Hello Everybody !
I want to know how to access on the market to all the apps only made for Tabs !
I made some research but i don't find the answer
My biggest problem with my Note 8.0 is that all the downloadable's apps are only designed for phones.
And its frutstrating to use an app designed for a phone on a big screen or to be unabale to use the tabs on landscape mode ...
Thank you in advance for your help !
Nicobliss
Because of the way the Android SDK is designed you don't need tablet apps versus phone apps. That's an Apple issue. Any app in the Android works can be easily made to support the old low res phones to large screen televisions all in the same app. As such you have to count on the developer to include the appropriate stuff in their code.

Tablified Market
Try Tablified Market. You can download it from the Play store. It lists app that are "tablet ready".
Thanks guys for your answers, but the problem is not to use Tab Applications on my Note 8.0 (that works).
The problem is that when i go on the market with my Galaxy Note 8.0, i cant see (and also download) the apps made for tabs.
I only can download the phone versions when it doe's exist.
A simple exemple, i have on my HTC One X the application "L'Equipe" (A French sports magazine) with the phone design (only portrait mode).
This app exist in a Tabs design (landscape mode and another features) but i can't see it on the market on my Note 8.0.
If i try to use the Play Store on my PC to push the Tab App Version on my Note 8.0, i have the message "This item is not compatible with your device."

Do you know a trick to recognize my phablet as a tablet by the google play store (on my Note 8.0) ?
thanks you in advance !
(i'm not sure i'm clear in my explications ^^)
Try installing the Mode Switcher in the themes and apps section. It allows you to switch between tablet and phablet mode. I believe the play store recognizes it as a tablet when you use tablet mode.

Thank you, but this method doesn't work .. The problem is the same
I think it's the model number of the device that allows or not to see and download specific applications for tablet on the device play store.
(i'm pretty sure the Store verify this information and this is the key to success)
I think if I could change the model number from my Note 8.0 (GT-N5110) by the number from a Galaxy Tab 10.1 (P7XX),
I could download specific applications for tablets...
But I don't know if there is a way to do this ...
I am not sure whether the Play Store handles this the same way for all devices, but on the Note II you can access tablet versions by
1. changing the dpi of the device to something below phablet, ie below 213, if I remember correctly (requires rooted device)
2. Killing play store
3. deleting all cache-files and data from the play store app.
4. Restarting Play Store.
Might be worth a try.

Well surprise to me. Using Stock rom (rooted) seems

Works for S3. Just installed it myself and it is working. Even tho it says its for Xperia play only. Figured I would tell you all. =)
Never heard of it, but looks awesome!
Yea if you love Wing Commander, youd love this. Basically was Wing Commander with a touch of Macross like flying with multiple target locks and release a swarm of missiles (If you used that payload set) Steam has it as well for 15$
I played this orig on my Dell Streak 7.
I assume this will work with a PS3 controller since it's for the Xperia?
The game doesnt have a hardware mapping option or option to use different inputs. Now unless you have a way to emulate the xperia play controls (Which should be easy if you edited the mappings to match what xperia does with BACK_Alt, Button Y, A B etc) Cept seems like alot of work when honestly.. this game does play better with tilt controls. =)
Yahoo downloaded game but don't know how to add controls? Just tilt steering
Sent from my SGH-T999
Tilt steering is the way to go tbh. =) Much easier to play this game. Any other way youd need to have a alternate input method that simulates hardware buttons of the xperia play. Which like I said would be pretty confusing and would also require you to change things in your system files around to make the KEY respond as "x" button.
Which like I said, more advanced modders know what I mean, but for the avg person. tilt steering.. which is how I prefer to play this game anyways.
Interesting, seems play store changed it up, however game still runs if you install it or just change build prop to an xperia play model, download it and go.
Wondering why they dont have a version out for the S3 in general.
Pepoleeeee.
YOU DONT NEEDDD USE THIS VERSION

SG USB Mass Storage Enabler allows you to export your microSD card over USB as a Mass Storage device. It will never be able to export the internal storage on the device.
I originally made this app for myself for the SGS3, as I needed some more flexibility in mounting/unmounting than Easy UMS offered. However, I backed out from releasing it as I thought it wasn't a nice gesture towards Easy UMS's dev.
Features:
Allows you to use your microSD card as a USB Mass Storage device.
Shortcuts on your homescreen to easily enable/disable USB Mass Storage mode.
Warns the user if they try to disable Mass Storage mode without unmounting/ejecting on the PC side.
Tested working on:

I've loaded this and tried it out. Works well from what I've experienced. For most stuff the MTP works fine, but for stuff like Visual Basic projects, it MTP does not play nice. This, made the phone act like a flash drive, and I could load those same projects directly from the phone; in MTP, I had to copy the project to the computer first.
The only issue I've encountered, and it was cosmetic, the landscape view needs adjusting because the text and buttons overlap.
I didn't try reloading Samsung drives to see if it helps with the hardward ID issue for ADB. I assume it will not.
Nice
Nice I like it you said that's for the s4

The rapprochement between Nokia and Android looked very interesting since it came to light the first leaks of the Nokia X, although the movement seemed a bit odd especially since it had been bought by Microsoft and it is normal that the industry should focus on Windows Phone. However, Microsoft bought what was the business of the devices and services, and given the size of Nokia, several departments were left out. One is that for years has developed software and other functions for your device and now released its first App for android: Z Launcher.
As you can guess by its name, Z Launcher is a launcher for the new Google system that performs the same task as other known (as Apex, Nova, Go and others), can radically change the phone interface. We are used to see dozens of customization options in each launcher, but Z Launcher is the opposite: simple, clean and, say, different.

