft to fix it, I suppose.

Hey all, I have a very annoying issue with my One X, it seems to have much trouble playing music..
When I'm listening music via Spotify or via the regular music app it begins stuttering and skipping after a while playing...
Anoybody else with the same problem or a way to solve it?
I have the same problem ...

Same here every once in a while. If I am not mistaken then this is an issue caused when the phone enters deep sleep or something along those lines. Does it always happen to you or just every once in a while ?

Same problem over here..
Pretty annoying!
by Lag do you mean stuttering at times ? Mine does that at times and can be quite random. Tried doubletwist and ubermusic players but same thing happens in those as in the sense music application.
When it starts for me I just do a reboot and it usually corrects it.
no issues with spotify here.. are you using a custom kernel? are you rooted? bit more info

More likely to be when the phone is switching from power saving core back to the main CPU.
Mine used to lag when skipping songs, over clocking did that trick

For now I have rooted my phone with CyanogenMod 10 ROM using the TripNDroid kernel they suggested.
After I did this the lag has got less, but I haven't really tested it, but I had some lag unfortunately
Grtz

I'm happy that I'm at least not the only one so there could be found a solution (I hope)

There was problem with the update 4, its because the experimental theme, also that I released it too fast without testing that much, try the new version, you wont face lag or problem. Sorry for the trouble.
Try deodex for the moment. Odex coming in 3hours time.
No, I've had this problem too. Do you use an Equalizer when listening to music? Because I noticed that the music would go buggy and the screen wouldn't turn on if I locked the screen while the EQ was on and I was listening to music. Just set screen timeout to 30 mins and you'll be fine.
Hi guys, recently I've switched from Maximus ROM to CM10 Eternity Project on my HOX, and now I'm experiencing a problem with my favourite app - PowerAMP: when phone goes to the sleep mode PowerAMP gets switched off, not every time but quite often. Any ideas? Thanx.

That's a very old rom, why don't you use the nightlys?

Occasionally I've found some of the highest quality videos stutter when playing on the YouTube app.
Example, play on WiFi:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqW5d5QPenk&feature=youtube_gdata_player
I'm only talking of a slight jutter here and there, but not 100% smooth. Perfectionist!
However, I've found that it plays perfectly if you use SetCPU to set the governor as Performance with the CPU at just 640Mhz.
You can create a Profile that triggers the setting when the YouTube app is open, reverting to Ondemand/Interactive when not in use.
Maybe standard info, but I wasn't aware of the feature until tonight so thought I'd share it. Do you think it will hammer the battery?

just tried the video, no stuttering problem here
There is on mine. It could come down to a number of reasons including user perception. If anyone does find that it jitters at all, then my info may help.

My one x used to jitter and stutter heaps on YouTube. Was the most annoying thing I had ever experience especially for a phone this powerful. Then one day I decided to change from ncx's kernel which I was on at the time to faux's kernel, now I don't have any problems at all with any jittering or stuttering.

Hopefully I can do the same in the future. Currently have the stock Jellybean kernel
