Guys, right now I'm using bali Rom.. 4.1.2, and I just came to know that grand received 4.2.2 Indian update yesterday.. Now if I want to go to 4.2.2 all my apps would be deleted and I've so many paid apps which I had brought in store.. So is there any way to backup the apps?

use titanium backup its paid but wort it. it backup your all apps and its data and for contact massages use super backup

Ha you mean rom not room.
But yeah im looking for a first time too I used to be iphone and jailbreak.
So far jellybam and warmlite look good. Havent yet tryed though.

For root you need to flash: http://download.chainfire.eu/264/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-t03g-t03gxx-gtn7100.zip via ODIN. This tutorial may help you: http://androidjinn.com/root-galaxy-note-2-n7100-zcalk5.html
Next you need to install CWM Recovery (or any other custom recovery). To install CWM recovery first instal ROM Manager from play store then tap on Flash ClockworkMod Recovery.
There are many ROM out there. Try something stable. All ROM comes with general installation guide just follow that.

Yes! It's safe to use the root file. That is a standard rooting file for Note 2 for any Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean version.

Everything will be just normal. You don't require to install any custom ROM. Your smartphone will be in Jelly Bean. You can now install apps that require root permission such as Titanium Backup .

There is an official app for Note 2 - GALAXY Note II User's Digest. Install it and learn some basic of Note 2.
Go to Dr. Ketan forum in Android original development. Once u read it u will do it urself. He is genius.

Does it give you any error messages?
If not then it's the best thing to backup your data and factory reset your phone. That usually fixes problems like yours.

did you freeze allshare service or allshare cast via titanium ? if that's the case try to unfreeze them it might do the trick

I am sharing a new method of rooting through an app called Farmaroot. I am not a developer. I am just sharing this . Just follow the original thread

As far as i have read you can choose between Sam / Frodo / Aragorn / Legolas / Gandalf. But i have not testet the app yet.

It used to say "incompatible with galaxy grand" maybe they fixed it on play store. Its also ok.
