Okay so I have a $10 play credit what apps would you buy!
I already use:
ROM Toolbox Pro
StickMount
Sixaxis Controller
Nova Launcher Prime
HD Widgets
and both GTA games (I am more than willing to support developers porting old PC games to Mobile!!!)
I would personally buy asphalt 8
At 0.99 $ its a cracking game with graphics to boot

I would buy Faux123 Kernel App
Some best bang for your bucks :
- PowerAmp Player
HTML:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.maxmpz.audioplayer
( it takes full advantage of DSP Manager from Cyanogen Mod, and them equalizers give the best sound for your music )
- Swiftkey
HTML:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.touchtype.swiftkey
( you can wait to their sales, 50% off, they do that about 3 times a year on holidays, don't buy the Tablet version, the normal/phone version works just fine )
- TrickSter MOD Donate
HTML:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bigeyes0x0.trickstermod.premium
( I install them on all of my devices, a must if you're into custom kernels )
- Timely ( trust me this is one of the best app on Play, take a look at my topic http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2438519 )
Poweramp and DSP manager go well? Interesting...any settings you recommend?

In Poweramp Settings there's a section call Advanced tweak, Enable Music FX then you can tweak your sounds with DSP Manager. Since I mostly listen to Rock I set all of my songs to Rock.
My DSP Manager setting : Headset
- Dynamic Range Compression : Enable/Slight
- Bass Boost/Disabled (my headphones are good enough with bass, enable it if you need more bass )
- Equalizer Enable/Choose your genre of music
- Headset virtual room effect: disabled ( enable/Studio if you want more surround sound )
And the same settings to Speaker or Bluetooth

I think the Rom Toolbox Pro has them all in one, maybe except for the Bubble UPnP
Titanium Backup.
I'd buy NOX icons for Nova Launcher. Minimal UI is also good.
You don't have titanium backup?

I want to start watching movies/tv shows on my Galaxy Nexus.
What is the best video format?
I see a lot of .mp4's are x264... is that x264 good?
Cheers,
I believe MP4 H.264 is best in the native video player would be best battery wise, as it is CPU/GPU supported not done in software like DIVX/XVID AVIs wit 3rd party apps
You could try this too, it plays just about everything, just change decoder settings to sw instead hw.

Mx player looks great! That is what i really expected...to just be able to throw a movie from pc to nexus without converting. I'm looking forward to trying one tonight. Do you know if there has to be some free space on the phone for it to be able to decode? After, are there two files, the original and the decoded?
Thanks a lot for sharing.
Thanks, using my Gucci Nexus on XDA premium

There is not 2 files after it decodes I don't believe u need extra space for it to decode it just does in the app itself I can see the files in the gallery but they only play using mx
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
I guess I should also say I'm not positive it will play everything. My buddy threw transformers 3 and the new planet of the apes on my phone, told me to download mx and he swears by it. So if does not play right away I would just mess with the decoder settings a little.

The app isn't a port, but a themed app built from source. You cannot just port the new one because 'you want it'

how? thought it was pulled of the store for lyrics copyright complaint
all music players are basically the same anyways. How many different ways can you really have an app that has cascading artist/album/genre and other tags of your music?
not fully working, guess its still in beta. Btw like other said we dont need something android to look like iphone, just use iphone instead.
Ynt: [Request] iPhone 5 music player port to android
Buy an iphone

This is not an iPhone 5 music player it's an Android music player themed to look like an iPhone 5 music player
This is maddness ....here Im trying my best to get a folder music player on iphone that works perfectly..
IMO, android has the best media/music player around. Poweramp even the default android music player .. pwns iphone's music player big time.
If anyone develop poweramp on iphone.. i sure it will sell in the millions.
Buy Poweramp, best mobile player, doesn't matter if it's Android, iOS, or whatever.

Just search for Vinardo_ZzZ thread and use is amazing IRS files In convolver parameter.
Just spend some time reading Vinardo_ZzZ thread.

You're not doing it right or using the best IRS files. Just read vinardo's thread and see what people thinks about Viper4android.
I never thought of have such amazing sound quality in my phone. Of course that a decent earphones are essential.
V4A is truely powerful IMO, provided you've spent a certain amount of time tuning it's parameters!
