Beta Testers Requested! CM10

Hola Folks so we are testing out some new roms to the sgs3 and I'm too new to sgs3 area and I dont yet know whos who nor do I have people I know with a rooted phone yet. so I can only pass this test along and test myself of coarse. Im the head beta tester for Hellfire Roms and I will probably be opening or Hell will open a thread but I would like some testers as I dont have anyone currently from my previous teams that currently have the sgs3. Please post here or pm me if your interested. We are Tmous and cm oriented if your curious.
Currently we have cm 10 beta. Series name: HFJ

Beats me lol, I'm all over this thread like I was on the g2x. I'm down to be a tester though for sure. Ill put it to work too. I have a spare battery and 3 days 14 hours shifts of work with me playing on the phone the whole time practically. I saw Hell post somewhere and he noticed me.

Ok sounds cool. I just one question for yall.. can you tell me more about your experience/history with flashing and hacking Android? I don't want noobs so I always double check with experience since some people have selective reading. Thanks in advance

Every time I come across one of your posts, I somehow manage to click on that gargantuan signature you use!!
Though I have noticed it appears to have shrunk...

Been flashing/rooting since the D1. I will abuse your ROM like a red headed step child...and than of coarse give you some logs.

Need beta testers for 4.2.2 based ROM

Looking for individuals who would be interested in beta testing a complete 4.2.2 ROM for the SGS3. We have testers for d2vzw and d2spr but are lacking anyone to test for d2tmo and d2att. If you are interested please send me an email at shauder [at] teambamf.net.

BAMF from the looks of it. I thought there wasn't anything else coming out of them.
Edit-Nothing has happened with BAMF since October. Seems like they were on a hiatus.

Team BAMF?? Hell effing yes!!!! Ran there work when I had my HTC TBolt. Shoot me the link. I test for Team VeNuM but would be happy to test BAMF's work!!

Jellybeans stable coming

Just an update for all you jellybeans ROM lovers, spoke with him over on the Verizon thread and he said it is very close to being complete and he would be porting it over for us all. I remember using the port that mackentosh brought over and it being my daily for weeks, definetly something to look forward too!

Jellybeans is a rom on verizon note 2 .... it was ported by mack but not updated and the original dev will port it to our phone ...

Yeah basically it's the international version. Sprint and the other US carriers won't get it until later.

I think he might be assuming that because it is usually the case with these things. International gets all updates first, if we ever get them at all

Yep that's what usually happens. International versions get it first. Samsung can just push the update to those devices. However, for the US versions, the carrier gets the update from samsung and "tweaks" it... Basically making sure it works with their networks and adding the carrier bloatware.

I don't know man.. I'm sure that's how it will go down but they have been sitting on this update for a minute now. They just wanted 4.2.2 on their new flagship before updating people's older devices.. I'm ready to go back to the Note 2 for a while, just waiting on this update.

Every time Sprint releases firmware upgrades they take the old firmware and put it in a blender. Breaking all the learned and established ways of adding features... Forcing devs to continually reinvent the wheel each and every time. All for no real reason.

I have to disagree. At least with my old epic touch. Ics was a complete flop as far as I'm concerned and jelly bean was worlds apart. And after source got released the devs over there anyway were able to create some great roms and kernels. I think this update will be pretty good. However it will still be jelly bean but with some tweaks of course.

Note 2 aosp roms

Well I found this but there is no thread for us. Validus! It is pretty good. Just google it. I was looking for something new to compile and looks like most of the really good sources are coming to an end Going to do a lego rom build for us. It is slim based but has some nice additions. It is compiled using the 4.10 toolchain which will help it run smoother.
If anyone finds some cool source roms let me know and I will see what can be done to get them going for us.