What you see in the pictures is all that is shown. At the top we display the time, date and the next event in our agendas, and can click on each item to enter its corresponding App. At the bottom there are five direct hits to choose from, as in most launchers, but where it really is different Z hits Launcher is occupying most of the screen.
Z Launcher learns and shows you what you need at all times
This list of 6 items is not fixed, but that varies during the day according to the Apps more we open, the more contacts you call or visit us more. Z learns Launcher as your use and therefore will adapt to how you use the phone to show some suggestions or other at the right time. Know what the Apps you use at work are not the same as Saturday night, nor you need when you are having breakfast.

Okay, so you wonder, where are the other apps I have installed are? As there is no use application drawer, Z Launcher has a feature called "Scribble" which allows access to any application by typing the first letter of his name anywhere on the screen. For example, if you go to Facebook, simply make a finger F and a list of apps, contacts and websites that correspond with that letter appears.
If you have many apps whose names begin with F, Z Launcher applies the same system always gives preference to those that use the most. It works exactly like if instead of opening an app, you need to call someone or do an internet search.
Definitely a different system, but given the amount of existing launchers on Google Play is also necessary to differentiate a little. Currently Z Launcher is Pre Beta phase, so it may have some flaws and can only be downloaded from their website, you'll see how these developers will create Nokia Apps for Android, but it's a good start. Have you tried it? What do you think?.
NOT WORK IN ROOT DEVICES
DOWNLOAD
MIRROR MEGA
working with ROOT
it will work on a rooted phone . just follow these steps
1. install xposed
2. download rootcloak
3. install zlauncher
4. add zlauncher app into rootcloak
5. launch zlauncher LIKE A BAUSS
Why i can't activate it?
Does anyone know if it's possible to set the playstore to only offer & display updates
for apps which are currently in my app drawer instead of offering/displaying all apps
which I have ever downloaded or purchased from the playstore which I don't use?
In other words I want the playstore to only display those updates which are currently
installed in my phone's app drawer and not for all apps which I have ever downloaded.
I know the settings in the playstore are very limited so perhaps there is a third party
app which I am unaware of that I can download from the playstore which has a lot
more user options in it's settings so I could have more control over the playstore.
Any help, suggests or advise would be really appreciated.
Well if I got you right it does it on its own if you select my apps and open the installed register. Sorry if I got your question wrong but that seems to be the obvius answer

Yes I know about opening "my apps" and that's the problem.
When I click on my apps it lists all updates even if they are not currently in my app drawer.
It lists a lot of apps which I have uninstalled and no longer use or all those bloatware apps
which I have already uninstalled or froze with titanium backup.
Apps like google play music, google play games, yahoo finance, all share cast dongle,
beaming services, group play, samsung print services, google drive and many many
more bloatware apps all appear or will appear as an update even though they are either
uninstalled or frozen.
Thanks for the help.

Have you tried using titanium to disconnect the apps from the play store? If you go to the backup/restore tab and choose the app you want and swipe the page that let's you freeze or delete it has a special features page. One of the options is "detach from market". Worth a shot.

Hello everyone.
I have recently bought a betop G1 controller and it's not working in any games. It does get connected but I can't go into the peripheral settings or to do anything with it, the only thing It does it works as a mouse trough the homescreen.
I have tried different versions of App Assistant but still no change.
I'm using EMUI 10.0.0.184.
Does anyone else have this problem

Solution to Betop G1 issues
Hi Everyone,
I hope everyone of you is fine and safe during this pandemic.
I found a solution to our Betop G1 issues. The controller was lying in my house for around 1.5 years because I could not find a way to connect.
I tried Panda gamepad pro, Octopus launcher, even some chinese third party app with a lot of ads. Nothing worked.
Yesterday I found their official website below:
https://www.betop-cn.com/en/#/index
Here is our controller:
https://www.betop-cn.com/en/#/productDetail?productId=48
And here is the downloads section:
https://www.betop-cn.com/en/#/down
Download the JoyU (first link) from their website. Its an interface like AppAssistant (minus the block notifications blah blah settings).
Download the apk and install it on your phone.
Then download "map activation tool" (fourth link) on your windows computer. Connect your phone to computer and then start this tool. Allow USB debugging in charge only mode and start the process.
It would activate the app and then we can play any game with the controller like we used to earlier.
I have tested it on my Honor View 10 running EMUI 10 and OnePlus 7T Pro on Oxygen OS. It is working perfectly fine.
Just one drawback. If you restart your phone, you need to reactivate the app. The app doesnt have any advertisements.
I earlier thought that this controller only worked for Huawei and Honor phones and yes the AppAssistant still supports it.
But it can be used to all Android and iOS phones. We all were caught up in the hype since they marketed it as it was specifically made for Huawei and Honor phones.
I played COD mobile (since PUBG now is banned in India), Among us, PACMAN, Brothers in Arms 3, Nova 3 and it worked fine for all of those so I think it should work for all games.
Try this and let me know if you have any questions.
